My son has been in first grade at this school for about six months now, and he absolutely loves it. He has already built real friendships with the other children, which means a lot to us.

The teachers are truly wonderful in the way they interact with the kids. They are attentive, kind, and really take the time to understand each child’s individual needs. For example, in math there are two teachers working with just seven students, which allows them to adapt to different learning levels. I find that especially valuable.

I also really appreciate the approach to learning. The concept of more open, curiosity-driven learning – especially through “research questions” – encourages both creativity and independent thinking. At the same time, each child is supported at their own pace, which creates a very positive learning environment.

All in all, it has been a very good start, and we are happy with our choice.

I have three kids attending the FDOS. We are generally very happy with the school. The teachers are super nice and know how to motivate the students to reach their full potential. I like the most that students not only learn knowledge but more importantly to think creatively and for themselves. We also appreciate the possibility to obtain the High School Diploma at FDOS.

A very unique shool that motivated my daughter for learning and for participating in the classes. Everyone is respected and welcomed, especially individuality and individual interests are worshipped.

Great school for people who want to live freely and independently.

Both of my children are enrolled at the Free German Online School, and I couldn’t be happier. The teachers are warm, patient, and truly care about each student’s progress. My kids feel seen, supported, and actually enjoy learning again — something I hadn’t experienced in years. The communication is great, the lessons are well-structured, and the overall atmosphere is encouraging and kind.
Highly recommended for families who value quality education and emotional well-being.
