Overall I had an OK experience with Norse. The flight was 6h late, waiting on the plane, for an 11h trip. I was told I could get compensation. I made a claim and sent them another email after not he... See more

London to Orlando Return
London to Orlando Return. 2 adults 2 kids.
Price - Economy including fast track and baggage 2k£, around 1.5- 2k£ cheaper than BA or Virgin.
Plane. Modern Boeing 787. Everything worked as expected.
Cabin crew and pilots, All friendly and experienced.
Customer Service and Support away from the airport - Terrible, still haven’t replied. My wife’s name was wrong on her boarding pass. Whilst correcting it, they deleted my son’s ticket.
In summary, everything was good except for the customer service away from the airport.
Flight delay of 23 hours from…
Flight delay of 23 hours from Bridgetown to Manchester.
Completed the online form for standard compensation only to be ignored.
Court action now raised against these cowboys.
I have never known an airline to not have an active telephone line and that the only way to contact customer service is through a chatbot.
I did not choose to fly with Norse, it was part of a package holiday with P&O.
Think carefully before booking with them, if something goes wrong you have no way of contacting them!
Norse airlines - unhelpful with compensation for delays
Norse airlines were used by P&O to get us to our cruise. The flight was delayed over 5 hours and the return flight by 4 hours. Norse airlines very unhelpful with complaints and efforts to get compensation. I was also disappointed in P&O who were also unhelpful.
I wouldn't use Norse airlines
I have just flown from Gatwick to Cape…
I have just flown from Gatwick to Cape Town. The flight was cheaper than others. I wasn't expecting much but....check in was easy. Left/arrived on time. Food OK- service good. Toilets regularly cleaned throughout the 11 hours.
All in all great flight!
BEWARE DO NOT FLY !!!!!
BEWARE !! If you are ever considering booking with this airline please THINK AGAIN !

London to Bangkok return.
I flew from London Gatwick to Bangkok Airport and Bangkok Airport to London Gatwick with Norse Atlantic Airways.
Both flights were on time. Both flights were comfortable ( Economy )
The crew on both flights were attentive, hard working and professional.
The updates from the Captain, the cockpit, were clear, precise and informative.
From my experience, I can highly recommend Norse Atlantic Airways. I will definitely fly with them again.
I had return flights booked LGW to ORL
I had return flights booked LGW to ORL. a week before the first flight, the flight got cancelled, and I’m still waiting for a refund for the cancelled flights, and for the reimbursement of the difference 8 weeks later. We had booked and paid for premium for the return, as was 20 weeks pregnant, but there was no premium cabin on the plane. We weren’t told until boarding - all had middle seats, no reclining seat at all, no headrest, no milk for tea and coffee. No apology! Still waiting for money back for the change in cabin!
Absolute shambles. No phone number to discuss complaint. Logged over 8 weeks ago, and not had a response.
customer service
I needed to change my husbands booked outbound flight but it was is linked to mine. I had to waiting for a customer service person to email me to help and waited days to be helped. Finally it was sorted tonight. Thank you for helping. But talking to a person would be better.
Two passengers delayed by accident on…
Two passengers delayed by accident on the M25 absolutely no way to contact anyone - chat bot says will email back , no telephone support, says use "your trip" to change flight but the site does not allow for this very very poor
Pathetic airline.....changed the date…
Pathetic airline.....changed the date of our flight by bringing forward a full day. Booked an additional nights hotel at my expense. Cancelled the flight altogether with 24hrs notice after hotels, tickets, transport paid for and unrefundable. Found another airline but lost 1 day in New York and the additional night I'd paid for because of Norse...Flight home wasn't cancelled...we'd been on 4 different flights in the previous 6 days and had "zero" problems....surprise, surprise, when we tried to check in the attendant smirked as she told me my carry on was too heavy and that my purposely bought airline rucksack which is all the correct dimensions for every other flight it's been on (circa 20) with various airlines..was too big for Norse airlines as they have smaller dimensions than other airlines. I was then told the only thing I could do was check my carry on at a further cost of £130 pounds...so for me and my father a further £260 on top of the ticket price which wasn't that cheap to start with. If I can give any advice AVOID this airline like the plague. The worst airline I've ever traveled with.
I booked Gatwick to Bangkok with Norse…
I booked Gatwick to Bangkok with Norse mainly because they had the best price—and I’ll admit, I was a bit sceptical as I’d never flown with them before. After paying, I heard a few negative comments and thought, “Well, that’s reassuring… but the tickets are booked, so off we go.”
Honestly, I think people can be a little dramatic with bad reviews—sometimes expectations don’t match the price paid. My experience with Norse was excellent. The legroom was better than British Airways and genuinely comparable to Emirates. The crew were friendly, professional, and consistently helpful—no sour faces, no attitude, just good service.
You’re clearly told at booking that meals are an extra cost, which was absolutely fine for a cheaper fare. I did buy meals, and they were genuinely great. Overall, Norse delivered serious value for money, and I’ll be flying with them again.
Just returned (1st March 2026) from…
Just returned (1st March 2026) from Barbados to Gatwick. Before our holiday cruise with P and O, I was little concerned after reading many unfavourable reviews about Norse Airlines. However, I found them to be ‘up to the task’ so my concerns were unwarranted. No delays on the outward journey but an hour delay (or so) for the return leg which I believe was out of their control. Reasonable standard of food and drinks on board that was cheerfully served by the excellent cabin staff. A special mention for Natalia who was outstanding. Norse management… You have a ‘good-un’ here. Don’t you dare let BA or Virgin et al poach her. You will regret it!
Norse…Keep up the good work but I will finish on a negative. I was worried pre-flights because if anything went wrong, you offer no telephone numbers for the punters to ring and the first and only port of call is a robot that guesses your words. Not good! Please address this!
Steve.
My experience is anxiety related to Norse and my family stranded in Florida…
My experience is anxiety related to my son, daughter in law, and grandaughter being stuck in Florida because this airline is incapable, it seems, of getting them home, except by using another carrier. They abandon their passengers, leaving them to take care of themselves and fail to inform them what is going on, except about a further delay. This airline has an atrocious reliabilty record and in my opinion should be suspended by regulators until they get their act together. As to compensation, this is now possibly requiring claiming through the courts, at the client's expense.
Useless AI - chatbox
I wanted to Cancel my ticket (I was entitled to do so)
First of all I had to Google how to do so as Norse website is useless
Found out I had to discuss with their AI chatbox as it repeatedly said I would not get a refund
After having talked to a real person I got my refund
Scaty that their automated system isn’t functioning correctly
This is a great value airline
This is a great value airline.
I booked London Gatwick to Bangkok return direct flights which cost considerably less than all other airlines.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
No hassles.
My flight from London to Orlando didn't happen and I have no compensation after 8 weeks
My flight from London to Orlando was cancalled less than 14 days prior to the planned departure. No alternative flight was offered and the reimbursement process was confusing and without any ressource for support (apart from a chatbot that is as far from AI as it gets). I was refunded and had to rebook another flight connection that was more expensive and less convenient as it had a layover and shortened my trip.
I filed a claim for the price difference as well as the compensation of 600€ that I am entitled to via EU/UK laws and have no update after almost 8 weeks - although processing time is 6-8 weeks according to the stupid chatbot. In the meantime my claim also disappeared and now reappeared on their system according to my check ins with that ducking chat bot. Don't book with Norse!
Update: As of 12.03.2026 I still don't have a response and have no looked into escalating with CEDR.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible - cancelled my flight to Orlando the day before - would only offer me a flight with them 5 days later ! Point blank refused to reroute me via another airline saying they have no responsibility to do that ignoring UK261 rules. Refused to refund my ticket after I had to pay £1000s out my own pocket for another flight with BA and then ghosted me in all email communication I sent until I issued court proceedings. They then replied within a day offering me $1000 airline credit to cancel court judgement. Refused credit and they ghosted again. Issued CCJ and within 2 days emailed me with offer of 50% of what they owed me - refused and sent in bailiffs who got my full amount
Never ever book these flights
Never ever book these flights.
Flight cancelled one hour before departure. Apparently the aircraft wasn't even there but still checked everyone in.
Waited many many hours to go back through passport control and collect the bags again.
Offered a replacement flight 19 hours later with some unknown airline.
Zero star Extremely Disappointing Experience
Zero star,
It took over a week to receive any response regarding a simple ticket change. During that time, I sent multiple emails and attempted to use the online chat bot several times a day, but got absolutely nowhere. There is no accessible contact number to speak to a real person.
Honestly, scammers are more responsive than this airline after reaching out to X and Facebook in a desperate bids. That’s how poor the customer service experience was.
The flight itself was equally disappointing. The seats were uncomfortable, service from some cabin crew felt abrupt and borderline aggressive when trying to explain our situation whenever travel with 3 young children and pre booked seats to be together. Overall the experience was far below what you would expect on a long-haul route even a so call budget airline.
We paid to select specific seats so we could sit together as a family, yet we were moved and have still not been offered a refund for the seat selection fee.
Onboard, nothing is included — no blanket, no headphones, no meal service (basic fare), and no drinks unless you pay extra. For a long-haul flight, that’s unacceptable unless prices are significantly cheaper which they are not. In our experience only £150 cheaper than Eva who offer more baggage.
They market themselves as low-cost, but they are not much cheaper than a full-service airline, yet the service difference is huge.
Calling this “long-haul Ryanair” would be generous at least with other budget airlines you know exactly what you’re getting.
Very disappointing experience overall. I would not book again and won't be surprised if they go bust.
Was concerned when wife booked the flights after reading reviews and unfortunately I wasn't presenetly surprised and will be booing Eva again for our next trip.
Update
After 8 weeks or contacting customer service, I have finally been told that even though I paid for a seats together. We are not entitled to a refund if we are given the same seat type but not together. Given these are basic seats its pointless book seats on this airline. Was never going to fly them again, but want to make people aware. If you have a problem it will take weeks/months to resolve. Called a budget and there certainly are
36h delay and yet no compensation despite being legally obliged to
WOWOWOWOWOWOW
This is another level of incompetence. We were 36h delayed before Xmas - nearly missed Xmas with family - and the airport staff had to jump in and save the day but never ever since then have we heard from Norse. No apology, no acknowledgment of the compensation claim, nothing. They are operating illegally and I am not surprised if they do into administration tomorrow.
