Booked with this company 2 weeks prior to needing an end of tenancy clean for my mum who is moving into dementia care.
I doubted their competency pretty much from the get go with their inabilities to take my email address down correctly which meant I had to email approximately 4 times to get their booking confirmation.
Finally I get someone competent to realise the typo in my email and get the booking confirmed. I log into their portal, create an account as instructed and no where do I see any area to fill my credit card details in, I see “cash” under payment terms - I’m fine with that and on I go with my naive belief that my cleaning needs will be met.

The day of the booking comes, I receive a call from someone stating that I haven’t entered my card details in, I gave the details over the phone, desperate for nothing to go wrong today.
Second follow up call from the company; the cleaner is running late. Not great, the movers are already at the house and I need to travel with them to the care home. I’m promised a call back within 30 mins, 30 mins later, they call back and rather flippantly state “sorry there’s no cleaners available, nothing we can do”

So not only have I lost money on the rental deposit but you’ve stressed my ill mother out to a point where we’re having to rush around to clean, that I thought I’d organised YOU to do 2 weeks ago!

On another review site, they state the cleaners called in sick, this wasn’t told to me at the time, only “there’s no cleaners available” so either you’re lying to cover up these bad reviews or you’re lying on the phone to customers.

Absolute scam of a company. Use at your own peril.

These guys employ self employed cleaners! I've used them numerous times! Some cleaners are excellent, and I could not find any faults. And at times some cleaners were useless! At these times I've contacted the office and requested a free re-clean! To put right, what should have been done in the first place. The owners gladly sent someone to re-clean. They are always willing to resolve any problems. All I can say to the cleaners that do care,keep up the good work! And I say to the bad cleaners please take a little more pride in your job! I give this company 9/10

Horrendous service, avoid at all costs. £180 poorly spent.

I booked an end of tenancy cleaning service with Fresh Cleans. The cleaner was due to arrive at 10am. At 9.50am she called me to say she would be an hour late. Eventually she arrived at 11.20am. She then complained numerous times that there was no kettle. I assumed this was for hot water for the cleaning and explained there was hot water in the tap. Turns out it was for a cup of tea. She even asked me to go to my new property to get the kettle so she could have a cup of tea. The end of tenancy clean obviously suggests I had moved all of my things out and I felt this was quite rude to be demanding a cup of tea.

The cleaning service itself was awful. The cleaners left all the rubbish in it flat including empty spray bottles of cleaning products they had used.

Following up with management on this has again been dire. I emailed asking for their 48 hour reclean service, to which I was told someone would contact me on Monday. No one did. I followed up with an email asking to be called by 10am on Tuesday. This did happen however it was just to tell me my complaint was with management. An emailed arrived on Tuesday at 4pm asking for my availability for a reclean. Unfortunately by this point I'd handed my keys back to my landlady, who has employed another cleaner, for whom I also have to pay for. I have explained this to Fresh Cleans, and have asked for my money back. I called again on Wednesday and whilst the lady I spoke to seemed sympathetic, she told me she'd call me back within a few minutes once she'd spoken to the management. Needless to say I never got call back and at this point they stopped replying to emails. Do not use, spend your money elsewhere

undoubtedly the worst job by so called professional cleaners I have employed. I booked for a 'deep clean' and arrived to one bloke with little suitcase outside who then proceeded to unfold a £30 vacuum from Amazon and get out a few sprays. if you have a small suitcase they of course you won't have space for a mop, bucket, cloths or anything any normal cleaner would bring with them. They arrived at 10 and had gone by 2 having done superficial cleaning (windows mostly) missing obvious dirt and dust, cobwebs and completely ignoring other areas. I was quite £205 for cleaners (not a cleaner with a small suitcase) to do a deep clean. This wasn't even acceptable for a weekly touch up. What is funny is they then tired to claim the gardener was the fault and would have been okay if they could have come back again. This is a Mickey mouse fake business - avoid at all costs.

They do a great job though you have to be somewhat flexible. The value is very good.

I left this review last year 21 Nov 2022. The company has commented on the review stating that they have reached out. Yet I and fellow employees have yet to be paid. My previous review was removed by Freshcleans as they deem it harmful to their company. I should agree with them. No one wants the world to know that you employ remote workers but fail to pay them. Its been a year now and I am yet to see my full pay. So too 5 other South African employees.

21 Nov 2023: I worked for this company for quite a while. After month end I enquired about salaries and was told it will be delayed.
Its been 3 months and now Im told there was no proper handover or notice period. Who works a notice period if your pay is behind two months?
This company is a scam. A cleaner is still waiting to be paid for het July jobs. They are scam artists making money off those from abroad. Stay away!"

Pay the staff the money you owe them instead of paying people to leave fake reviews.

The cleaner has only three products; fairy, Flash and white vinegar!! She was trying to clean the toilet but with these cheap products she couldn’t. She left both sink and toilet not very clean! Normally I am paying 32 for other cleaner and they usually leave the toilet very very clean. Not happy at all this time I paid more than usual 42 £ for only 2 hours and the cleaning was not perfect at all.

They came to clean the kitchen and bathroom as we were moving places and our landlord asked us to be professionally cleaned. They were on time after they finished they called me to go and check they work but unfortunately, I did not. I checked it briefly and they had only cleaned what was visible. I got the report from the landlord and their cleaning was unacceptable. They never send me a receipt called them multiple times but never responded. Now we have to pay another agency to clean it. Asked for a refund never responded. I would not recommend this company. Avoid them.

Regrettably, I find myself penning this review, something I had wished to avoid. When I first began my journey with Katie and Sean, I was filled with optimism. Their company, which predominantly hires its support staff from South Africa, projected a genuine sense of empathy and care for its employees. However, over time it became evident that their priorities lay elsewhere - vacations, indulgent lifestyle, and pet breeding - rather than in ensuring their staff's compensation.

My first month's salary was halved, a circumstance I initially accepted. Yet, as this pattern continued over subsequent months, the company fell behind in fulfilling its financial obligations to me, eventually owing me over two months' salary. Ultimately, I was compelled to tender my resignation due to consistent non-payment, though I honored my commitment by working through my full two weeks' notice.

Katie assured me multiple times that my pending dues would be settled, her promises documented in emails and messages. Yet, the situation left me unable to afford Christmas presents for my loved ones, and I had to borrow money to tide over this period. I'm still struggling to pay off this debt. My former colleague, Janine, had an even more dire experience, losing her home due to the company's non-payment.

Regrettably, I am not alone in this experience. It seems that Katie and Sean exploit the vulnerability of South African employees, leveraging the difficulty of claiming unpaid wages from a UK-based company. The trust and goodwill of these employees are seemingly exploited, with promises of payment only to be let down in the end.

I fear this review might be drowned out by a flood of potentially artificial reviews, a tactic previously employed by the company to counter negative feedback. Astonishingly, I was asked to fund these 'fake reviews' and was never reimbursed.

Towards the end of my tenure, Katie assured me that she and Sean were not malevolent and would honor their word. However, this promise was, regrettably, unfulfilled. For those considering engaging with Fresh Clean's services, I urge you to reflect on their history of exploiting their workforce, including domestic staff.

The experience left me deeply disillusioned with Katie. Her cheerful exterior belies a different reality - one of selfishness, deceit, and cruelty. It's a painful reminder that appearances can sometimes be misleading, and trust can be misplaced. I can make one recommendation with certainty, do not trust Katie and Sean, nor their company Fresh Cleans.

So madly in love with your Cleaning that I wanted to leave a review! I chose a clearing company for a long time, I liked the cleaning expert the most for the price and reviews, and now I trust only you! Very high quality, the cleaners are always friendly and pleasant, some positive emotions from cleaning! I can imagine how much effort and time I would spend on cleaning of this level and I am glad that there is such a wonderful company in Kazan, where real home cleaning professionals work!

Definitely recommend Fresh Cleans! I considered different options, but settled on them and never regretted it! A very polite manager, discussed all issues, clarified everything and chose a convenient option for me at a very good price. A woman came at the appointed time, was not late, and did everything 100%. Everything shone and shone, and I was able to devote this time to myself. As a result, a very clean house and a satisfied hostess!)) 10 out of 10!

I would like to thank the company 'Fresh Cleans' for the quality service, everything was at the highest level! The polite manager competently orientated on all issues, the cleaning lady cleaned everything quickly and efficiently, after cleaning everything in the house shone. Very reasonable price for this quality! Definitely I will contact the company 'Fresh Cleans' again. I advise!

They work quickly and after them only cleanliness remains. I work from home and hardly go outside and it got so dusty that it was hard to breathe, but now everything is fine!

I was referred by a friend that used this company and i loved the way they cleaned. Will definitely continue using their services.
