Footium is an online multiplayer football management game where you own and run a real club, not a rented one. Pick your club, build your squad, set your tactics and go head to head against thousands of other managers in live matches, every single day. We built Footium for people who grew up playing football manager games and always wished they could take it further: a club that is genuinely yours, an academy that produces the next generation of your first team, a stadium you can grow over time, and a transfer market where every deal is between real managers. You can jump straight in and try the game for free as a caretaker, and go from there by playing well, scouting smart and managing your squad properly. Footium runs in your browser at footium.club, with a companion app on iOS for live scores and matchday alerts. Season after season we have kept adding to the game: new competitions, deeper club-building systems, a rebuilt match engine and constant balance work based on what our community tells us matters. We are a small team based in London, building Footium since February 2021, and we read every piece of feedback our managers send us. Every season is a step further towards the football management game we always wanted to play ourselves. Own your club. Build your squad. Compete for real.

THE GAME

The GAME is great, I love all but one thing. You have to get rid of players only being available on OPENSEA and not in TRANSFER market. I've played for three seasons and still haven't figured it out. Fortunately you don't need it at the lower levels, I just use the TRANSFER Market.

A really refreshing take on football management

Such a unique concept. Owning your own football club and making the decisions that shape its future is something I’ve never experienced anywhere else.

The game is really engaging – you take on the role of an owner, making key decisions on things like transfers, finances, staffing and the overall direction of your club, while competing against other real owners. It strikes a great balance between strategy and football, and it’s genuinely exciting seeing your club develop over time.

The community is brilliant too, and it’s clear the team behind Footium really care about building something different. If you’re a football fan looking for something a bit unique, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Addictive game

Addictive game. Feel like I’m managing a real club. Making decision on buying players, bringing through academy players and setting formation and mentality in game.

The Discord server is always a hive of activity and the team are very responsive .

Fun game and community

Although I’m not a massive football fan I have this a go after it was recommended and it’s all about strategy which made it really fun for me. The fact that you can win money of your do well is awesome too! And the community around it and regular updates by email are all really great too.

Great engaging social game

I've really enjoyed playing Footium. It's a football manager game that combines strategy with competition, and the chance to move up leagues. Building your club and competing against other managers all over the world keeps the game engaging, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys football management strategy games.
