What a great experience. We were visiting friends and had booked an appointment with Alex. Our dog Rusty was allowed in and spoilt. We live just north of London and were unable to try on Altberg or Zamberlan boots down soutrgh. The fitting service and choice were really good. The returns policy is second to none, although this was not needed. Would have given extra stars if possible.

Excellent boot fitting service. A really friendly professional team helped me and my partner find the right boots. They put a lot of time and effort into making sure we got boots that fit properly. I thoroughly recommend them. They also provided an efficient service resoling my old boots.

I ordered a Paramo fleece online at a great price. Alex called me to say it might not arrive for Xmas as I had opted for free delivery, but it arrived the next day.

Found sandals on a Google search available in my size at Foothills. So I ordered them. Had a phone call to say they were out of stock but would get them in again 1st September. My wife and I saw a very polite, knowledgeable young man when I visited this great outdoors shop to buy a new pair of walking boots. His name is Moses and, in 40+ years of buying boots, he's been the most efficient and knowledgeable (who knew there were so many different ways and reasons why you'd lace boots differently!).
He couldn't be more attentive, there was no 'here you go these will do' mentality; he took the time to measure my feet properly, discuss my needs and make recommendations. All this in a very relaxed manner.
I hope he stays in the industry and I can go back for his advice and guidance in the future!
Note to Foothills - look after him, he's an asset to your business.

Great advice and service from the guys at Foothills Sheffield Ltd, I ordered a Paramo Velez Adventure Light Smock, I was kept updated on my order from the off, when it arrived it was too big, but nothing was a bother to return it for the next size down, received a phone call once they had received the returned smock to say they had it and to give me an approximate date for the new one, great service and great price, wouldn't hesitate to use again

THE place to go to buy hiking boots. Cannot fault the customer service at Foothills. Went in to buy new boots last week and Alex spent a good hour and a half measuring my feet, recommending boots, finding the perfect fit and letting me test them out. And was highly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Can’t fault the level of customer care. Would recommend to anyone, avoid the big chains and go to this place. I will be going there again and again for all my stuff. Cheers.

Why can't all companies be this good? Received a faulty Paramo coat as a Christmas gift. Contacted company on boxing day who were extremely helpful. Returned garment, postage cost refunded very quickly and new jacket dispatched direct from Paramo. Absolutely excellent customer service, would definitely use them again.

Ordered fast delivery and due to postal strikes, items wouldn't have arrived, not only did foothills contact me by phone to offer the opportunity to refund that, they then arranged alternative delivery method, direct from paramo! Superb service.

I once again had a chat with the nice and friendly staff of Foothills and took advanage of their knowlege of Paramo clothing. Previously, a younger chap advised me a while ago on the fit of the Adventure Light trousers which was spot on.
The another person spoke with about Cascada 2 trouser also got it right with the trouser sizing too, Paramo, unfortunately, do not have any consistency in their sizing, and these chaps were able to help with their experience with Paramo gear.
Ordered Friday, trousers arrived Tuseday morning, great service and good prices too.
My new trousers fit well with just a little extra space to "grow a little", so thanks go to everyone at Foothills..THANK YOU!
