Avoid

Avoid Tommy store in Lyon. xenophobic welcome to remind you you're not in just any store — you're in a Tommy Hilfiger branch run by someone who clearly thinks he's Tommy himself. 🙄

Dropped by for a quick look while on a call in Arabic — you know, that suspicious act of speaking a language other than French/English — when a self-important employee decided I didn’t belong and kindly invited me to leave his store. Must be nice to confuse casual racism with customer service.

Maybe he thought his name was embroidered on the brand. Spoiler alert: it’s not. But sure, let’s pretend your job description includes border control duties too.

No worries though, took my business — and my money — to Ralph Lauren next door, where apparently speaking Arabic doesn't trigger insecurity.

Email already sent to Tommy Hilfiger corporate. Hoping they take action before this guy starts asking people for passports at the fitting rooms.
