Looks good and easy to set up and a…

Looks good and easy to set up and a clear picture but even though ive had communication with customer services/help the floodlight camera will not send notifications snd now they now ignore my emails and i get no replies. Ended up with an expensive dual floodlight that seems to be on more than off. Avoid at all costs

JUNK - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

JUNK, OK so loging in and updating the software was always difficult even on a good day. But now - it does not work at all. So my 7 cameras are rendered not accessible. The VMS software is a pile of cack. This is supposed to be a user friendly system, someone is smoking funny cigarettes if they think that.
So to summarise you cant access the cameras at all!!!

Terrible Customer Service

I've been buying Foscam cameras for some years, and their online support had always been good.
But something has changed, and their online support is now non-existent.
Even when I wrote to them, and Jamie at Foscam made arrangements to be available at certain times, they're not there, and leave me hanging on their support line.
It's a shame as I need to buy several more cameras, so maybe it's time to start phasing out Foscam. Other products are always available.

Old Foscam cameras Relabled to con customers - Beware

I purchased Foscam cameras eight years ago and the model number is FI9900P. The NVR kit that is advertised as Foscam FN7104W and the advert does not indicate that the camera Kit is supplied with four old FI9900W cameras, which is just the same model with a different sticker on it. The specification of the FI9900P is exactly the same as the one I just purchased at 1080p and anyone would be under the impression that the cameras purchased would be more advanced than something I purchased eight years ago. The invoice provided for this order does not state the old camera model number's purchased, it just shows the kit reference which is disingenuous. Beware of this old stock being portrayed as new stock.

When I complained I was told a load of codswallop. I requested a full refund and was told some rubbish about software loaded on a hard drive just so the company could keep £20. I have to say that a company selling old stock with new labels on it is disgusting and I have to let potential customers know the pitfalls of dealing with Foscam Uk. Beware as they make their own rules up for returns policy, for this reason, I will never ever purchase from this company again.

I wouldn’t call it a camera-:) This…

I wouldn’t call it a camera-:) This product never works as I have it for more than three years always error and hard to connect specially when you are out of your house, always takes long time with few errors then reconnects etc.I paid 250 pound for it but never been satisfied with it in many aspects, Strongly recommend this product need to be removed from the market as it never work as it should!

Don't buy unless you have a PhD in Advanced electronics.

The PC software may be ok, but I've not got it to work well enough without crashing. The manual is dreadful, explaining in great detail things a 3 year old would understand, but then not giving any detail about anything useful. What is 'patrol time'? What is the 'Trigger Interval'? etc, etc. Given the time the cameras have been available surely a half decent manual could have been written by now, rather than one by CCTV geeks for CCTV nerds.

AVOID FO-SCAM!

I have purchased CCTV set with 4 cameras.
After over 1 year with e-mails and sent twice the CCTV cameras to FOSCAM. I’m still unable to connect cameras wirelessly and can’t use the product. Straight to the bin outside.They don’t care!

I bought PTZ camera

I bought PTZ camera. First is working fine, but released new software updates is RUBBISH!!!!!
Not working properly, full with bug, so now soon hardware without good software?????

If something working fine why, downgrade?????

Don't get caught by Foscam misleading advertising.

On the Foscam website it is stated that all cameras come with 8 hours free cloud storage for life. For me that was the main reason for purchase as I'd rather pay more initially but avoid any periodic payments which build up to a huge amounts over a long run. What a surprise it was when I installed the cameras and then found out that it is outdated information and I'm only entitled for 1 month free... The advisor told me that they apologize for the mistake and will remove misleading information from the website immediately. 1 month free trial expired today and when I checked the subscription options available information about 8h free cloud storage is still there but you can't order it.

The worst thing you will ever waste…

The worst thing you will ever waste your money on. I can not tell you how dreadful they are. I bought three, more fool me. Lucky if one works at any one time. The only thing these are fit for is filling the refuse bin with !!
At least you can warm your hands when you set fire to your money. Dont touch them with a barge pole

I have had these cameras installed for…

I have had these cameras installed for about a month and they give good images but now I cannot access my account on line to see the cameras. There is no password reset so I called technical assistance and the guy there was not a technician and couldn't help me. I left my phone number but so far nobody has called back. I am starting to wonder if the company is still operating or in trouble. I hope I haven't wasted my money and certainly wouldn't buy from them again if they are still in business.

CAMERA IS FINE SUPPORT ARE RUBBISH

The cameras are ok, not for the faint hearted, however the software leaves a lot to be desired, firmware upgrades that prevent your camera from operating correctly, the alignment of the lens been one of them, after numerous complaints with there so call support Department they still did not resolve the issue and do another firmware release. I am not impressed with there firmware releases at all, not am I impressed with there so called support Department.I will not be buying foscam again after sales support is important and this business simply let you down drastically.

I purchased a new FI9928P camera for …

I purchased a new FI9928P camera for over $300. It is their newest and most expensive camera. Less than two months later the camera just died. I called customer service and got the usual excellent service where a technician logged on to my computer right then, troubleshot the camera and said it was in need of replacement....then the zhit show started. Day after day of oblivious ridiculousness. I call and they promise to take care of it, no one to actually talk to that can help just someone that can send an email to whoever "might" fix the issue... over and over and over. Days on end of calling and emailing I finally get an email and THEY WANT ME TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING?!?!?!?!?!?
I blew a gasket!
This company makes products that are awesome but the basement in Indonesia where the customer service is...is literally a joke!
You are better off with no cameras...get robbed, at least you won't have a heart attack dealing with these imbeciles~!

Appalling customer support.

Paid over £130 for one of their HD cameras. The wifi interface keeps freezing up. Have contacted them via their website & direct email 5 days ago. No auto-reply or anything. Looking at trading standards protection I have as a consumer, as no one can waste hours trying to get something fixed. Everything I have read online seems to suggest their support is terrible. Will update if I ever get a reply.

WORST CUSTOMER I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DEAL WITH!!

Beware if you buy one of these camera's and need to contact them for anything on the technical side then just forget it. I have tried to call them over the last three days that's right three days and every time i get through to the automated voice it comes up saying your call is important to us, and then it tells you that you are caller number 28 in line and the average wait is 29 minuets, 29 minuets!! what a joke.

The best thing i can advise is to go and get a camera from elsewhere and check there support phone line to see how good they are first before you waste your money on a useless company like FOSCAM.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS I WOULD GLADLY DO IT.
