AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Bi fold doors sprayed by Adam and left flaking after coming back the second time to re do. First spray was done when it was extremely windy, asked if this would be ok and was reassured it would be fine. However, this was not the case, it had left a ripple effect. He came back to do another spray, this has already started flaking after 1week. Contact the manager, Craig who apparently lives in France. Messages completely ignored. Now having to go with someone else to have re sprayed, wish I had read the reviews on trust pilot before going with this company. AVOID.

This is a rouge company

This is a rouge company. I had my 2 door done a year ago. I wasn't happy with the job as I can't clean my doors....the spray is so rough I can't even use a sponge to clean them without the sponge being ripped to shreds. I have been in contact with Craig for at least 6 months after that...promise after promise and still not sorted the job that I paid handsomely for. This has cost me 5 days in total of NO PAY because of the time i had to take off to meet up when he promised....and then failed!!!!!!!
I write this review to let others know....Craig Lamont DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU....ONLY ABOUT BEING PAID!!!!!
I've also read other reviews and one poor guy was told that Framespray UK will ONLY repair his door if he takes the negative review down....that speaks volumes !!!!!

All windows are now faded, AVOID

All my windows are now faded after 5 yrs, I first noticed the fading as early as 2years now it is really bad and looks terrible. I have emailed the company to the original email address from Craig and the new one on the website to get a response and my emails have been completely ignored. I sent a test email as a 'new enquiry' from my other email address and guess what they responded immediately. The guarantee they give of 10 years is not worth it if they ignore a request to chat about it, I didn't demand anything and my email was very polite. Avoid them at all cost and find a company that have better reviews. I can see as others have tried in the reviews the company claim fading is not guaranteed, so what exactly is because the colour change us the reason we do it, if the colour doesn't last what's the point. I won't mention the overspray on the initial start of the job and having to clean the internals myself... That was maybe the first sign.

DO NOT USE!

Had my doors and gutters done in January, which after i noticed they never replaced any of the silicone just sprayed straight over it so it started peeling and cracking which to be fair to them they apologised and sent some guys out again and sorted it or so I thought, these guys decided to touch up the paint and hardly masked anything causing overspray on most of the walls which i just couldn’t be bothered to deal with so didn’t inform them and just left it thinking at least it’s all done and moved on.

Then in July the doors started showing the original white colour through where the seal strips are around the doors so I contacted them and spoke to Craig who apologised and said it was quite normal due to weather causing them to expand and contract etc and will get it sorted so was booked in for September. The date came and went and nobody showed up, emailed and called a few times to finally get a reply saying sorry wasn’t booked in or something so rescheduled for October. Low and behold again nobody showed up. Contacted them a few times again and was told sorry that Craig is no longer with them and was messing the jobs up so will now sort it and to email them the pictures and the guarantee again. After resending them the info no reply from anyone after sending follow up emails every day and then after a week and a half the owner another Craig apparently replied and once again asked me to send the guarantee and the work which i did on 29/10/25 and since then not had one reply at all after sending multiple follow up emails and calling them a hundred times and just getting completely ignored. The guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on! Absolute cowboys and just aren’t trustworthy or a professional company at all. Save your money and please use someone more reputable!

Been trying to get my windows fixed for…

Been trying to get my windows fixed for 5 years now do not go near this company im being ignored all together now to the point i need to take legal action . All the paints faded and falling off mastic falling off of the mastic they went over the top of spray painted over door handles instead of replacing them . The state my house has been left in is nothing short of a riot. I have tried to contact the owner via fb ignored. Linked in ignored. There customer care email ignored... dont be fooled with the garentee its not honoured or worth the paper its written on. Shame i cant put pictures on this review tbh

No 10 year guarantee or receipt!

The company said that I would receive a 10 year guarantee with the spraying of the windows. I am still waiting for my receipt for payment, never mind the 10 guarantee!!!! I asked for the receipt and guarantee several times, but have given it up as a bad job! He was quick enough to ask for the payment once work was complete! I will not be using them again, that is for sure.

abysmal in both workmanship and customer service

turned up two hours late and when arrived rushed round and were spraying within an hour which just didn't sit right with me, and i was correct, paint just slapped on, no prep no cleaning, over spray everywhere, poor masking, painted straight over the rubber seals on the windows. when questioned the two men spraying spat the dummy and walked off the job leaving me with one window half brown and half grey and the bay window looking awful. yet to hear anything back from the company as to how they propose to fix their mess. poor communication, poor work ethics, poor quality finishes and not doing anything remotely close to the process detailed on their site..... award winning???? hmmmm not sure about that.

Do not use complete cowboys guarantee not worth the paper it is written on.

Should be no stars..
On no account use this company the windows in the house had stated to fade in patches probably as when it was first done to a very poor standard they had to come back but instead of reapplying it all they just patched it up.
First contacted Nicola in September 2024 sent photos and was assured we would be contacted for a repair., this went on without an appointment or contact unless it was initiated by me until March 2025 I had to resend the photos and was told an appointment would be forthcoming in the next 3-4 weeks again no contact received.
April heard from Craig Nicola was on holiday for a Month but after asking all the same questions was told they would be here in June, 19th of June was promised they didn't turn up and no contact made, 26th June was promised after me asking where they had been email to say they would be here 27th June as the job they were on had run over again they did not show up and no contact made.
Yet another Craig apparently the last one and Nicola had both left the company. chased and chased several times a week as he too had said they would be out and were very busy and would give me a date soon.
Final email sent 15th August by me threatening legal action to be told that that he had spoke to the boss Richard and they do not consider this is covered by the guarantee despite it being due to poor workmanship in the first place.
So in essence 3 different people had said it would be repaired on 3 separate occasions.
These conversations went on for just under a year with me the only one chasing mostly ignored.
Don't waste your money find someone who will do the job properly first time around and honour your guarantee.

UPDATED RESPONSE
As I cannot respond to the message from Richard I will update here. You have given no advice or recommendation's in fact this is the first contact from you personally!
The issue as stated was when the job was initially completed you had to come back and redo as it was not completed to a very high standard and was patchy instead or it being redone it was just patched which has now resulted in it fading badly in patches if it was just general fading then that would be accepted as wear and tear.
Second issue is on 3 occasions 3 people have said it will be resolved for which I have an email thread to prove this includes 3 appointments made and not kept. We would have welcomed a visit to discuss further which is the least we expected.
Poor communication surely it is not normal for this to take 11 months to finally be told there is nothing to be done?
Please do not say this is unfounded as I do have the proof in email form of all the conversations from September 2024

This is standard across our industry and is not unique to our business. As we do not own the property, the guarantee terms were provided to you in advance, and you agreed to them after reading and understanding the details.
Fading is not a reflection of the quality of our work, the preparation, or the paint we use. All products we apply are of the highest quality and contain sufficient UV protection. However, in rare cases, external factors beyond our control can contribute to fading. This is explained in the guarantee, and we have always been transparent about these limitations.
We have had several conversations with you, offering both advice and aftercare support, but it appears our guidance has not been accepted. We remain committed to assisting all our customers wherever possible, and we are always happy to correct any defects in our workmanship, as per our guarantee.
It is disappointing to receive a negative review when the guarantee’s terms were made clear and agreed upon prior to the work commencing. We believe it is unfair to judge our service based on an issue that falls outside the scope of our responsibility and guarantee.

Poor initial work, threatened for payment

I have waited a month or so before writing the review. I will now objectively give you the pros and cons.
1) The communication is poor, specifically about when the team are arriving. I had a number of failed attempts that were blamed on staff shortages mainly.
2) The initial job was done very quickly and payment demanded there and then. I refused as the job was poor.
3) There was confusion about continuing the job later that day after going to find more paint. This didn't happen as, apparently, the nearest paint was too far away. Instead the team was sent to Scotland to do another job.
4) One member did return later in the week and spent quite a bit of time preparing the door for it's next coat. He arrived unannounced, reinforcing my first point about communication being poor.
5) The second coat and preparing work was, in my view, much better, and so I asked for a link to pay the remainder (having already paid a deposit)
6) Link was sent for way more than the original price so I clarified what was agreed and how much was outstanding. No apology, just another link for the corrected amount. The impression I had built of the company made me feel like they tried to pull a fast one and see if they could get away with charging me more.
7) After just 24 hours I received a threatening message from the so-called manager threatening to send a team down to remove the paint if he did not receive payment by the next day. In fact I had paid already but the credit card said "pending".

I have no idea how long the paint will last but it's OK at the moment. I can imagine, by the way I was treated and threatened, that the 10 year guarantee is pretty worthless but who knows.

I would not recommend this company sadly as the idea is not a bad one. There are many tired garage doors out there but you can do better than using this company.

Regarding your comments on the initial quality of work and payment request, we appreciate that you were honest with us at the time and allowed us the chance to return and address the issues. Sometimes initial preparation goes wrong and once sprayed, you can tell, which is why we revisited with no questions to get the job done to standard. We are pleased to hear that the second visit and additional preparation met your expectations. However, your feedback about the unannounced arrival is noted, and we will work to ensure all future visits are clearly communicated in advance. The sprayer should have contacted you ( As per policy) the day before with an ETA.

We also apologise for the confusion around the payment link. This was an attempt to overcharge. It's the way our system works, you get a link for the full amount, but once you click into it, and it opens, you open the drop down box, you pay the balance which is outstanding. Not the full amount. We understand how this could create the wrong impression and are sorry for any frustration it caused.

The message you received regarding payment was not intended to be threatening, and we apologise for the tone. Our standard T&C's state that all payments must be paid before we leave the property, once you have inspected the work and are happy. We didn't recieve it so our credit control team do chase.

We stand by the quality of our work and the validity of our guarantee. Should you have any concerns in the future, we remain committed to addressing them within the terms of our guarantee.

Poor customer care

Initially in 2020 when we had the respray on my white UPVC windows to anthracite I was pleased with them and even recommended them to friends and neighbors. However, trying to get them to come back now to rectify some white showing through a couple of the windows is a nightmare. They read my messages and don't reply. I don't think the 10 year guarantee is worth the paper its written on ! It's a shame as they do make a good job.

Highly reccomend this company

I rang this company over a week ago as we had been let down by another company.
Had a discussion over the telephone booked a slot ,They then contacted me to say they can come sooner so yes good to go .
We kept in contact till the slot ,The lads arrived 2 cracking lads very talkative very helpful very polite good workers they just got on with job and what a fabulous job they did looks fabulous great price too.
I would highly reccomend this company we are very happy with the outcome the windows look Amazing nothing is too much trouble for this company Thankyou for a great job I am always happy to pass on your details for reccomendations

Very Poor Company and No Customer service

I would not recommend Frame Spray or there 10 Year Guarantee. The guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on, as I found out.
I use Frame Spray 4th August 2021 to spray my door slate grey. I received my ten-year guarantee after the work was completed by Mr C. Lamont. I was very happy with the job and wrote them a good review on their web site.
Around 3rd February 2025 I contacted Frame Spray as the paint had started coming of my door even though it is under cover by an open porch. I spoke to lady call Nicola at the company and she told me someone would contact me about this, but nothing happened. Phoned Frame Spray again and this time talked to man called Craig. He asked what the problem was, so I told him the paint was coming off my door and sent him photos of my door. Craig told me he would get back to me to sort a date for a repair and gave me a new contact number to call him on. Again, nothing happened.
Monday 17th February 2025 called Frame Spray again, but on the old number by mistake and got Nicola. I told her my door had still not been repaired. She offered to give me a quote by her company “Excell Property Services”. I was not going to pay again for the work that supposedly has a 10 year guarantee?
I did eventually get a date for my door to be resprayed by Frame Spray, 28th March 2025 time 9am-2pm, as I work in the afternoon. No one came or phoned me. Phone Frame Spray back next day and they told me sorry and gave me a new date 9th April 2025 but for all day, so I didn’t work that afternoon and they still didn’t come! I phoned Nicola that afternoon around 4pm she said she was sorry and she would get it sorted. Nothing has happened since.
Received a reply from Frame Spray 08/06/2025 saying they would contact me with in 24 hours to arrange a date to sort my door out. I have had no phone calls or emails from Frame Spray and it's now 22/06/2025.
Richard from Frame Spray contacted me today to sort out a date 03/07/2025 for respraying my door.

Got a phone from Craig today asking if they could come and sort my door out. l agreed and he told me they would be with me in about an hour's time. I subsequently got a text from Richard about two hours later saying they would do it on Thursday 3rd July as arranged before. I decided at this point to get it sorted out, as it has been going on for over five months now. I texted Craig the next day to tell him my door is sorted out now, Craig called me back and asked why. I was just so tired of excuses.

THERES BETTER SPRAY COMPANY’S

I had my house spray painted by another company and they did a good job however we didn’t get our canopy sprayed and then decided we wanted the canopy spraying.

When the sprayer came , he started work on the property without even knocking on the door/introducing himself. He worked for about 20 minutes and stated he was finished. I kindly paid for the works and the next day I noticed how poor of a job was done. Left a complete mess, didn’t paint parts of the canopy , patches on the parts that was painted. Pictures was sent and acknowledgement was made on the poor works. I can’t understand how such a small and simple job was so badly done.

I had messaged the company on what’s app to be told that they will get someone out however I’ve been met with we will get back to you , we will get someone booked in …

It’s clear that the people that work here don’t care much for there customers .

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. The owner is dishonest and has the morals of a sewer rat. The owner is not even based in the UK, he is renting a variety of houses in France, and one of them by a lovely elderly couple in a small village where he caused huge damage in a short period of time and left with unpaid bills, another house which was a house for a young family, rented in good faith, again huge damage and thousands of unpaid bills left when he departed, both houses he is refusing to pay what he is supposed to and Legal action is under way against him in France and is about to start in the UK - and now he has moved on to another house. He is not to be trusted with your money, and clearly has no standards of acceptable behaviour or conduct. Do not deal with people like this. If he can do this to the vulnerable elderly and young families, he will have no regard for you.

NEVER use this company

NEVER use this company, my whole house was done by this company under 2 years ago,
The paint work has now gone awful looks like oil has been thrown at it, it’s flaking away.
we have a guarantee which is for 10years but actually nothing is covered under this!!! Just be careful when choosing this company.

They are not trying to say that they have to charge us for the re-spray…
