I had never published a book before. I was looking for some advice and I found Emi Maxwell with Franklin Publishers. She guided me patiently through the process and gave me the confidence to coninue writing.She has brought me to submitting my third book and the process was one of the most wonderful of my life .That is saying a lot because I am 80 years old. I will never be able to thank her and the publishers for their guidance and patience.

Please thank all of the team that helped prepare my book Maria Daisy Quintana for publication. I appreciate the time they took to preserve the voices of Raymond and Aunt Daisy so that the reader will experience their language and culture. I know they had difficulty with words, places and names in Spanish with accent marks, tildes, etc. Without their help I would not have been able to submit the manuscript to Amazon and the other publishers. This book represents an authentic oral history of my Aunt Daisy's life from the mountains of northern New Mexico through Colorado, California and Nevada.

That I finally got to work with a real publisher

Please allow me to express my feelings and experiences with Ms. Lizzy Tabone on having my book published. I suffer from dyslexia and because of this learning disorder I made it almost impossible for her. Lizzy went far beyond the call of duty! From day one she made an uncalled for promise to hang in with me no matter how long it took to publish my book. When I told her it wasn’t necessary to give me such attention she said: “Never mind, let’s get going!” Well, she did just that. Her style and temperament paved the way to clean the bumpy roads in my manuscript from the first page to the last period in the last page of my book. My only regret is that I’m not prolific writer only a story teller of my life, otherwise Ms. Lizzy Tabone would be the one and only person publishing my book!
