They're now permanently closed. After my first negative experience with them sending a faulty drone, me attempting to return it, it being stuck in Slovakian customs for 3 months, then returned to me because FlyLusive wouldn't accept it, they replied to my review and promised they'd partially refund my purchase. It never happened. I emailed them at least 20 times over a period of 2 months (not an exaggeration) and they never replied.

As of last week they state on the website that they're closed forever. This means that if something happens to the drone you bought from them you're SOL. No repairs. No warranty.

I ordered an “open box” mini 3 pro from…

I ordered an “open box” mini 3 pro from FlyLusive. There were no pictures of the actual drone they were sending. In Canada, open box means opened but in like-new condition. This was very far from what FlyLusive sold me. There were scuffs and scratches all over the drone. Discoloration of the plastic. Minor impact damage. One of the stickers that guard the underside of the prop motors were missing, and there was a motor balance issue. Upon attempting to launch it I noticed it was rotating in place. It would spin in circles while on the ground with no input from the controller. I can only imagine that this was due to either the props being unbalanced or the motor being about to fail. In no way does this constitute an “open box”.

FlyLusive accepted a return. I took the drone into Canada post, gave them the address it was to be returned to, and mailed it off with $1000 CAD insurance in the event something happened to it (the insurance cost me $150 CAD). That was on March 4th 2024. It hit the Slovakia customs on the March 12th 2024. It hasn’t moved since that date. It is now MAY 20th 2024! I have contacted customs. Customs has contacted the seller. I have contacted the seller. The seller complained that by putting insurance on a drone that they charged me $920 CAD for that they now have to pay a release fee to customs. They refused to do so.

In the last 3 days I asked Canada post to make a request that the item, after sitting in the purgatory that is Slovakia customs for THREE MONTHS, is returned to me. It is now on it’s way back.

Shortly after I bought this drone I suggested this product to a friend of mine, saying that this drone would allow him to fly in deactivated no-fly zones near his home. He bought one. When it arrived it was still locked, and despite lengthy communication with FlyLusive, they said it was somehow HIS fault that the drone was still locked, and that if he jumped through the same “return product” hoops that I’ve been going through, they would actually unlock it this time, then charge him yet more money to send back the product that wasn’t working properly the first time he bought it.

This is a half ***** company. It’s a gamble shopping with them. My advice would be to only buy NEW drones from them. Not “open box”. And even then if it works as advertised when it arrives consider yourself lucky. Oh, did I mention their “unlocking service” only lasts 4 years from the date of purchase? That’s right. After 4 years of owning the drone it will have to be returned to them overseas and maybe, just maybe, they’ll be able to unlock it again. Considering my DJI Mini 2 drone was permanently unlocked with a simple hack that was downloadable from another more reputable site for a $50 fee online, the fact that we allegedly have to return the entire drone overseas and jump through all these **** stained hoops yet again is absolutely maddening.

You’ve been warned.

Unfortunately, there were issues with Slovak customs, where they misplaced the package documentation and erroneously handed it over to the wrong party, despite your communication with them. We have sent several emails to Slovak customs but have not received any response.

As a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to refund you the amount needed to repair the drone locally in your country.

Regarding your friend's situation, he applied a different unlocking certificate to the drone, which was evident on the DJI website. This action overwrote our original unlocking and subsequently led to the perceived issues with the drone's quality.

Same here, extemely poor communication

Same here: I sent them four emails, the first one was replied to, but my question was not answered. After that, only silence. No sales with me!

No response to my requests

2 emails sent to this company for general information with a view to purchasing a drone but no response to date even though it has been more than a month.
Not speaking sufficient English to express my request (it is not my mother tongue) and even less Slovak, I am very disappointed.

Purchasing from Canada was fine

Purchasing from Canada was fine. I had a ton of questions before purchasing, and all had been answered. Even with time zone difference, correspondence was timely. I emailed with Pat mostly and he was very easy to deal with. I’ve only tested the height restriction part of the license and it works!! Got some amazing shots following a mountain ridge line way up. Haven’t tested the Geo fence part as I’m usually flying in the middle of nowhere, but I’m sure if the height works the geo fence works.
The instructions I got from Flylusive on how to fly with the hack done, stated I should start flying without the app and then connect once in the air. I couldn’t figure out how to do that and have just always flown in airplane mode with no issues.

Flylusive and how good their hack is.

I recieved my drone , spending 300 more than a local purchase would have been but think the hack they offer may be worth it. Recieved the drone with no hack done to it . Then they say the I must have uploaded a program to it and deletes the hack. That did not happen
So I write this review to say shop local they do not stay to their word .
I will share the emails between myaelf and flylusive if there are any doubts of what I say.
They want me to send it back and pay them again to do the hack I had requested in my order. Yes I have screen shots of that as well. Shipping ome way with inauramce is 150 return I dont know addthe cost of the hack again and well why throw good money after bad.

Fast and serious dealings

Very fast and reliable

These people are incredibly good.
I recommend them to everyone. From the day I sent the drone, they were there for me 24 hours a day.
They answered all my questions immediately,
The delivery guy messed up the delivery, they solved it right away. They sent the drone on Wednesday already today I have it back on Saturday. So they did the job super fast and sent the drone back. The delivery time from Slovakia to Germany is three days. I recommend FlyLusive to everyone who wants quality and fast service.
And license is working I have fly today above 680 m
