Would have given 0 if i could good luck to you if you try to buy or try to sell a property with them ! PS you must be joking less i have to do with you lot the better.

They are not a reliable company and will say anything to shut you up, if that does not work you get the silent treatment.Just avoid at all costs.

This is such a friendly, personable company and a joy to go through my home-buying process with. Lily, Lottie and Ben set the gold standard for service!

If I could, I would give ZERO star to Fortis. I purchased an apartment of Northill at Furness Quay, Salford from Fortis group with expected completion in Q1-2020. There was a more than 2 years' delay in completion, Fortis asked buyers to settle the account balance in May 2022 and handed over the properties when the drains were not connected, construction work on communal area is still on and on-site gym won't be fitted until next year.
I purchased a furniture pack from Fortis which should be delivered before 12th July. Despite my repeated requests, emails and calls to Carl/Barry of Fortis to deliver and install furniture for my Apartment, Carl/Barry did not respond and his phone could never be connected. In fact, Fortis wrote to buyers and asked for an additional GBP1k (a ransom!) before furniture delivery. I refused to pay this ransom and no furniture is delivered as of now. As the deadline for Fortis to install purchased furniture has expired for 3 weeks, I informed Fortis to cancel my order for furniture and asked for a full refund for the furniture and a compensation for missing equipment by 30th July 2022. Again, Fortis ignores my request for refund and not reply emails. Some other buyers paid for the ransom but still no delivery of furniture.
My letting agent has provided a snagging report to Fortis but they said they have no manpower to attend to snagging. Search YouTube videos and you will hear more bad comments about Fortis and scandal about its projects in Furness Quay and other places.
I purchased Northill Apartment via a broker/agent, Knight Knox (UK)/AP Assets (Hong Kong) and was told that Fortis is reliable. Unfortunately, this is all wrong! Knight Knox and AP Assets have not given any help to resolve my disputes with Fortis.

Recently sold a property with fortis. Within days of going on market had multiple asking price offers. Team negotiated a sale above asking price. Excellent service. Very pleased.

Super impressed by the service I received from Richard at Fortis. (Above and beyond comes to mind) Richard is professional, Informative, Helpful and is full of passion. His market knowledge is spot on. Thank you for all your help you are an asset to Fortis. Highly recommend.

In such uncertain times it is a breath of fresh air to find someone as professional, hardworking and dedicated as Fortis branch manager Richard Willis. You would never believe he took over just before the pandemic as he has hit the ground running. Richard is very smart, extremely attentive and his property knowledge is second to none. Vendors, buyers, potential tenants and landlords alike will be very hard pushed to find someone who will work harder for them.

I recently decided that I need something to look forward too and make the next step in my life - get my own place. I contacted a few agencies but they were all terrible but then I came across Fortis. Anyone that is planning on moving use these guys! I spoke with Richard Willis about a property that I saw but unfortunately it had gone really quick but he told me that he would do his best in finding me another property. That’s exactly what he did and was in touch with me constantly (whereas other agencies just ignored me!). I finally have a property within 2 weeks of seeing it and moving in. Richard Willis was amazing and I am so glad that I dealt with everything through him! Very professional, says what he means, on the ball and a very nice guy to speak with! Definitely ask for him if you plan to go with Fortis properties!

After 5 years of managing my rental property, I decided it was time to sell. I had a word with Leanne Smith and she organised a solicitor and a valuation. she was very professional and got me a very fair price. Before I knew it we were in lockdown. Through no ones fault I was not expecting anything to happen for some time. A short time later, I got a call from Richard Willis, who told me the staff had been furloughed but he had become manager of the branch and he would be dealing with me. Before I knew it my property was sold. Great job Leanne Smith and Richard Willis

I would like to write a review about the new Branch Manager Richard Willis. Although we are not ready to market our property. Throughout the furlough period Richard has remained in constant contact updating on what the market is doing and how best to proceed during this difficult time. He is knowledgeable, professional and I can see why Fortis Properties hired him. I look forward to Richard selling our home when the pandemic is over. Nice to meet a positive friendly agent for a change!

After a very hard few weeks Leanne has literally been a diamond helping me secure a family home to move in to! Leanne was always on the end of the phone Willing to help and support me at any time, if busy she made sure she contacted me straight back.
Leanne is an asset to Fortis Properties, so professional and helpful.

August 2019 I applied for a single bed flat. I had a bad credit rating from my student years, I was sure to enquire about how the credit will affect my applicaton, and was told "It shouldn't be a problem".

The application process is then handled by a system called GoodLord. As usual these systems further skim over details and ask you to click various checkboxes.

I failed the credit assessment and to my shock my £300 deposit was kept. I understand if this was a £50 admin fee but this was the entire deposit. I originally made a similar review but took it down hoping it would be resolved. I asked for the paperwork that stated my deposit would be kept via email and never got a response.

I am on a very good wage, so two months later, I bought out a 6 month contract with another letting agency just to be safe, it went without a problem.

I had Fortis properties out to value my property in Lisvane last week.
The branch manager Leanne was extremely professional and answered all of my questions surrounding a future sale.
I will not hesitate to use this company when the time is right for me. The professional photography is second to none and I confidently know will add value to my property once it’s reached the open market.

By far and away the worst lettings agency I’ve ever dealt with. Every member of staff I dealt was unhelpful, rude and lazy. From reading other reviews this is clearly a common perception. Would never rent a property from them again and would stress to anyone to avoid Fortis. Not worth the hassle.

From start to finish, every interaction I had with their staff was plagued by ignored emails, unhelpful responses and a complete of care for tenants.

Dealing with the branch manager Leanne after viewing a property.The poor attitude was evident in person at the viewing so there should be no surprise this extended to calls not being returned / avoided and an all round bad experience which i won't be forgetting in a hurry.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never in my whole life dealt with such a terrible company. I don't know if it was personal towards us, but myself and my old housemate have been treated with nothing but disrespect. Our phone calls were never returned, I've even been on the phone to them and have been reassured (by Leanne who is one of them who have lied to my face many times) that they would be calling my housemate that minute to sort something extremely important, come off the phone, to have them not ring my housemate all day and we had to get back in contact, once again, with them. When moving out of the property, they came to check the house, told us complete lies about how we would receive the bond saying that my half would need to be given to me by my housemate. This turned out to be a complete lie as I received a call from my landlord this week to say that it still needs to be sorted and he needed to come over to check the house and then if all fine release the bond to me. They fabricated damage apparently done by our pet, when in fact they said nothing to us at the property about asking us about what the (minimal) damage was from (it had happened naturally and was nothing to do with our pet). When originally moving in to the property, we were treated with complete rudeness on the phone, when my housemate was taken around the property (as I saw it before he did), the person who showed him around (Claire - I don't know if she still works there as haven't dealt with her since we moved in) looked him up and down and was utterly rude to him. Myself and my housemate have never been anything but polite, kind and honest, we've never caused any issues, we only asked to be given correct information, our phone calls to be returned and to be treated with the respect that we have given. I will never deal with Fortis Properties ever again I will stay as far away from them as possible. Honestly I cannot stress how utterly disgusting and terrible they have been to deal with. I'm never one to leave reviews but I actually couldn't cope with the level of unprofessionalism I have dealt with dealing with this company. Avoid it like the plague.

Very professional been dealing with lady called Leanne who is highly knowledgeable on surrounding area with plenty of good advice. This lady really knows her way around Cardiff and I have to say always returns my calls even when I call several times a day.

Excellent personal service with very knowledgeable staff.
