Not very pleased. Bought a Jumper which had the hem coming apart. Emailed three times to sales and no response. Very good on price but let down by follow up if a problem arises.

I urgently needed a replacement ensign delivered in time for an event in two days time. I wrote in my order notes that I really needed it delivered next day to arrive in time. Once I submitted my order online, I got a phone call within 30 minutes from Lizzie to say they had seen my order note and were dispatching it by APC Overnight guarenteed next day, and to call them right back if any issues at all. And within minutes after that phone call I got a shipping confirmation with tracking number. Absolutely wonderful service!!
The phone call was a really nice touch since I was a bit apprehensive whether I would get it in time. Thank you Lizzie! I will certainly be using Fox's Chandlery again!!
Ordered three trudesign fittings, contacted to be told one was out of stock - would I like two dispatched immediately, and the third dispatched when it was back in stock, to which I said yes please. Two arrived, contacted Fox's about the third a couple of weeks later and then again a week after that. No reply to emails and completely ignored by Fox's chandlery.
I ordered a product on line from Foxes 8 weeks ago. It was listed as being in stock. I paid for it and waited. 3 weeks later - no comms and nothing had arrived. I wrote to them to query. 2 days later, with no response, I got an order cancellation from their system - no comms as to why. I then chased them for an explanation which was something waffely about a miscommunication, followed by a refund. We were 5 weeks in at this point.
I then got an email from someone saying how sorry they were and that it was 'their fault'. They would send me the item for free as a good will gesture.
1 month further on again and guess what - nothing! No comms, no item.
I wrote to them again saying that even their customer recovery was pants and that I was very disappointed. I had a quick response from yet another person who was now 'taking responsibility' and that is was their suppliers fault! They offered to send the item for free again - I told them not to bother - life is too short.
My recommendation - don't buy from Foxs Chandlery.
Fast postage to off UK island. Only took 48 hours. Helpful and a good price.
Ordered products online for my boat and paid the same day for these items only to receive a phone call the next day to say they was out of stock, so why did they allow me to purchase these items when.l out of stock. Also paid for a 2 day delivery that would of not happened due to being out of stock. Also did not recive my refund straight away. Found another supplier with cheaper prices and free delivery.
Contacted the rigging department twice for advice and a quote for a inner forestay fitting, they don't even bother to come back with a quote or advice, I suppose if you don't have an Oyster they just don't bother.

Endless problems with delivery shouldn't necessarily reflect badly on a retailer, but these guys managed to make a bad situation worse.
Next day delivery became a saga of misroutes, delays and poorly tracked updates. I was specifically promised a redelivery with upgraded Saturday delivery once it was already two days late, but nothing arrived. From then, I ended up dealing with 'Tom' who had a very different attitude - curtly unbothered by the delays being caused to my work, the two hours I drove to a DHL depot to no avail, despite booking collection to try and solve the problem myself - and had a dismissive, shruggy tone.
He starting texting my phone (not really what giving our numbers are for) but when I asked what compensation would be offered, I was blanked.
Their ads claim a friendly, efficient service. Well, if there's a delivery issue, good luck with that.

Bought Paint and Thinners online 1 day ago got delivered early afternoon today, must say that this was beetter than Amazon. Reasonable price and fantasticly quick service.

Placed an order for 2 Halyard Stowage Bags. Then realised I needed 2 more similar ones and sent a second order a short while later. Emailed Fox's to ask to combine orders and refund second P&p charge - no problem. Bags delivered in 2 days and P&p refunded too.
First time I have used Fox's. With this great experience I doubt it will be the last.
Ordered a Meaco dehumidifier yesterday 9thDecember. Arrived today 10th
(398 mls). Free delivery , £15 cheaper than competitors. Superb.
I have been boating for 40 years and recently used Foxs Chandlery for the first time. I can honestly say their service and prices are second to none, placed my order online and 48 hours later it was delivered. I did have a small problem with 1 of the 7 items i purchased but this was rectified immediately. I have given this company a five star rating especially for their after sales service.
Chap who does the online orders went above & beyond for me. Good service.
I recently bought a buoyancy aid from them. I called to get advice on sizing etc and they were very helpful and friendly. They also supported me with an exchange for a larger size. Thanks again!
Dreadful customer service, they totally ignore emails and won’t return my calls. I spent a great deal of money with them and received faulty goods but they will not help in any way.
They lied about postage times. Then didn't contact me when it was going to arrive a lot later- I had to call them. They gave a very ingenuous apology, even when they heard that their poor customer service had actually meant I had to cancel a whole trip as I was now without the necessary equipment.
THEN they said I'd get a refund. it's not almost a month later and I'm still fighting to get the money back- I don't have the equipment or my money?!?!
Very very poor. DOn't use.
Ordered my Corona supplies at 2.30pm, delivered the following morning. Excellent.
