We made a reservation in Café 't…

We made a reservation in Café 't Blaauwhooft in Amsterdam for 31/12 dinner.
The restaurant was closed even if we received the same day a remind from this reservation system.
The day after, although we could not have our dinner, we received a mail to give a review 😡

Works but mediocre UX

Poorly structured from the customer perspective

1. if your preferred date is already fully booked (let´s say friday 8pm) they automatically offer you an alternative (tuesday noon), but this is difficult to spot. So it happened to me several times to inadvertently make a booking on the wrong date and then obviously had a no show. This feature is simply annoying

2. there is no way to filter for "next available date for an 8pm slot" - you need to click through every day, which is a pain if the restaurant is sought after

Otherwise works fine. But for restaurants which are frequently fully booked this is a poor choice
