I ordered milk kefir and water kefir grains. Both quality products that I've enjoyed using for several weeks now. The instructions for each are good.

Easy ordering, arrived quickly, and I selected an ‘ugly’ scoby, it was perfect and has done exactly what it should

Kefire culture. I followed the instructions to the letter, but all I got was an increased amount of the culture and some rather unpleasant-tasting liquid. I repeated it with the strained culture, as suggested, twice, and got the same result. A waste of money, and a waste of milk.

I have a reply saying that kefir should be treated as a medecine, and I should expect it to be unpleasant. What nonsense! I have been making kefir for several years with a dried powder supplied by a firm called Mad Millie's, which unfortunately is no longer available. It is dead easy, and produces a creamy result, looking and tasting rather like a slightly runny yoghurt. I have now bought ready-made kefir from two other sources, and again, it is quite pleasant tasting.

I ordered a kombucha mother from Freshly Fermented but after a number of weeks I cannot get any fizz. I've tried all sorts from the Freshly Fermented guides and even contacted them to get no reply.

Dispatch of grains was extremely slow. It took one week from placing the order for FF to send out the grains. It then took a further week for me to receive my grains. In total it two weeks for me to be in receipt of grains I purchased.

Scoby worked very well and clear instructions on website resulted in delicious kombucha

Good products, clear instructions. Speedy delivery, as needed with such products.
Pricey, but I have yet to see a better place or way to get cultures (other than local barter).

Got some bottles of kefir to drink while my own kefir is brewing. (I’ve had the kefir grains before which are excellent and easy to grow.)
This cows milk kefir is soooo alive!! It fizzes out of the bottle. I always look for ongoing fizz in kefir and other fermented foods. It means it will keep living until you drink it, if drank within date, and will colonise your gut, or indeed wherever else you put it - can also use on bacterial or fungal infections of the skin or mucous membranes.

Divine tasting kefir.I did not need to sweeten it as it was smooth with a lovely bit of tartness! I know it is so good for my gut as I have a much less bloated belly. Well packaged and shipped quickly. Thanks!

The website is easy to use & the instructions are clear.
It did take a week for me to receive my Kefir grains.
I know some of it is down to Royal Mail but paying £2.00 p & p for a small package I would expect a quicker service

Straight forward service to use, clear instructions with keffir grains, and they are producing lots of keffir.

Delivered on time in the condition promised.
Excellent instructions on the website and my Kefir is just delicious, always use goat's milk and it is so tasty.
Had been let down badly by another well known company. I will certainly use Freshly Fermented for all my future supplies. Thank you

For some reason my first batch of milk kefir grains didn't work, but I was sent a replacement when I rang the company. I was able to talk to someone over the phone to discuss what I might have been doing right or wrong, which was very helpful - personalised advice. Anyway, the second batch of grains have been working well and the kefir is thicker and tastier than I was expecting from the website.

The kéfir grains arrived on time and well packaged. I was surprised at how small the package was but should have realised that 5g was not large. It worked and has enabled me to
make some good kefir (It gets better with each new batch) and the grains are multiplying, as promised. 5g makes enough for the two of us.
