Product never arrived - still awaiting refund

I ordered an amp that was listed as in stock. 3 weeks later it still has not arrived and they have no idea where it is. The courier company is Aramex, and their tracking is useless. I asked for a refund and they initially said they could not provide one. I then threatened to go to fair trading and they were suddenly able to "prioritise" the matter. Needless to say, I have still not received a refund, nor any further correspondence at the time of writing. I filed a report with the ACCC and filled out a form for charge back with my bank, but apparently that will take 75 days. If you feel like going through the same process, use Frankie's. Otherwise, maybe shop somewhere else.

Slow to dispatch

Ordered some parts which were listed as in stock but hadn't been dispatched 10 days after ordering. Frankie's were responsive to my emails but couldn't provide any clarity, so I cancelled and ordered from Strathfield instead. Strathfield delivered the next day.

Frankies are a pleasure to buy from, if I have any questions about the things I need, I can ask them no hesitation. Everything arrived well packed, if I needed to check out my order, they are always on hand with a update. Thank you frankies for the great service over the years

Sells junk and provides a junk service

Purchased a radio that was faulty and couldn't receive any channel's, they made me make videos showing it was faulty which meant having to re-install it and video the fact that it couldn't pick up any channels, to do this I also had to video another radio (old one ) which actually could, they then agreed to send me a return slip, so I packaged it up and and sent it back, 2 weeks later and a week after it was received into their warehouse and still no refund, not a good company to deal with and now you know why you can't leave reviews on there facebook

Dodge

Price was good, postage was good, received package, inside the wrapping the main box had already been opened and I noticed that one of the leads for the aerpro unit was faulty and hanging on by 1 wire, the other 3 wires had been ripped off. Also sent me the wrong patch lead. Made a phone call and the said they'll pass it on to their "wharehouse" team as if they're the only ones that could replace or refund it, it's now 3 to 4 weeks later and I haven't heard boo from them. Spoke to my local store and the guys look of "oh you idiot" as soon as I mentioned Frankie's said it all. Go somewhere else

Not worth the wait!!

The company was once good with good Australian customer service but now they have outsourced their customer service to useless Filipinos!!
Don't expect your parcel to come quick because aramex don't even know when they can deliver!!
I'll be going else where for my car audio, I'd rather spend a little more to know when I'll get my order

Be aware and steer clear

Purchased an item which was faulty and sent it back only to be told there is nothing wrong with it. They returned item and it does not work, purchased another from a decent company and it works fine. The drama and cost of returning item plus paying a restocking fee is just thieving money off people.
Never again with this company

My go-to for car audio. I have been ordering from Frankies for a while now and have suggested their store to friends looking for speakers. I highly recommend!

BEWARE

I took my brand new Ford Everest and a second hand caravan to Frankies to get some work quoted. They looked at my needs and quoted me $1,310.00, so I paid a $250 deposit and booked the work in. The day I took both car and caravan to get the work done, they looked at it and said Oh, you have an Everest, so you will need this and that.
The work was to be done on a Friday and about 4:30pm, I received a call saying the work was not complete, could they keep the car and caravan over the weekend and the work would be completed on Monday. I agreed, but on Monday afternoon, I had not heard from them so I rang again. The work was still not complete as they were waiting on some parts. I rang again on Tuesday afternoon and the parts still had not arrived. I finally received my car and caravan back on Wednesday afternoon and the invoice price was $1,000.00 ABOVE the quoted price. So a 1 day job for $1,310 turned into a 4 day job for $2,310 and I was without a car for 6 days.
I will never, under any circumstances, have any work done through them again.

WARNING: Avoid at all costs

I live in a regional area, I called Frankies upon finding them via Google, to discuss a new head unit for my vehicle. I explained I needed it only to connect via USB to my Apple phone to play music, and to listen to radio. I was recommended a specific Pioneer unit. I purchased the unit and had it installed at a local auto electrician. I was horrified to find out that the head unit didn't support Apple phones. After much back and forth I purchased a replacement head unit, but then Frankies changed their mind and refused to take back the original which they'd wrongly recommended. It's been the worst customer experience of my life, I'll never go back and would encourage others to avoid them.

Had a bad feeling when the payment method was bank details deposit to pay for items . 2 weeks after paying for goods I’m still being told “awaiting payment”

Don't buy from these guys, The reviews are true!

I purchased a car amplifier from their online store, which was not marked as out of stock. The payment was confirmed and three days after placing the order I received an email saying the product was "Awaiting shipment" After waiting another two weeks for that status to change I call Frankie's and find out that they're out of stock and won't be receiving more for another month! All they care about is having your money, not the customer. Don't buy from these people if you value your time and money

Great company bad Shipping

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews.

Used them about 10 times to ship to WA from their location and never had a problem.
Great prices and good customer service, pitty a bunch of stuff listed online is out of stock or not listed with a price.

Still a great place to buy 4/5

Only issues I have is their choice of Shipping which is fastway and they're ridiculous slow and useless. If they could change to something quicker and dependable they would get a lot more Better feedback

Dishonest and liars .. Took 6 weeks after ordering and not receiving my goods to get my money back ..
If I had not got After Pay involved..
I probably would not ..Have got My money back at all

Frankies Auto Electrics..AVOID

Frankies Auto Electrics... where do
I begin. It has been a while since Ive dealt with a company with such blatant contempt for customers. Why maintain a reputation when pushing product is the main priority - except, when you fail at that, you have got nothing.

Beware. This company is one that you have to chase for orders - if you place one, you better be on your toes and be willing to call them many, many times to find out what is going on.

After more than a month, my order remains unchanged.

It appears they very much order items on demand from their warehouse, which means nothing more than they havent followed up with a vendor for delivery. Ive been told customer service will call back and never do. Ive been promised that items will be shipped soon they never do.

Want a refund? Good luck with that as well. I suspect this company has a file with Consumer Affairs that is increasing in thickness as time goes on.

How these people can call themselves a business is beyond me.
