I actually got my aligners!

I just wanted to jump on here and say I recieved my aligners yesterday that I ordered in November pre-insolvency. There is hope! The parcel didn't contain any of the chewies to help bed the aligners in, or my tooth movement chart - both of which are listed as things you should receive in the booklet that comes in the parcel. But at this point, after months of worrying, I'm just glad I've got the aligners.

I've been able to get a response from the support team with around a 3-day turnaround, so at least it's possible to contact them now. If you're still waiting for yours, hopefully they will come soon!

The way Frankmsile have dealt with this has honestly been terrible with such poor communications and false promises throughout this period of uncertainty for so many of their customers. And what is concerning me is for whatever reason when I've visited the website it still seems like they're letting people order impression kits at least, hopefully not actual aligners. But whatever you do, if you haven't already ordered, DO NOT ORDER FROM FRANKSMILE!

Finally received my aligners

So guys I know I put up two negative reviews couple of months ago but I’m relieved to say that I have finally received my aligners and have been wearing them for 5 days now. I signed up to this in October 2019 and it’s now 5 months down the line so don’t disperse, if you have paid them then rest assure you will most likely be getting them soon.

THIEVES!!!!

The bad reviews are true, I doubt the good ones are! Absolute thieves. Allowed me to pay for two monthly installments when the aligners weren't even made and they were going through bankruptcy. I'm very lucky that tabeo told me and refunded the payments, big thanks to tabeo, but Franksmile told me nothing!! Appalling service! I've been chasing for refund of the impressions kit also, since that is pointless now I will get no aligners. I'm getting no response. Awful company. There's plenty of better options out there, just wish I hadn't wasted money and a lot of time with these wasters.

YOU MAY ACTUALLY GET YOUR TREATMENT

Guys,
Just like you guys I was super afraid about my order. On cyber Monday, I ordered my aligners and it literally just came now. I got an email a day or so after I ordered saying they filed for bankruptcy but it wouldn't affect the order. I didn't think much of it at the time until about 2 or 3 weeks later when I tried to get updates on my order. I called them, no answers. Looked online everywhere including here and I only got more and more worried (I did see one review saying be patient and that did alleviate things). I emailed a person that works there that I was talking to about the treatment plan beforehand. No answers. I didn't know what to do, I was sure I got robbed and the worst part of it was I paid the full amount unlike many of you doing monthly payments. I was going to talk to my bank about this but I didn't get the time. On the 20th Jan I emailed support @ franksmile.com and I didn't get a response until the 31st of last month saying "Sorry for the delayed response. Your aligners were shipped this week and should arrive in the upcoming days."
I then remembered I missed a delivery. Today, literally a few minutes ago I went and collected my missed delivery and as it turns out, it's my aligners. I am so relieved. I am only giving this review a 5 star although it took way too long to deliver because it got so many negative responses, I hope this one stands out to calm some people cos it's really frightening especially for the people that paid the full treatment. I have no idea if the treatment itself is any good, if it isn't then I will be putting in another review. I hope all of you get your treatments. We were very unlucky to order when they filed for bankruptcy but oh well. Good luck guys and be patient!

I had a few issues doing my home…

Love them, I did have a few issues doing my home impression kit but they sent me multiple sets to help me get it right. I eventually went into London and had the 3D scan, much easier! I received the set in a couple of weeks and I pay monthly with no interest added. I am so happy with the process so far. I am on my 5th set of aligners and love looking the final results. Can't wait to have straight teeth. I am reading through reviews now and they are negative but I guess it's different for everyone. I can't recommended these enough.

Avoid

Everything was fine initially, ordered the kit, it wasnt acceptable so went into manchester to have the 3D scan and it all seemed professional and legit. Paid in FULL for my treatment, waited 6 weeks and emailed them chasing where it was, got a response back on the 6th of January this year saying they were still in production and I'd receive tracking once shipped. Still not received them, I've sent multiple emails and they're now unresponsive, I contacted Tabeo who does their finances and they have raised a complaint however I'm not holding out hope. I will be contacting my bank again to try for a refund, I ALWAYS pay PayPal but the option wasnt available and I cant believe I trusted this company to pay through the bank
Absolutely disgusted that this can even go on, so so many complaints, dont trust the positive reviews it's not worth the stress. Just pay for invisalign, at least your guaranteed good results and a trustworthy provider.

Appalling

Appalling. Paid for the kit to take samples of my teeth sent that all off. No response from their team for 2 months. I had to contact them and they said they were going bankrupt in the UK and would not even give me a refund. Could not rate more poorly for their terrible service.

Ordered the impressions kit in November during the Black Friday deal - thankfully only paid £15 rather than the usual £50. Having chased numerous times after Christmas I have now received an email to say the company is going through bankruptcy and my treatment plan won’t be provided. How disgusting to take peoples’ money knowing they were struggling and due to hit the skids - these things don’t happen overnight.

Don’t hold your breath if you’re under treatment or awaiting a plan from these cowboys.

NOPE. DON'T DO IT. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. NOPE.

Into the last month of treatment and my contact at Franksmile has become entirely unresponsive about major issues with my bite and the fact that the treatment has not fixed the problem it claimed "100% to remedy".
The company looks like it is no longer trading, all their email addresses remain unanswered and their phone number rings to voicemail even during their stated office hours.
I am now going to have to go for another dental alignment treatment to repair the issues they have created.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Be patient - it's a startup and they're trying hard

Yes, the company has been going through some difficulties, but my experience has been totally different to all the reviews I'm reading here. For a start, they have been very communicative with me. I ordered aligners a week before they went bankrupt, but spoke to my UK based account person regularly - and even had an email chat with the founder. They have a recovery plan in place, which does mean some delays in getting retainers. Don't panic and maybe cut them some slack - you'll get further. It's not an ideal situation - but they're a startup and this sometimes happens.

Should've recieved my braces a month…

Should've recieved my braces a month ago, but all I get is excuses from the company. My guess is that I'm not getting any. Would strongly advice against using Franksmile.
Update: still no braces three months later, and no contact from the company since december. I guess they're completely closed down.

I have proceeded with my treatment and received retainers on June. Although, having just now finished the treatment I can tell you one thing clear - since the treatment plan promised 100% results and my bite had to be Perfect, after 15 pairs of retainers, of which few cracked straight away due to crappy material , my bite is RUINED. The main reason wasn’t fixed , I will not need to probably wear braces to fix it back. Planning on going to court. Still have 2 payments left which I’m not planning to pay of course , and Franksmile is unresponsive.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I have had the same issue as a lot of other people on here. I ordered my aligners in October and Ebony was extremely responsive. I then couldn't get hold of anyone from November, office number doesn't connect, the mobile number they were using no longer works and no-one answers my emails. I have made two payments with Tabeo, expected to make a third, yet I haven't received anything at all. I have heard they have gone bankrupt however I haven't got any proof of this and they haven't emailed me.

I have spoken to citizens advice, and they say to hold Tabeo in breach of contract. We are paying them however we have not received the goods. They also said to ask to repudiate the contract. They should be a member of an ADR (alternative dispute resolution) scheme who should act as a mediator to solve the problem. They say to also send a letter by recorded delivery with your formal complaint.

They have gone bankrupt.
I fell into their black friday discount trap, paid in full with paypal credit, its been nearly a month no sign of aligners or dispatch email. I'm waiting for a refund from paypal, hopefully I get it asap.
