Amazing service, very fast. Never had any problems with it. The packaging also is neat and they offer the cheapest shipping methods to my country that most proxies don’t even offer. I can get all the goods I’ve wanted from Japan now! I’ve been using this proxy for almost three years now and will continue to use it

Terrible, terrible customer service.

If you are frauded into purchasing counterfeits, they will refuse to issue a refund unless the seller (the scammer) approves - which is preposterous because scammers do not voluntarily cancel the transaction.. that’s why they are scammers - or you pay 30 % of the item price as a cancellation fee. I had about 30 emails to and fro with them, and they finally offered to waive the cancellation fee if I agree to the condition that I will never request refunds in the future, for cases outside their plan. (Not to mention the inattention to details, like getting the website’s name wrong, and not thoroughly checking my emails and attachments, but I won’t go deep into that)

I refused, and was thinking about disputing this case to the authorities, when about a week later they just issued a full refund. They never apologized for their behavior.

Under the laws of multiple nations, you have a legal right to cancel your contract if you have been frauded. You do not need to agree to proxy service’s offers which limit your fundamental rights as a customer. The whole experience was devastating.

I would not recommend this proxy, because according my experience, if you have been frauded, they will fight you, the victim of crime, not the scammer.

All shipments that I've received have always been packed safely and came in a timely manner. The most recent purchase of mine was more expensive, had to be held by customs for a while longer than anticipated. Support guided me on what to do and ensure the package would be safe - they would check again on the case afterwards and provided even more help. No real way to accelerate what customs is doing, but it all helped in making sure everything would go naturally. Real glad it worked out in the end.

Just wanted to take a moment to express gratitude towards FromJapan/OneMap for their outstanding packaging standards and service. I have been using this proxy service since 2020; things like LaserDisc players, VCRs, and other vintage electronics with moving mechanical parts have always arrived well-protected, usually double-boxed and/or isolated with styrofoam corner pieces from top to bottom. I have had many rare and collectible pieces arrive safe and sound because of their thoroughness, and so I just wanted to say thank you!

I use it almost every month, and hardly ever had a problem! Reasonable fees, quick shipping, great packaging (bought glass and ceramic), and very responsive support team! Really recommended !

From Japan is my default for all Yahoo Auction and JP Mercari ordering. The customer service is excellent and they really make sure every experience is without issue.

Fair fees, impeccable packaging and handling of the items you order, excellent search engine and clear website, friendly support and fast shipping even to the other side of the world. There is nothing more you could ask from a proxy.

My items were packaged great and had no damage from shipping. The shipping was also fast and efficient. One of the packages did arrive tampered with and incomplete, but I believe this is the fault of the seller, not the proxy service.

My online purchases just went up in number but I'm spending the same amount. This is because this proxy site has made me save significantly on cost so I'm able to purchase more items. Very happy customer here.

I've been using OneMap/FromJapan for 2 years now, I have made hundreds of orders and had dozens of consignments shipped to me and have not had a single bad experience.

They have bought all of my items extremely quickly - which has not been the case with several other proxy services. This is very important, because some items only remain on Mercari/Surugaya for a few minutes before they are bought by someone else.

Everything has been packed and shipped within 24-48 hours from my packing/shipping request and everything has arrived well-packaged and free from damage.

They regularly give coupons for 5-15% off stores and they give a discount on international shipping fees based upon how much you have bought through them over the last 12 months.

Their fees are pretty much the same as everyone other proxy, but the service you receive is better. I honestly can't fault them.

I just love this website. I see a bunch of cool stuff on mercari from beenos but there's more stuff unavailable to the US in jp.mercari and thanks to One Map From Japan, I'm able to get the link from jp mercari and use it on one map and get the awesome things I love! I'm very pleased with the services and fast customer services. Only thing that bums me out are the shipping costs, but that's not exactly up to them, especially since they offer so many shipping services, FedEx, ups, DHL (dhl is my personal favorite)

My experience with the FromJapan website itself has been great. Support also does their best to help you; I have contacted them several times.

However, I have to take out a star not due to their support or website, but rather due to how complicated the process to split parcels is. I have used other proxies, so I have some experience to compare.

I really hope they can find a way to automate that, so that you can split every kind of parcel if you wish. I would gladly increase the rating if that happens.

Besides that, I think they are great and recommend them.

The communication was excellent throughout the process. They kept me informed of every step of the purchase, packing and shipping process. My instrument arrived within a few days of being shipped. The price for the service was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use this service again.

I had a great experience thanks to the fast and responsive customer service team. They were even able to retroactively apply a delayed coupon, which I really appreciated. It’s clear the company values customer feedback and is committed to continuous improvement.
