All presenters were efficient and professional. They gave their presentations at a good pace and everyone finished on time. Great value!

While not an ideal way to hold a conference, FMC showed how on-line training can be done effectively. The sessions were valuable and the price tag was unbeatable. Great value for their customers. My personal preference however, is in-person training sessions. But FMC gets five stars for pulling this off under extraordinary circumstances.

The interface was not clear, I was never able to have a global view of what's happening, what will happen, register in advance, be reminded, etc.

It turned out much better than expected. There were a couple of minor glitches that were not the fault of FMC. The presenters took things in stride, and were surprisingly engaging given the physical separation. Tons of good knowledge, easy to follow, great tips and moral support, etc. A good group of educators hosted by a first class operation.

I enjoyed the interactivity of this event. Expertly run Q&A. My only suggestion would be to add some buffer between sessions next time, perhaps a morning and afternoon break.

Lin’s were broke. Logins didn’t always work.

I learned so much at post|production world. Future Media Concepts gathered awesome experts and I can't wait to attend again next year! Liat provided excellent customer service quickly responding to all inquiries. It was worth every penny and more.

Training was fast paced, not enough time to complete the labs.
This should have been spread out over another day or so.
Hard to comprehend all the information in the condensed format.

Mr.Creamer was a great instructor who facilitated the class with many demonstrations in detail.

This is a great company that offers a variety of classes and wonderful teachers. Everything has been very smooth despite the current situation with COVID-19. I highly recommend taking their classes.

I thought the course was very informative and helpful to extend the knowledge I previously had.

We had some issues and concerns after taking the Color Grading and Finishing with DaVinci Resolve 101 course (3 of us were there for the training) at FMC in Washington, DC:

- Miscommunication:
There was a miscommunication with the instructor as to which course was actually being taught. He was under the impression that it was the Introduction to Editing with DaVinci Resolve course. We advised him that we were there for the Color Grading and Finishing 101 course. We then spent most of the rest of the morning downloading files and setting up the computers for color grading training. We lost a half day due to this issue.

- Training Manual/Book:
When we arrived for the training, we were given a general overview book (The Definitive Guide to DaVinci Resolve 15) which is used in the Editing with DaVinci Resolve course. When things were switched over to the color grading course, we traded in the original books given to us and were then given new books: Color Correction with DaVinci Resolve 15. But... FMC’s DC office only had 2 copies of that book, which wasn’t enough since there were 3 of us.

- The Training:
The instructor seemed as though he was simply going page by page through the Color Correction with DaVinci Resolve 15 book, which students could have done on their own. He was very knowledgeable about the software and did answer any questions we had. But for $1,895 (x 3) for this course, we were expecting a lot more in-depth teaching involved.

- The Equipment:
The computers set up in the training room were loaded with the free version of DaVinci Resolve and not the Studio version. This was a problem since some of the effects that were utilized in examples from the book came up with a watermark. The Studio version of the Resolve software is only $300. And I would imagine that Blackmagic could possibly provide FMC the Studio version for free since FMC is listed on Blackmagic’s website as a Blackmagic Design Training Partner. Also, it would have been nice to have a color grading monitor at each workstation. It was tough to see color grading adjustments on a single computer monitor.

I wont be returning to FMC, i wasn't happy with the instructor that I had last time.

Got lost several times during the class. Was trying to catch up but I didn't know anything about the class before the actual Future Media class. The instructions were on the fast side and I guess Future Media Concepts thought that I knew enough about this Class to follow along.

The workshop was great, very informative and well taught!

I came down to Toronto in a snowstorm the night prior only to find out that the course I was registered for did not exist......

Thankfully, we were able to reschedule and I am looking forward to taking a real class.

I hope that I will be able to give a positive review for the replacement course.

Tests can be nerve racking, Future Media Concepts did everything possible to make my experience a good one. The facility was clean, quiet and provided an excellent atmosphere for applying what I learned to my test.
