Absolutely devastated to see the awful reviews on here. As once I was part of the customer service team at Frog before being made redundant. I worked very hard with the other customer service members... See more

Seriously disappointed by this company
Seriously disappointed by this company. Customer service is non-existent. No answer from emails .
returned a purchase of mudguards and fixings. received a credit note, instead of a refund. Asked twice for refund, no answer. I would avoid using them, go for Islabikes instead, much better bikes and service
Frog 52
I decided on a frog bike due to being a "real" children's bike. Designed for small people they are exactly that. Proper shifters small brake levers and lightweight.
I have had some issue which I will share.
From delivery the front wheel was out of true, quickly fixed by my LBS.
I have had plenty of issues with the tektro v brakes, they are horrible to adjust. Several times I find myself having to dismantle the blocks and using various washers in order to centralise them to prevent binding. The issue appears to be the release spring simply doesn't do its job. I didn't receive 2 sets of tyres, paint or tubes so it seems thats no longer part of the standard spec.
It would also be a major plus if the gear indicator could be removed to allow swapping the shifter to the outside of the brake lever for small hands. A simple blanking plate would do the trick.
If it wasn't for the brakes I would have given 5 stars
A Child's bike should be good.
A child's bike should be good, light and easy to ride and this is what my boys Frog bike is. The 8 speed gears are on a proper shifter not a twist grip which make changing gears light easy and reliable.....no clicking.
Yes is was £100 more than a cheap bike but it comes with two sets of tyres one road one rough terrain. Two spare inner tubes and a small bottle of matched paint for each shade on the bike. Front and back wheels are on a quick release and so is the seat height adjuster. It has good adjust-ability and so buying for our eldest and going to our second boy I think we'll get at least 5 years use. Apparently if rides well on road or off road.....my only problem is keeping up!
