Same shows from 15 years ago

They have now put the prices of packages up $7 in total and we are watching the same thing from 15 years ago! And as of August 1st they have taken mtv and nick jr off. Highly disappointing and 100% not worth the money.

Thanks for ripping people off once again.do you think people don't want to listen to 60s,70s,90s and 2000s music?the new 80s channel is a far cry from max and MTV classics.i will be unsubscribing from foxtel.the music channel is the only reason I had had it in the first place.where are people supposed to watch classic music videos now?the 80s channel isn't playing hits at all anyway.give back the music people want?

Legalised thievery

Didnt pay or resubscribe, was billed, wouldnt refund, online staff kept ignoring the online chat so it would timeout, then wouldnt respond when i would open new chats and would close it as soon as i gave my details... They then cancelled my account and wouldnt even let me access my month subscription that they wrongfully charged me.

Fuming on so many levels.

Useless!

And its now complete. No more football (round ball) on Foxtel, now that they've axed Bein Sports too, yet the pricing remains the same. Foxtel you're a disgrace. Keep up the good work.

I am extremely disappointed in Foxtel…

I am extremely disappointed in Foxtel and Foxtel Now! I have just learnt that Foxtel and Foxtel Now are two different companies. They have not provided me with any support on a billing which has literally robbed me. I requested for my billing to stop and for some reason, this request did not make it to them. I was the charged $104 the 2 days later. I then told their support staff to view their log and view my request but they said, "we don't have a log". I am incredibly disappointed because companies like Foxtel and Foxtel Now should have logs on what their user is doing like my cancellation. I then reported this to their staff and they replied with saying, 'This is not in our system.' So this means that even if someone is telling the truth, they are denied from receiving a refund which they should receive. I then realized that the company has two different support staff which only have information on issues recorded on live chat. They do not have any log onto what the user does but if that user makes a complain, this is noted. This is shameful on Foxtel as they are not interested in what their user experience is but as long as they get money in their pockets, its all fine. Other streaming services like Netflix give refunds to their customer based on how long is left. This is something which both users and the company benefit from as the user feels they are valued and the company has another customer who may come back rather than a customer leaving with a terrible experience. Foxtel has clearly done the opposite and has robbed me and doesn't intend on helping me! I am never coming back to them!

Pathetic service and Management hide behind mouth pieces who clearly have a script

We moved into a property that previous inhabitor had foxtel. We opened a new account first time using Foxtel and now they blocked our account by accident and it has been 5 days and still been given the run around by person on the phone, who refuses to put you through to their manager. Absolutely disgusting as they taking our payment and zero service.

Complete RIP off STEER AWAY

After having our service off for 18 months to renovate water damage we had it reconnected we have been home 7 weeks and we have a bill for $578.00 called to ask why and they couldn't explain then I asked to ha e disconnected as it is alllll ad after ad after ad and repeated shows and movies anyway and she told me I had to pay the 12 month contract out .... never was told about a contract never signed a contract never agreed to a contract an utter disgrace complete disregard for providing an itemised statement for the exuberant charges and now want even more to disconnect will be taking to ombudsman for sure steer clear

CORPORATE EXTORTION !

I returned my Foxtel equipment to Luddenham Post Office NSW in April 2022 and now over a year later I have received a fraudulent claim by Foxtel for $300 for property that was returned to the Post Office (Foxtel's Authorised Agent )a year ago. I have been a customer for over 20 years and they do this - seriously fcuked up Foxtel - no wonder everyone is leaving in droves and you are so frickin desperate you resort to fraud and extortion like this - DISUSTING !!! You WILL NOT RECEIVE A SINGLE CENT FROM ME EVER !!!

Thank you Foxtel for your Classics TV Channel …

Thank you foxtel for your Classics Channel. But mostly, thank you for bringing back "Steptoe and Son."
What a beautifully written, directed, and acted TV sitcom. Gut wrenchingly sad and hilarious all rolled into one..
It's the original and the best.. An emotional roller-coaster ride. First Class television viewing experience..
Please try to get Ted Turner classics back.. I used to love that channel..
And keep the 50s and 60s TV Westerns coming. I adore them.
Classic TV series suggestions.
Flipper, Lassie, Love Thy Neighbour, Flicker, Gentle Ben, Brady Bunch, Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith Show. Oh, so many wonderful quality television series, which is something missing from modern television.. Reality television brings vomit into my mouth.. I have been a Foxtel Customer since about 2000 if memory serves me correct..

I do not recommend Foxtel for T.V

I do not recommend Foxtel for T.V, phone or internet services. For well over 1 year we have been paying for a service that we were unable to use. I have called them on several occasions for them to only go through their trouble shooting script. They refuse to credit your account for the service not working. So for over a year we were paying for services we were unable to use. I recently cancelled the services to another company, but still have to pay for the T.V of $30 till the end of the billing cycle despite the T.V service not working? Nor will they reimburse us anything. Contacted the telecommunications ombudsman who redirected us to consumer affairs due to the wording on the invoice. The only reason we even got the T.V was because it came in a bundle.
Terrible service and customer service. I do not recommend Foxtel at all. There are better companies with better pricing. I had a technician come out to look into it, which I had to pay for. I was advised my internet speed was basically old school dial up speed, which makes it unusable. Given the home phone is Voip, was also unable to use the homephone given the internet does not work. Nothing worked but Foxtel does not care and never did. Even told them they expect me to pay till the end of the billing cycle for a T.V service that does not work? The worker did not care informing me of their terms of conditions. Ummm "Hello" the T.V service does not work and you still want me to pay?

foxtel has gone back 30 years

with the switch to the new iq5 my TV experience has gone back 30 years. relying on an antiquated tv arial now rather than a cable connection what a farce. And the connection to wifi is a complete shambles with the picture constantly dropping out. after all these years with foxtel there is no point in continuing and will cancel the subscription if they dont fix this

They aren't happy till your not happy.

Foxtel's motto is (from my experience) is: "We are not happy till your not happy."
Don't bother with the 131 999 they don't answer that.
Try 02 9813 6000 (2) and tell them you have a complaint. They will at least try to get you to someone who speaks English.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Very difficult to understand the people on the phone and I was told it’s my problem I can’t understand.

Every year they increase the rates with a vague message saying “rates may increase” but you don’t know how much by until you receive the bill.

Over priced, less and less sports and channels and cost goes up each year.

Ads, ads, ads, repeats, repeats, repeats, serious is this the best you can do? I can watch adverts for free on free to air if I was brainless enough to want to, as for the Irritating Answerphone when you try to ring them. These guys are Pants. Good buy Foxtel

No email facility

We have had Foxtel on for a while for TV service. Last week while I was away in the country and difficult to contact they phoned my husband and attempted to sell him a "faster NBN connection". He accepted the offer and then believing we could now use that for our emails, attempted to cancel our TPG account. He phoned TPG and tried to cancel our account but luckily they texted the access number to approve of the cancellation to MY phone. TPG then texted me and asked if I had requested this and if not would I please phone them immediately. Which I did, and thankfully put an end to any possible cancellation. I use my TPG email constantly to run a couple of businesses, several properties, service contracts, registrations, insurances, and so forth. What Foxtel DOESN'T tell you is they have no email service. They didn't tell him that. I could have been out of pocket by hundreds of dollars or more if the cancellation had gone ahead and hundreds of hours trying to re-establish my contacts. So why didn't he confirm with me first? I am sure every woman asks that question at times. I was in the country and hard to contact and he had no idea that I couldn't just change over to Foxtel for my emails. I am nonetheless furious. The potential for damage is enormous when Foxtel does not give full information about what they DO NOT provide when selling this service.
