Folder Fort - Blazing Fast Cloud Storage Reviews 

I've been using other cloud storage for storing my pdf files, and finally I found one that works to my satisfaction. Fast uploads and downloads, excellent support, easy to use format and very reasonable rates. The ability to have separate Workspaces is a great feature. So far, I can't find a single complaint.

I AM VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND HAS A PROBLEM GETTING SET UP CORRECTLY. THE SOPPORT STAFF ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE CHAT WAS PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT. IT WAS A PLEASURE DEALING WITH THEM. USING THE SERVICE IS NOW EASY.

I've had my Folder Fort account for 2 months and use it heavily every day. So far so good! Fast and easy and Support answered my question within 10 minutes on a Sunday. Impressive!

I signed up for the 1TB Lifetime service a couple of weeks ago. I was disappointed with the upload and retrieval speed, the lack of a phone app as well as online tools to help navigate, select multiple files, to re-upload files that failed to be uploaded. I was ready to cancel my subscription after a week of using the service.

I decided to wait a little longer since I have started to see significant improvements with the upload and retrieval speed. I am happier but still waiting to more improvements before deciding on whether I should keep the Folderfort subscription or cancel it. I have a couple of weeks to make this decision while waiting for some tools, which are important to me, to be added to Folderfort's online feature set. These missing tools include an Android app, the ability to choose (from Folderfort interface menu) and re-upload files that have failed the upload process. Also, as of this moment, uploading multiple files from an Android phone will fail once the phone screen timeout comes on. The screen of the phone has be kept active for the uploading process to continue.

I hope the things I mentioned above will be fixed/added before I am forced to make my final decision on whether to keep my Folderfort subscription.

Blazing fast is accurate, and the support is excellent. Switched from Google drive this morning and never looking back. Highly recommend!

I signed up today and uploaded some test folders. I like the straightforward, simple interface. The speeds are not so bad depending on your connection but a tard slower compared with another provider I tested side by side. I guess I could purely use this to back up.
What is holding me back from snapping up the offer is the lack of mobile Apps. One could argue that I can use the mobile device browser, but it doesn't offer offline functionality.

paid for the lifetime, every other upload fails, then i have to go through the list and re up load, soooo slow. i was warned when i read reviews online and the price hooked me in, sadly, this will suck your life away, you can upload multiple files and then as i say you have to then go through the failed ones, find which folder they were in and then re upload, and hope they dont fail again, which mostly they do

I've had the service for six days now and i had some issues but i solved it and it wasn't folderfort it was my own self created problem and they offered me excellent support and they were fast with responses. I figured it out and have had a great time with this cloud storage company. I recommend it. Legit and professional company. Fast as well

Sign up was easy and the uploads are fast. Tech support is very responsive. We need to have multiple users update and add content to the files and this process is quick and efficient. Would recommend this service for those needing cloud file storage and sharing.

Edit: After just a few hours the issue with uploading was addressed. The upload speed seems to utilize my full 1gbit connection speed so Im much happier.

I purchased the 1TB lifetime storage. So far the experience has been pretty terrible. Creating the account seemed to create a random password which I needed to reset immediately even though it lets you set that password on account creation. Very confusing.

Second, its not indicated anywhere which server you create your account on within your profile settings, so I have to guess which one to log into any time I use a new browser.

Third, and by far the most important issue - I cant upload a single file. I can create folders and workspaces but there is absolutely no ability for me to upload a file in any way. Doesnt matter the file type, size, browser used or method (drag and drop or upload button). Even disabling all pop up and ad blockers did nothing to help. It really just seems like the service is completely overwhelmed and cannot accept any more files at the moment.

I really hope this is just bad luck and its a temporary issue. I dont see a ton of negative reviews on here, but we'll see how it goes.

I have bought the lifetime 1tb storage. Speeds so far seem good. I don't need lightening fast, I'm just using for backup. The only thing missing so far for me is an app and I would like to see thumbnails for video clips rather than just the title and a generic black and white image. To be able to sync direct from phone will be ideal when it happens.

The upload and download speeds are phenomenal just as the company company claims! Also they give a generous 25 GB free to try out their service before, so you can make up your mind about how much storage you need, and you will be charged accordingly, as simple as that!

Just signed up 2TB lifetime subscription from StackSocial. Very attractive package, was haunted by Google drive out of storage for months, finally get a channel to resolve my issue. True, FolderFort is new, however with the price tag, I will take the risk to try them out. Their customer service is good, very responsive. 1 more star if they are able to put in the apps for Andoid and improve the web server. Their web server kind of slow in response and you might thought it halt.

Looks promising with the life time access of 1tb storage. Will be providing review on the life time access down the line. With life time cloud access at 72% off, it's good deal as of now.

I created an account, uploaded files, and tested it on my PC & Phone, it is working fine. Easy interface, no app for the phone, it's good, no additional space needed on my phone. I am informing everyone that working with a web browser is fine.

New to their service. Tech support is blazing fast using the chat. Uploading some files now. So far so good!

I have been using cloud storage service from Google for the past 10 years, the user interface is similar to it and friendly to use. But not sure if it just happened to me, the upload and download takes a while to load, I'm working from Malaysia, chosen NA server. Currently a free user but interested to become a lifetime user if admin to clarify the issue. Under internet cable with 100Mbps.

Updated review (2/8/2024), I signed up for 1tb lifetime, after a few days use, a few issues i would like point out:-
1. Larger files (>1gb) cant seem to do complete upload, by far still not successful.
2. You will get failed upload from multiple files.
3. Failed upload files are not automatically retry for upload.
4. Customer service was responsive but it just keep offline after i became 1tb user.

Yes, i tried on different web browser, to no vail, hope i get a response from this only i will reconsider to update the review. Also, hopefully the in-app will clear the issues.

- Max single file upload is 100GB, it works for big files now, maybe the time when i was uploading, they were doing server maintenance. Also, pls make sure your browser is active and PC not going to sleep. Any connection failure will just cut off your upload.
- They are working on Sync option for re-sync files, expected to complete by year end. There's just so much testing that goes on because it'll deploy in every system
- As for customer service, Dave is very helpful and patience enough to answer all my questions. They do 24/7 customer support unless they are working on development and other things.

I shall monitor and update the review.

Most affordable and wonderful cloud storage service, its more reliable and fast

I will keep updating this review as I continue to use FF as my main Cloud storage. I've been an early adopter of Google Drive(GD) back in the Day before Google phones and HTC had exclusive GD BU with extended storage. Then immigrated to pixel phones with unlimited photo back up.

However since they has stop the feature and now a few pictures are taking up all my GD space.
Hopefully FF will allow syncing with Phones Camera Folder to the cloud in addition to NAS support like TrueNAS.

I'm a hopeful to what FF can truly become

Just purchase it after seeing ad on PCmag.com. Look good so far and fast transfer. Hope it will have android apps :)
