SIMPLY JUST DON'T

Don't use this service they just suspend your domain without any reason, and there is no way to contact them because customer support does not exist.

SCAM AT ITS FINEST!

A COMPLETE SCAM. Deletes your domain and makes you pay like $50 for it back. When I paid it, all my configurations were deleted. They also do not respond to support tickets, their pages load SLOWWW and when i try to connect to my website or my Minecraft server it takes like 10 minutes for it to finally load. 100% recommend NameCheap instead as they are complete crap.

Domain paid, got deleted and no support - fraud

I had a .net domain for some years there, it was acceptable for the low price. I renewed the domain manually via Paypal but the domain suddenly got deleted, as if I hadn't paid (PayPal clearly sent the money). I opened a support ticket and as for now it has been 6 months without an answer. Of course I directly bought my domain back at a new and better provider.
Freenom is outright fraud.

Don't even bother.

The reviews I saw were unacceptable for a "Domain provider''. The ''free'' domains get taken away when you get atleast some traffic. Then you have to buy back your domain. No company should do this to their users, this is customer hostile!!!

Their support is not even considered as support, they will flat-out ignore you and never respond back. You can wait a year and will not even give you another response.

I'm shocked that they call themselves a company, when their job is to stop any traffic and making you buy back your domain.

Please, you are in better hands with GoDaddy, NameCheap, Bluehost or anything else. Just avoid using this provider for your blog, portfolio or your store.

Support not so friendly in my opinion.

I contacted support several times, not that friendly what i espect from a Support but yea.... I had a Paid Domain and several free Domains. The Free Domains got suspended aka deleted or whatever whithout any restore possibility. I just forgot to set DNS in time. I held them pourly for nearly a year without setting Domains. My fault.

Doesn't change the Fact that this experience was enough to destroy my trust in that Company.

I transfered PAID Domain to my main registrar and support answered very fast in the End.

I wrote my feedback directly to that Supporter and ask for account closing.

What a pity! The website looked really nice and friendly. The first impression was very positive. The overall experience as starting Reseller, however, was unfortunately not good.

Worst domain registrar ever

I've never experienced something as horrible as freenom's service in my 15 years of experience as a developer. It's simply the most horrible provider: my three domains suddenly stopped working, so I sent a lot of tickets. They said: "the domain is working fine on our end, it must be something you did". Time and time again they said the same until finally, they said that my domain had violated the terms and conditions and that they wouldn't restore my account.

So my advice for you is: never ever use them for anything usable. I'd say, use the free domain if you really have to, but never ever purchase a domain from them or think they can be used in production. They might just cancel your products and the guy, a "René Broekhuis", who is the only one answering tickets, will simply make you waste your time. No ethics, no good service, just the worst of all registrars.

Stay away from them and do not let them lure you into registering a free domain —you will regret it.

Closed my domain without warning.

Had a free domain for about 3 years, which was pretty nice, but they removed it without so much as a warning or email to let me know, which is just bizarre and bad business practice, because obviously I'm not going to go back to them now.

I now try to renew the domain and they've put a price on it. That's understandable, but the fact that I didn't even get a warning to tell me my domain would be shut down is unforgiveable, so I'm gonna go and buy it from GoDaddy instead.

SCAM

SCAM. They took my domain with no warning because I got a decent amount of trafic. I tried reaching out but these pathetic losers have no way of getting in touch, instead they just demand money or force you to sell your site.

Total SCAM

Total SCAM. They steal your domains with traffic, quietly , with no grace period, and then they want to sell it to you. One of the worst registrars. Don't lose your developed web pages. Do not use Freenom

Scam

I am not sure if this company still exists or they are just scamming people. Services not working, but they end up billing you even when there is an error with the domain you trying to purchase. Don't bother seeking support, they don't have one. they never respond to tickets or emails. They will just take your money and never provide you with the service.
