Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 182 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found the game to be buggy and full of glitches, with frequent freezing and lagging, especially after updates. Customers also reported issues with the product itself, including poor graphics, unplayable weapons, and an overall decline in game quality. The app experience was often criticized for disconnections and a lack of original content, with many feeling that the game has become repetitive and uninspired. Additionally, many felt that the pricing model for game passes was unfair, as it no longer allowed for a truly free-to-play experience. Some people were dissatisfied with the presence of cheaters and hackers, which they felt negatively impacted the quality of gaming. Reviewers also mentioned problems with customer support, particularly regarding account access and the redemption system for V-bucks, which was described as inflexible. A few other people also felt that the game's matchmaking system was unbalanced, leading to frustrating experiences with teammates and unfair skill-based matchups.

Find a better game,

As an Unreal-ranked player, I gave up on this game after seven years. There’s too much IP nobody asked for, too much “fixing” of things that aren’t broken, and too little attention to the real issues—like cheating. Instead, they just pretend to address those problems through communication.

The in-game currency is overpriced, and the game still feels like it’s in the alpha phase even after more than eight years. The community is extremely toxic, and the main business model revolves around fear of missing out, burning money, and poor management.

This game earned $6 billion for Epic Games in 2025 alone, yet they burned through it and are still raising prices. Why? Because they can. There are no real regulatory boundaries—or very few. Maybe there are some here in Europe, but not in the US. They can get away with all the rubbish they do.

Cheating is so widespread that it completely ruins games in almost all modes.

V-bucks are way over-priced for virtual…

V-bucks are way over-priced for virtual toys. This is just a classist rip off. Not to even mention how unfair and elitest Fortnite is. Ordinary players are being used as target by better players and by cheaters. Epic does little to ensure the games are fair for all players. There's little or no accountability and these Big Gaming corprations have formed a cartel which is keeping prices artificially high.

There is no tutorials for new players

There is no tutorials for new players . No tips or hints everything you have to learn yourself but the worst part from the first games you get matched against experienced players so you get destroyed constantly and there is no fun to learn like that . The game is very buggy some chest wont open . Some windows bugs out so you can’t go through. Overall experience is terrible will be deleting this game soon

Fortnite Issues

Played Fortnite since it's release in 2017, Enjoyed the game a lot and still somewhat do to this day but I am still so frustrated at all the bugs that still persist such as glitching into the floor while sliding, Play button stops working when trying to find a lobby, sounds issues where sound settings either change for no reason or just completely bug out mid game and you loose all your volume, it even stretches to the Enforcer AR that is currently in the game, I'll be holding the gun shooting it and then all of a sudden you can't hear the gun shoot then the whole sound of the game dies. I just don't get with the big team at Epic Games how they still don't have a dedicated team to fix all of these issues, not only for the players but for the content creators too as these issues effect all players.

It would be pretty amazing if you add…

It would be pretty amazing if you add Monster High. Being able to play with our childhood characters would be so much fun. Being able to still enjoy our childhood in another format. With adding skins like clawdeen, a many other characters would be so fun. I spend a lot of money on skins and adding that to our collections of skins would be soo coool.

This is such a stupid game

This is such a stupid game. I’ve been playing for awhile and not suddenly all the guns are good, bad players can kill with gray guns and the maps suck. Everyone’s either too good because all the guns are op or their bad

the resident evil skins?? tf???

i have been playing fortnite for quite literally the majority of my life, on and off but that doesn't matter. When i heard that the resident evil skins, upon many others were coming to the game, or returning i got back into it. With the release of requiem, its gotten many of us excited for these skins, but upon my dismay when yesterday's item shop reset, it was only grace ashcroft????

epic games, are you serious. Dead ass, like genuinely serious?? I know you're a money hungry company, but releasing grace ashcroft by herself, when she's in a game with leon kennedy, the man himself for literally the success of the resident evil franchise, HE COULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST INCLUDED.

don't even get me started on releasing her without her own section in the item shop, epic games you've fumbled the bag monumentally.

sincerely, an angry man whomst spent too much on your sorry ass game.

They’re constantly rewarding bad…

They’re constantly rewarding bad players with guns that help them more. Not the “oh you get more ammo and better aim assist.” There’s a “lock on” gun that’s literally just aimbot. It was one thing with the lightning gun but the aimbot stuff is so frustrating because you lose to someone that needs aimbot just for them to not win anyway. They need to stop rewarding bad players.

I'm truly disgusted with epic games

I'm truly disgusted with epic games, my son and I played fortnite regularly like I mean daily for my son and we have bought tons of merchandise, skins ECT .. I log on today to find all my skins have been taken, all my gear has been taken, my sons skins all gone all his gear gone and even took some vbucks from him. You guys have really been screwing this game up and now you go and take everything that we purchased legit. Then I read if you got a message from epic or Microsoft which I never did then they may have taken some back. There was no reason to take all my stuff and now we are deleting the game, we no longer want to support epic you scumbags
