Purchased a black Franke fragranite sink in January 2025 as part of a full professional kitchen install. Immediately theres was problems with sink discolouring with grey and white blotches showing up on the sink. I contacted Franke but was Immediately fobbed off and giving the advice of using "Ciff" cleaner, apparently this magically turns black fragranite sinks back to black, NOT. Unfortunately I had to live with this nasty looking £500 sink for over a year until now.
Recently I was getting pools of water accumulating under the sink. Initially I thought it was pipe work so checked everything and replaced seals but to no avail. Replaced tap tails, again water still pooling untill by chance I noticed a hairline cracke in the side of the half bowl.
I sent Franke images and proof of purchase but they fobbed me off again claiming impact damage which is physically impossible as the half bowl is so small and the crack is on the side meaning nothing would fit inside to impact that area.
This is the second time they renegaded on their 5 year warrenty which is meaningless sales talk. However this time it will be pursued further with consumer direct if not resolved withing a reasonable time frame.
NOTE: I see Franke does respond to reviews on here but I'm not interested in generic responses they normally post on here without actual resolution.

Dan, the Franke technician, provided excellent service when he came to repair my boiling water tap. He was very polite, professional and clearly knew his product. He quickly diagnosed the fault, explained the issue clearly, and carried out the repair efficiently. The tap is now working perfectly. A great example of knowledgeable and customer-focused service. Reported problems with kitchen sink mixer tap to Franke and they couldn’t be more helpful. Following a number of communications and spare parts the only solution was a replacement tap which I received in a few days. The staff at Franke always replied quickly and were most courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Martin once more came to resolve a problem with the boiler tap. Whilst disappointing that we are getting to know him quite well, his manner is excellent, he resolved the problem and left everything spotless.
However as this has been his 3rd visit in a little over 2 years of having the tap fitted, I have been unimpressed with the reliability of the product.

Emailed Franke over a weekend because on changing the filter in our boiling water tap the sump immediately started leaking. First working day after the weekend we had a reply from Ben Schofield who suggested what the problem may be over email, gave us a link to buy a spare part which we could easily fit ourselves and solved the problem without any additional cost to us above the small cost for the part. Fantastic service. Great to know Franke are willing to help to extend the life of your product and it’s not just considered defunct when a part wears out.

We made a warranty claim for our former Instante boiling water product which was accepted without any difficulties. It took a long time to schedule the technician appointment and when he appeared, he did the necessary repairs but commented that our product was somewhat redundant and a very modern and updated product was available. We opted for a Maris 4-in-1 water hub and the same technician (Mike) came back to fit it. The service was exemplary, and we were guided on how to use it and the whole process was simple and straightforward. And we received a 40% discount on the installation, so the cost was very reasonable. We would strongly recommend and love the new, electronic product.

My Franke sink and taps are of a very poor quality and soon marked and taps discoloured and are unsightly
The customer care was dreadful. They told me that their products can only be cleaned with mild soapy water and not supermarket cleaning products. A bad product and shocking treatment by their customer service team.
They seem to sell very different grades. Be sure to purchase their high end products and not the general items selected by plumbers etc..

I realised I'd ordered the wrong cold water cartridge for my Davos tap when I came to fit it. The person I emailed in Consumer Care was incredibly helpful, identified the correct cartridge from my photograph and quickly arranged a replacement.
Thoroughly recommend based on my experience.

Rather than an outdated tank that didn’t do spares anymore I ended up with a brand new system that’s far more efficient, works better, and is cheaper in the long term. Really great advice without being salesy.

After a bit of a shaky start where I was given a bit of a brush-off, Helen got involved and resolved our disagreement over durability of the Franke Minerva 3-in-1 system in a very satisfactory manner. I phoned the Customer Helpline for advice as my hot water tap had stopped working and my call was answered quickly and I was advised to fill in the contact firm on the website which I did. I recieved an email from Ben Schofield within an hour and after a few more emails back and forth he identified the issue and guided me on how to fix it.
Ben was really helpful and clear with his instructions and quick to respond to my various queries meaning that I thought would need a plumber's call out was fixed in just over an hour.
Really refreshing to find a helpline with real people, not BOTS, who are helpful and know their stuff, it made my day, THANKYOU!
