Say it's in stock when it's not
I ordered a pool cleaner off of fountain pools. It was priced well and they said they had 4 in stock. Five days later nothing had arrived and my order was still marked as awaiting dispatch.
I called them up and found out that the item wasn't in stock and that they periodically ordered pallets of pool cleaners from Europe. I pointed out that the item was marked as on stock; they had no answer to this as it was plainly not.
I've given them 2 stars because they gave me a refund pretty quickly and, had I been willing to wait I'm sure I would have got the cleaner at a good price.
But they lost three stars for saying they had stock when they plainly did not.
