Unauthorized charges after cancellation notice - Case #691713
I notified support (Case #663409) to cancel my subscription in January, yet Foxit continued to charge my card in Jan and Feb. Agent Hana acknowledged my request but still refused to refund. I've opened a formal complaint (#691713) and have been ignored for 3 days. Very disappointing service.
Do not invest your money in this company or product. The interface is not user friendly on mobile, and the signature process is arduous. I had an even worst experience with their customer service trying to rectify this. They absolutely refuse to provide refunds so it's a sunk cost. It's been a while since I've been this disappointed in a product.
I had purchased Foxit Phantom PDF in 2019. It was quite expensive at the time for what it did. But it turned out to be an indispensable piece of software. I never upgraded it. It did everything I needed it to do without any issues. Never crashed. I used it to convert PDF docs back to Excel or MS Word.
I then decided to upgrade my PC from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. This was basically a new computer. But I needed to remove the licence from the old system and move it over to the new one. I could not load the old version into Windows 11. I noticed that much of Foxit software is now sold as SaaS (Software as a Service) rather than permanent licence. I really wanted to reuse what I had. As a long shot I contacted Foxit Support and explained my dilemma and provided evidence of my licence. They responded overnight with a link to download the software, and removed the licence from my Windows 10 installation. I followed the link and downloaded and installed the software on my new Windows 11 PC without any issues. Excellent service, even though I was out of warranty. Thank you Foxit.com

each time i try to annotate the pdfs with text, it freezes.
In general, Foxit is a really good PDF reader with lots of useful tool. However, after the latest update PDF signing experience got worse. It might be more correct now, but I don't need this functionality. Now other PDF readers struggle to see my signature and Foxit doesn't allow to overwrite the original document once it is signed. This is a deal breaker for me.
