I would like to give a 0 review as 1…

I would like to give a 0 review as 1 star is to much, I ordered parts giving them the correct part no to help I was told 7 day to get them in, they arrived incorrect and was informed parts not for my vehicle, they sent a diagram showing the parts so I gave them the same part no as before and was told 2 days on the day of delivery, I called to make sure all was good and was told I hadn't made payment of which I had and was given confirmation at the time of ordering, I had to forward this to get parts delivered on the second run to then receive the parts damaged. I like to add this is a work vehicle so really important to have on the road.

Thé worst place to deal with

I have had multiple disappointing experiences with Parts Plus, and I feel it’s important to share this so others can make an informed decision before purchasing from them.
Before Christmas, I bought AdBlue as a gift and specifically mentioned this to the staff member serving me. At no point was I informed that they have a no-refund policy on liquids. This only became apparent later, which I believe should have been clearly explained at the time of purchase.
More recently, at the end of January, I ordered another part through them. I was told it would arrive the following day around midday and that I could collect it then. I went in at approximately 3pm, only to be told the part hadn’t arrived. Despite having my contact number, nobody called to inform me of the delay. I had to make an unnecessary second trip the next day, and no apology was offered for the inconvenience or wasted time.
When I collected the part, I specifically asked whether it could be returned if it remained unopened and unused. I was clearly told this would not be a problem. However, when I later attempted to return it—just 12 days after purchase—I was told it could not be accepted because it had been specially ordered. When I challenged this, the explanation then changed to a supposed 7-day return policy, which had never been mentioned previously.
Overall, the information provided by staff has been inconsistent and appears to change to suit the situation. Policies are not explained upfront, and customer service has been poor. Prices are also not particularly competitive, so I would strongly recommend shopping around before buying from Parts Plus.

Rang up Parts plus for a part for a customer on 2nd December 2024 to be told be delivered 5-7 working days waited 7 days not part arrived, rang them back to find out where it is to be told i got told wrong parts coming from Germany takes 7 - 10 days so 10th day came no part rang them again and got told its left Germany so be another 3-5days after that time waited no part arrived rang back to be told don't know when it will arrive and couldn't give a time scale when it could be. Asked to speak to manger didn't care less not even a sorry i had been told these different days and sorry for how long you have waited. This isn't the first time it has happened to us. we run a MOT & Service center we tell the customers what Parts Plus tells us and were the ones dealing with the customer to try and repair the cars as soon as possible for them.

My partner rang and ordered some MK3…

My partner rang and ordered some MK3 focus centre caps for alloy wheels from parts plus in Warrington. We were quoted a price when we first inquired and were given a price of £6.06 each.
We then rang again on Thursday to confirm they still had stock and re confirm the cost. We explained we would be there on Saturday to collect.

Arrived on Saturday and the price had increased to £6.92 each. When I asked for an explanation I was told there had been a price increase ?
!!! 14.5% !!! IN 3 DAYS !!!

They could not care less, no apology so we took our refund and left, would NEVER use this company again for Ford parts.

And it is strange because as a company you don't know who you are taking to. My partner is a director for the Ford RS owners club, the biggest Ford RS owners club in the world with members all across the UK and Europe and as far as America and Australia. I myself am the senior registrar for the same club and deal with every kind of Ford RS, yes even the one that sold for over half a million pounds only last year.

But hey, who cares about customer service and what extra business some customers who are only spending a few pounds could put your way !

Your loss Parts Plus. not ours :)

Salisbury parts plus van ,driver face down while driving while on his mobile ,through Bridgwater , even though he had one attached to the dashboard of the van .
Contacted the company - no response,
Obviously not interested in the slightest about their dangerous drivers .
Reading other reviews regarding their drivers I am not surprised in the slightest,
I would not use this company.

Parts Plus Bristol

Parts Plus Bristol. The gentleman behind the desk was very friendly and polite but painfully slow, he often disappeared for several minutes at a time. I had 2 customers in front of me, one almost finished yet l was there for over half an hour.

Avoid Parts plus Alperton at all cost

Parts plus Alperton is the worst ever experience in car parts shopping that you can have. Absolutely awful customer service with no respect to customer. The staff are totally not professional and don't have enough knowledge about the parts. They ordered the wrong part twice costing me a fortune with the mechanic. There's no manager in the branch to complain to. Avoid at all cost.

Ford service kit on line

I ordered a Ford service kit for my Ford Focus in advance of the service. Picking the kit on line seemed very simple, model and engine type. It arrived in time and I booked my car in to my local garage for fitting. The garage fitted the plugs, oil filter and sump plug, but the air filter and cabin filter were clearly the wrong items. I then spent months emailing customer services to exchange the incorrect parts. Bottom line...its my fault for not returning the whole un-used kit, but as an act of good faith, they would give me 10% off if I spent another £50 with them. What would you do?

0 out of 5 if that was possible

Where do we start? Took over an hour to order a brake calliper , the. Payment would not go through, finally made payment @10am for next day delivery . 4pm the following day still no part. Called the centre (20 mins wait) .told me hadn’t received payment? I had received a pay made invoice 24 hours beforehand!! Some one had got the order numbers wrong and part hadn’t been ordered!!! Still waiting on phone call from centre manager. No part yet, having to source a replacement vehicle for my customer as need van for work( at my expense) .I have never ever dealt with such a disorganised and poorly run company. Would like to know who I can contact as it looks like this whole episode is going to cost our business a lot of time and money to sort as you can’t seem to supply parts ( strange as that is your core business!!!!)
UPDATE 07/06/2022:
Finally received the part on the 6th June , still no phone call from the centre manager, then to top it all off received another one today!!
So obviously Ford parts uk are like buses, nothing then 2 come along at once.

Useless

Absolutely useless when you do eventually get hold of them! Half the parts they don't have a clue about even when using ford part names.

Poor Service or complete lack of Service

Today (28/3/22) I called Parts Plus Cardiff...on hold for 18 mins (which is not the easiest on a mobile) during the call I recieved an email informing me their phone systems were down and would be down for days and to contact them by e-mail. I sent my e-mail enquiry within 5 minutes as the customer is bringing their car in for repair on Thursday and if the parts were not available I could contact my customer at the earliest opportunity (take note PP)...no reply whatsoever all day so I called them again last thing in the hope that somebody in this multi million pound business would have the sense to divert the number to a phone that worked and to my utter surprise the call was answered...they had diverted to a staff members mobile. I was informed that not only were the phones not working but their entire stock systems were down for at least 3 days...now call me cynical but have we heard the last of PartsPlus ??
No great loss..as when they took over from our local Ford main dealer (Newport Ford) for parts they also took away any trade discounts earned...in our case a loyal customer of 20+ years.

Would leave a 0 star review if I could…

Would leave a 0 star review if I could maybe even negative. 7-10 days quoted to be told on day 14 that the parts on back order for 4 weeks. Get to week 4 that's another 5 working days which really means another 2 weeks. No notification other than the day it was meant to arrive. Its a cam shaft not a unique part. And it's on the latest model. Realistically it has majorly affected my ability to do my job and they don't care so some courtesy of being informed at any point instead of giving false information would have been at least some customer service so at my own expense I could have made alternative solutions.

Manager at Edinburgh PartsPlus has no people skills at all. Rude, abrasive, confrontational and lacking any decorum needed for dealing with customers. Save your time and just use a Ford main dealer.
