Beautiful book! My wife wanted a copy of The Color Purple for Christmas so I looked around quite extensively before finding The Folio Society's version. It is by far the most lovingly crafted copy I could find and the price is more than justified. She hasn't opened it yet but I am completely confident she is going to love it.

This is a gorgeous book. I love the choice to focus on portraiture throughout the book, because this story is so often about the faces that the characters see contrasted with those that are absent.

This is the first book I purchased from Folio and I am very impressed. The book sleeve is a gorgeous piece of art. I’ve already purchased a second book and plan on purchasing more in the future for sure.
