Absolute cowboys. Not to be trusted. Look at their feedback on other sites, too. They should be shut down. I understand an investigation is ongoing at present. Go to Stafford Freedom Caravans instead.

Swift Ace Ambassador- We purchased a two berth caravan for a competitive price, which was presented in excellent condition. As a Chartered Electrical Engineer by nature I analyse everything. The team at CN were professional and knew their subject. Also there was no rush or time constraints on handover. Excellent service would highly recommend. Neil, many thanks.

We purchased a campervan from Caravans North Limited that was fundamentally flawed from the outset. Most concerning was a significant safety issue that made the vehicle unsuitable and unsafe to use. This should never occur in a campervan that was claimed to have been properly checked before sale. In addition to the safety concern, the van suffered from poor build quality and recurring faults. These issues were raised repeatedly and required multiple return visits, yet they were never fully resolved. The vehicle spent more time back with the dealer for repairs than it did being used as intended. The aftersales response was extremely disappointing. Rather than taking responsibility for supplying an unsafe and defective vehicle, the seriousness of the problems was minimised and inaccurate explanations were given. This left us with a vehicle that could not be used safely and has caused significant financial loss. Overall, the experience fell far below any reasonable standard of product quality or customer care. Based on what we experienced, we would strongly advise others to think very carefully before purchasing from Caravans North Limited.

We bought a Freedom Microlite Discovery from Caravans North Bradford a couple of months ago. We were surprised to read some of the negative reviews posted on here, as our experience was completely contrary to those negative reviews. Neil was very friendly, gave good and non-pushy advice, and very contactable via phone and text. Before even visiting, he was happy to give us advice over the phone about tow bars. When we visited his showroom in Bradford, Neil showed us round lots of caravans he had in stock and helped us settle on the one that was right for us, again, without and hard-ball sales pushing to try and have us choose a larger/more pricey model. Prior to pick up, Caravans North repaired/replaced the couple of imperfections you expect to find when purchasing a pre-owned 'van. When it came to the pick up, they were again useful in showing us how to hook up to our car (as we had never had a caravan before) and all the ins and outs of the caravan. Would highly recommend them. I get the impression the negative reviews are all from the same person who appears to have had a different experience. For us, however, excellent from start to finish. 5 stars. Thanks, Neil and team!

Check the awning if it is included in the sale as an enticer, I didn't check mine straightaway when I purchased a caravan from Neil in November. It was in a lovely new'ish Suncamp awning bag & on peeking inside, I saw some a nice & clean fabric and assumed it was the awning. However, when I unpacked the bag, I found nice and clean fabric was a hanging storage with pockets item. Hidden underneath this was a disgusting, dirty, worn out, ancient & smelly porch awning which had stuck together. In addition there was only one broken extendable pole, the other 2 required were missing. I believe it was deceptively and deliberately hidden. Not a good practice for a dealer, I certainly wouldn't recommend Neil.

Caravans North are a brilliant company. We bought a caravan this April (24) from Neil. The customer service is fantastic and Neil even talked us through putting the awning up over facetime! Neil is always happy to help and we love our new caravan. I would really recommend Caravans North!!

Brilliant company love my freedom caravan they were helpful after care was brilliant I’m newbie to caravanning and needed sone help and advise always on hand happy to help from a phone call nothing to much trouble highly recommend !

In mid July 2024 we purchased and collected our Freedom Jetstream Twinsport from Caravans North in Bradford. Our experience was top quality. We spent a morning with Neil viewing the stock available, accepted his recommendations and then chose the model and price most suitable for our needs. Neil was knowledgeable and entertaining and at no time exerted any pressure for a decision. When we tried to negotiate on price, he suggested instead that he put together a starter package for us, everything we needed to start using the ‘van at no extra cost. This has worked out brilliantly and everything he provided, although pre-loved, is of very acceptable quality.
The delay between purchase and handover was very reasonable and when we arrived at the workshop for collection, we couldn’t believe how smart the ‘van was looking. Everything was super clean, shiny and a couple of small problems had been resolved.
We spent well over 2 hours with Rob who was patient and understanding, quite relaxed about repeating anything we hadn’t taken in. He is obviously extremely honest and experienced and gave us very useful tips. He was also very entertaining and enthusiastic and we enjoyed the whole experience whilst learning a lot.
Since collection, we have taken our first trip and so far, everything about the Freedom’van has exceeded our expectations. It’s small but perfectly formed and has been a talking point on the Club site.
I am shocked that a couple of reviews are so negative. Our experience has been wholly positive and we are very grateful to Caravans North.

THEY SOLD MY SON A WRITE OFF CARAVAN WITH A RUINED ROOF AND REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. DON'T GO NEAR THIS LOT OF ROBBERS

Contacted the company several times on their contact us option on their site and also left voicemail on Neil's phone. No reply on both¡!! Very poor customer service.

Sold my fella a write off 2 year old caravan with a ruined shell and wonky roof. 12 grand for a piece of scrap.
The civil case is coming together now, and we'll see these clowns on tv and in court very soon.

Just bought our first second hand caravan ( baily orion 400/2 ) from Neil, absolutely spotless, put the awning up doesn't look like it's been used, everything's in good condition,Neil & his family couldn't do enough for you, they really went above& beyond,thank you so much couldn't be happier, I would definitely recommend this family company to anyone, can't wait to go away this weekend for our first caravaning experience.

I bought a second user Freedom Jetstream first class 2009 from this firm. It came with an awning and cover, and other goodies. Neil and Rob were most helpful. The after-sales is very good. The only thing I can moan about was a wet lead acid battery in the caravan itself without an external vent. Not good. However, it is nice to have a caravan that is guaranteed NOT to leak for twenty five years. This is achieved by one GRP moulding that includes the back, roof and front panels. Not a joint in sight.The build is unlike British colanders they call caravans. If I want to change the caravan within two years they will buy it back at - at least 70% of the price I paid for it. All in all, thank you Neil and Rob with help on relieving £7K as painless as possible.
