Impressed!

My experience with dealing with Freckleton Brown has been very positive. I was very impressed with Donna. I’d seen a property and made an accepted offer. Donna was excellent at setting the ball rolling. She was ‘on it’. Requesting information from myself, chasing 3rd parties for information and providing regular updates.
Unfortunately, my buyer pulled out. Donna liaised with their estate agent to try and resolve any issues but to no avail.
I was so impressed with Donna that I changed to Freckleton Brown.
Paul Freckleton, the owner, did the valuation took the photographs and gave me great advice on what not to do regarding the interior.
I’m looking forward to working with FB for the sale and purchase of my new property.

Let me down

Failed to carry out regular inspections and report to me what was happening. Tenant says they ignored requests for repairs. When tenant left they failed to collect last 3 weeks rent leaving me to chase for it. House is trashed. Would not recommend.

Steer Clear of this Estate Agents, Horrible people.

So, Nottingham Post is going to be contacted about this estate agents. They had my sister living in a property with three children and a disabled and mentally unwell husband without heating or hot water for almost a year and did nothing about it until after they evicted them from the property. Three children have suffered at the helm of this for months and now also, they are making claims to have seen my sister during their "inspections" of the property when in actual fact, my sister has evidence of not being in the property during these inspections and has employment records to back her up on this so that's another lie. They have spat on my sister's family, and as a Law Graduate myself, I will not be taking this lightly. Nothing worse than a deceitful bunch of idiot estate agents, including the main woman in charge that gets her kicks out of punishing families. Well, your reputation is on the decline rapidly. Disgusting every one of you.

Awful service

Awful service
Awful estate agents
Do not use for anything!!
Adele the lady in the office so rude and unprofessional
We did an application for a house was told the landlord was happy with our application all I needed was a current landlord reference and then we can sort a date to move in.

But Because of the service and ignoring my emails I sent a email to the manager and Adele sharing my concerns, Adele then didn’t like that and withdrew my application.

I have emails to show

Good job I didn’t give my notice on my current house!!!
I would love to know if the landlord of the property is aware of their actions!!!

I complained to Paul Freckleton, couldn’t get situation resolved and he was ignoring my actual complaint about Adele and about withdrawing my application

So now will go to the ombudsman

Awful estate agent, don't care about service

Incredibly poor service around a booked viewing.

I called around 4pm to the office to enquire and was told by a very helpful lady who took all my details and said that someone was someone there this evening, brilliant! I booked in to come with my fiancee.

On the way we hit traffic in so I called the office and spoke to Ashley approx. 515pm and said we were likely to be 10 to 15 mins late. Ashley assured me this wouldn't be a problem.

We arrived at the house at 17:48, 18 minutes late. There was no answer at the door, all the lights off, no obvious agent car or for sale board. I called the office, Ashley answered at 17:51, she told me that she had called the viewer but it went straight to answerphone and so it was likely the viewer had left.

I am disgusted that no-one called me to say that they couldn't get through to the viewer, nothing. The only thing I had been told was that it should all be OK which it clearly wasn't. We had rushed from work and then as quick as we could from home, we had called when we hit traffic and were just left like we clearly didn't matter.

This is incredibly poor customer service and lack of communication. Ashley asked if I wanted to rearrange. No thanks, if that's the way you treat buyers then I'll never buy though you and will take every opportunity to tell others how poor the service was.

The Best Estate Agency in Eastwood, Nottingham

Hi - I rearely write reviews unless I am seriously impressed and I have been with Freckleton Brown - Eastwood. I am selling my house and in doing so had 5 agencies around to value the property including the one I bought off. From word of mouth I heard thehe one I bought off has a poor reputation for valuing properties low for a quick sale so I went to wider market. I met 4 other agents and of - majoritythem all Freckleton Brown impressed me of agencies had the same valuation figure (all much more than the initial agency I bought off) - majority had slick packs, highlighting photo quality, marketing packages, premium packages, focus on customer service etc and sold the corporate spiel of having a large network of agencies. I stumbled on Freckleton Brown in a local magazine and was very impressed when Paul Freckleton (the owner) came out himself to value the property. The agency has been in Eastwood 17 years, are a local independant and all staff are local. Even after I had called to arrange the valuation the next time I rang the receptionist remembered my name and property - really had that personal touch. Paul came viewed the property, valued it - he talked through the photos, the 360 degree video tour they would record, the various property websites they would advertise on (much more than the corporates) and marketing strategy and how the measure the impact of the marketing and analyse the activity and tailor it if needed. There was no glossy broshure - Paul was able to talk freely about all local sales of properties and from memory described properties, knew the streets, advertised price selling price, selling points. He also talked about the market in general giving me an insight in to the overall market. not only that but as an independant FB are the cheapest estate agent from the 5 and best value for money
9Prob the benefit of being independent). I met Paul on a Thursday - by the Saturday I had a sign up outside my house - Photos were taken 2 days later and went live on the Tuesday with all marketing in place. from Tuesday to Friday I had immense interest and 5 viewing s booked for the Friday - House valued, marketed, posted online, and 5 viewings booked in less than a week! Unreal service!! I was kept in the loop and often walked to Eastwood to pop in to the office for update as the staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming and dont mind the face to face contact or phone contact and dont hide behind emails. So far the experience has been amazing - I would recommend them wholeheartedly - I reffered them to my firend who is selling in a local town and has had 6 weeks of being messed about, having timewasters view properties. She works in property and was fed up with getting no where. She has since had FBs Paul out to value and she was impressed also and using them in coming weeks to sell her property (as another agency has tied her in to 20 week cooling period..(thats 6 months and if sellor goes elsewhere they face a large fee and percentage of eventual sale regardless of the agent - so do check your cooling periods if selling.
I cannot talk highly enough of Freckleton Brown - I work in a large corporate company striving to out compete competitors through service and honestly......I cant fault FB. I never noticed Estate Agents in Eastwood before but now I have a house on the market, I see Freckleton Brown - SOLD signs all over Eastwood which also filled me with confidence.Massive thanks to the team and hopefully my next post will be about the after viewing experience and hopefully offers/1 Excellent work FB!

Awful estate agents...

Firstly, they do not tell you that some of their properties flood or such like meaning there can be no contents insurance obtained. They use bullying tactics to extort extra rent and charges from tenants, and also withhold tenants' deposits without warning. Repairs take an age to get completed, even if they do at all. We were left without a fence and a working toilet for around 3 months before having enough and moving out.
