When I first established my HELOC last year their electronic banking capability was somewhat adequate, albeit a bit confusing. Recently Fourleaf undertook a bizarre systems overhaul which place the company squarely in the 1980s. Barely. Example: if you want to draw funds from your HELOC you have to write a check to yourself and deposit this check into your checking account using their mobile app. I haven't actually tried this process but I suspect it is riddled with restrictions such as limitations on the amounts that you can deposit and withdraw and probably delays in posting these transactions. So the HELOC has incredibly low liquidity. And their customer service has degraded tremendously. Example: they have separate customer service for their loans and for their regular banking. I would stay away from this credit Union.

This is a Credit Union, and has the worst savings rates I have ever seen. They recently changed the platform for their mortgage products, and made it very difficult to make automated payments and access your line of credit. The bill pay service has no export facility for scheduled payments so you have to write the amounts down and add them with a calculator like its 1970. The representatives are very good and professional, but some are ill informed and provide bad information.

I started when this company was Beth page for a HELOC. We had ACH auto payments set up. A copule of months ago they switched everything over to a new company. All of a sudden, our auto payments disappeared, we never received any payments in the mail, but started getting notices that we were behind on payments! When we called in they couldn’t even tell us what was owed and told us we had to wait until their website updated in July. The said we got mailings and it was our fault. Tried that once it came onboard and couldn’t find our account. Then calling in they are “experiencing high call volume today” they try to push you again to the website. Still on hold...Seriously regret going with this company. I would choose just about any other company for a HELOC

I opened a HELOC with (at the time was BethPage) in 2024, and had already had some negative experiences, (they worked very hard to ensure that I wouldn't get the teaser rate on the HELOC - too many hoops to jump through). However, their recent 'upgrade' essentially removed all online access to the accounts that you have with them. You can't electronically transfer from a HELOC or even a savings account anymore. It's all now done via paper, like it's 1980. That is not my idea of an 'upgrade'. I need to get paper withdrawal slips for the savings account that I have with them, as that's the only way the money can be withdrawn. Same for HELOC. Knowing this now, I'd never choose them, as they are making giant leaps backwards.

They’ve made all kinds of changes to their HELOCS that are to the customer’s disadvantage.
Now there’s no way in their payment portal to indicate that a payment, or portion thereof, should be directed to principal. So they’re applying the ENTIRE amounts to interest. Customer service is calling it a “glitch” in their system. I call it criminal!
Worst of all, there is now very limited access to our HELOC funds. No more online transfers!! We can get to our money only by writing ourselves or someone else a HELOC check!!! (And then waiting days for it to clear!). RIDICULOUS! We should have immediate access to our funds somehow!!! They took away all of our transfer options.😡
They’re a joke of a bank and I regret opening a HELOC with them.

About a year ago, I got a home equity loan with BethPage FCU. I set up automatic payments and received a discount for setting up the automatic payments. Recently, Fourleaf FCU acquired BethPage. In early July, I received a notice that my payment was over due. This is the first time i had heard of such an issue. I emailed Fourleaf several times, letting them know that I had automatic payments set up, so that if there was a problem, it was on their end and not mine. Fourleaf basically blew me off and then subsequently reported my late payments to the credit reporting agencies, which I found out about today. I have excellent credit, and I have worked hard to ensure that I do. Fourleaf has affected my credit and reported a negative event that was not my fault.

The teller helped me with exchanging some bills while I was waiting to be seen by an account representative. After the small transaction, she said I didn’t need to wait and that she could help me with my auto payment paperwork. She made it really quick, friendly and convenient. Nice to go somewhere where they don’t treat their clients like an inconvenience. Great job.

Their website is very antiquated and hard to use, i have late fees on my account as i was out of work and can not pay the fees with the account i have on file with them. had to open a saving account with them and put $50 in it and money is gone from my account but no new saving account. Why make it so difficult to pay??? its 2025 pay someone to get your website up to par. horrible experience may sell my truck to not deal with the lame duck company

I do not recommend this bank will charge you so many fees without notice!! Especially since they changed the name and the policies! Bank somewhere else if you can!! I will be closing my account after 2 years of banking with them. I called to get my issue resolved with management and they hung up the phone on me. I won’t be banking anywhere where the customer service is rude and cannot resolve issues for customers.

I met with Lakshya Kumar. He was very knowledgeable of the transactions I needed to perform when I met with him. Furthermore, he was aware of a CD rate change that was available on the first day of May. Unlike other banks, he confirmed my POA on file and reminded me if I wanted a beneficiary on my new account. He was also much quicker processing my transactions than I have experienced at other financial institutions.
