overall pleased with the equipment…
I am overall pleased with the equipment and service. Service team performed a remote upgrade for my inverter which worked well. I did have a technical issue which required an equipment item to be replaced. There was an unsatisfactory delay in response but once engaged Ben Humphreys persisted until it was resolved.
Lewis the best
Lewis explained everything and did all the updates. He is a credit to the company
No app connection
Had a problem with connecting onto my app discussed with Rendell who worked me through the problem which could not be resolved immediate action to issue a new inverter dongle to replace potential faulty one.

I’m a newcomer to renewable energy and fox has been my first install , it’s been completely smooth from visiting there learning centre in Coventry , to speaking to there help line and to using there materials it has been nothing but smooth sailing and a great company to work with.
I had an issue resolved by two of there engineers today (Jacob and Lewis) and they was exceptional , easy to understand , made sense of things that could be complicated and was just very knowledgeable, nothing but friendly also.
I couldn’t praise fox anymore and will only be using there company moving forward.

I’m in my early seventies now and never been much good with modern technology, so when my system started acting up I hadn’t a clue what to do, but the service team were absolutely cracking — they spoke to me clearly, never rushed me, and were patient and kind in a way you don’t often see these days, so I asked someone to help me write this because I’m not great with computers, and I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to the FoxESS team for looking after an old chap like me; if you’re thinking of using FoxESS, you’ll be in very safe hands with this lot.
excellent after care
I had an issue with a fox ess 2.6 v2 battery that had been bumped , i took it to the coventry service/training dept on monday explaining i needed it checking and inspecting, they did this and even repaired the carry handle on the front. they called me tuesday afternoon to say the battery was fine and handle repaired. what a helpful team , thankyou very much
Great Support
I'm new to FOX but recently installed storage batteries to reduce energy costs.
FOX have a good App to help with control of the system which alerted me to a Battery Management System fault. A phone call to the support line had the problem resolved promptly by accessing the install on-line by Lewis who did a great job.

Got in contact with Fox this morning concerning a problem with the app. Redell was so helpful and understanding. He reassured me that it was just an update on software which he could take care of at his end. I am just getting my head around using this and he explained everything so simply. He sorted my problem within a few hours and rung back when he said he was going to which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend as after-care is always been good.

I don't have many issues when it comes to working with Fox equipment, but when I do the tech support team are very good and this time was no different! Samantha and others I spoke to were very helpful and after being stumped with equipment that wasn't working properly, they were on the case and able to sort the issue without me even returning to site 👍🏻👍🏻 many thanks! 🙏🏻

Shocking customer service from FOX ESS
I've only had my FOX ESS inverter & 10KW battery for approx 6 months now and I'm continually losing the WiFi connection so I have no idea what the state of charge there is in the battery. Now the first few times this happened it connected to my home WiFi quite easily, but more than 3 weeks ago it lost the connection and when I carry out a scan to get the serial number, when I go to connect to the WiFi it just buffers continually and I can't do anything. When I first contacted tech support, now there's a misnomer, they asked me to try connecting to the WiFi. When I told them that I couldn't and the reason why I couldn't, they sent me a video of how to connect to the WiFi. When I responded, I asked if they had actually read my email, they would know exactly why I couldn't connect to my WiFi. Then the old nonsense comes out about following procedures and I responded with what's the point of following procedures if you know it's going to fail? Now even though my system is still under warranty, the tech is threatening to drop the case because of my unreasonable attitude. Now after having a fault for 23 days you would think they would send someone out to check it over. Not a chance, I just get requests for serial numbers etc.

So easy!
We only had our solar battery and inverter installed yesterday, so it's a bit early to comment on the difference it will make to our energy bills. However, we also had a new router installed a couple of hours later, so needed help on how to connect the app to the new router. It was so easy! Compared with reconnecting another app (which shall remain nameless) it was child's play. Samantha got back to me on WhatsApp, explained how to find the part of the app I needed, I followed the very clear instructions, and bingo! Back online! Happy days.
