This airline lacks any business ethics in the way it operates causing lots of stress to it's customers and it doesn't have any direct communication with staff who could help customers with any inquiry .
We are going to miss Bonza
I was disappointed to hear that Bonza has gone into administration. We live near Port Macquarie so finally we found a direct flight to Melbourne where our daughter lives. We have flown return to Melbourne multiple times with no problems. One time when my daughter was flying back to Melbourne from Port the plane was late landing at Port due to severe storms. A gentleman from Bonza was circulating around the passengers keeping us updated. He showed us on flight radar the plane circling over Port. Now it looks like we will have to fly to Melbourne via Sydney at triple the price and adding hours to the trip
We have had more trouble with QANTAS cancelling flights when we were flying to Sydney on business.

Bonza has stolen my money and my ability to rebook another flight. I don’t want a credit - I want my money back so I can use the funds to book another flight. This is blatant theft & thuggery. Bonza cites ‘operational issues’ as the reason for the flight cancellation - how is this our fault? We had a call from the ‘Bonza’ reservation team - they want to charge $75 to refund our initial funds.
I am taking this further and looking to engage with legal & media support.

Still waiting for Bonza to come back to me on a flight that was changed from evening to morning making us lose and entire day of our travel itinerary. The only solutions provided by their customer service team was for their passengers to incur additional fees for changes that they made to their flights. We are not the only ones impacted by this change. How do decisions like this get made without accepting any responsibility for these changes and helping customers find an alternative. This is our first Bonza trip and it will certainly be the last with this kind of service and don't care attitude.

Bonza is making this very hard and there seem to be no one to talk to. I wanted Bonza to succeed in helping Australians but the way I'm being treated is discussing.

Worst airline in Australian history. Not enough passengers on flight out of GC so change our flight to Sunshine coast.
Had to travel through the night by coach arriving at SC airport at 5:00 AM. Next flight delayed an hour and very tired young children.the staff were not even nice. Don't fly Bonza!

Just got an email from them advising me of change of day of departure and return, which completely screws up my plans. Try their chatline, no response, can't login to site, no option to cancel on app, just dodgy!! My one star rating is actually a ZERO!

They cancelled our flights twice due to ”OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS” and routed us to a different airport which is 3 hours away which is unbelievable and now looking at other options copping with the costs which are more expensive due to the dates. No compensation offered of course just routed to a different airport.
Worst airline! Don’t risk the cheap flights as they will cancel it 2 days before your flight. Both return tickets were CANCELLED!!!
Unreliable Airline
First time we booked a flight with Bonza despite being advised we should not as they often cancel flights. Well it happened to us and our flight has been cancelled and we now have to scramble to find other flights. And best of all we will have to wait 28 days for our refund. I have now learned my lesson and will never book with them again.

If I could give less that one star I would. Firstly both our onward and return booking times have changed without any notification, both 5 -7 hrs earlier than we had booked. I need to change one flight due to this, for one person. OMG two days of waiting for a response on the Support Chat line. The App on the phone is excruciating to try to type on. Im on the computer and the phone. I have waited and waited, they did respond at 9.30pm and 11pm last night, when I was already in bed....so I missed the chats. Now it is the day before the flight and I'm still waiting.....from 8 am ..... I cant change the booking online, the app has cancelled all the tickets so now we don't know if this person can even come on the trip. The flight is tomorrow at 7am !!!!!!! Yes, Jetstar is bad, Bonza is beyond ridiculous, I feel like I'm in a Kafka novel. Edit: Once I finally got through to someone around noon, they took my number, rang me and were amazing! The representative fixed the problem in a few mins, polite friendly and helpful. I paid $87 (and two stressful days) to change one flight. I could conceed another star!

I got message two hours before of my journey v that my flight has cancelled due to operational maintenance. They didn't give my money back so far after 12 weeks too. Thera is no helpline number to talk to them and no response of chat.

I like most of your reviewers would give this company zero stars. My daughter had her flight from Gold Coast to Proserpine cancelled with just two days notice. She was travelling with three young children on her own. Bonza transferred her onto a flight to Mackay with two bus trips to get her to her destination. Now her holiday is coming to an end once again a message from Bonza cancelling her return flight from Proserpine back to Gold Coast. Once again they want to transfer her back to MacKay with two bus trips but not until the following day. No offer of accommodation or meal vouchers and a form to return if you want to apply for a refund. There is no way to contact this airline - they should not be allowed to operate under these circumstances. I would agree with all your reviewers that this Company will not last and would advise everyone to book with a different Airline and not use Bonza. The word will get around pretty fast when you treat people like this and destroy their holidays. I hope people read this and realise it is just not worth the risk, stress and inconvenience you are likely to experience if you book with Bonza.
The public need to be informed
The worst of the worst I have ever seen in Airline companies booked flights for an important engagement . The day before they sent an email for check in and the flight was changed WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION . No phone number and no response from the chat line at all even after trying to contact them on the chat line for 24 hours . I know we have all complained about Jetstar but these guys take the cake . Now I have read reviews not only on this site but others and Im kicking myself for not doing research first . The quicker this airline gets out of our country the better .

So paid 15 dollars a seat to book myself and my two boys from. Cairns to the sunshine Coast, left Cairns 1/2 hr late, boarded the plane to find my 8 year old and my ten year old were in different rows, all window seats but in different areas! Thanks to the cabin crew who put us together.
Arrived on the sunshine Coast and waited atleast 1/2 hr before luggage to get out.

My flight was cancelled with 7 hour's notice which left me stranded. I have been trying to get my refund and they have emailed me to say it was completed but it's not in any of my bank accounts. You can't contact them and have spent 8 hours waiting on chat with no contact at all.
The actual flights are fine with no complaints at all, when they run. Fingers crosees they can sort out their problems and continue running
