A terrible experience - don't print anything with them
A terrible experience! After quite a lot of online searches, I had decided to make an album photo with Fujifilm. It took me obviously, a fair amount of time to make the albulm and once ordered, I got a confirmation email and then nothing else. After a month, I enquired, and they told me that the album was stuck at the border and they would send a new one. After some time, I asked again, and the person just refunded me without asking what I wanted to do. I then insisted that I wanted them to print the album and send it as I really didn't want to have to do the album again. After many back and forth, they told me that the album was in my basket but wasn't, which I showed to them with a print screen. Now, they told me that they don't have the album and that they can't do anything about it. What a waste of my time! I will never order from them again, and neither should you!
Shocking behaviour
I wanted to buy a Fuji X-T50 under a Black Friday deal. Every camera shop in the UK has these deals until midnight on 6th December. Shamefully, and without advance warning, Fuji pulled the deals on 5th December - out of sync with expectations raised by end of sale publicity and dates at camera shops.
Fuji has also recently pulled its UK website. This is clearly a company that has no interest in the UK market, and is treating UK customers like dirt. Avoid.
Avoid Fuji and shop elsewhere
Unfortunately, I would avoid buying from this company, or at least investing in them long term. I bought a camera from them (XS-20) and aside from my personal gripes with the camera itself, it broke within 16 months (4 months out of warranty), and the repair service from Fuji was quoted at $600 dollars! Fuji customer service was less than helpful/ understanding about trying to help me and told me that I should't charge the camera via USB even though its the only way I was instructed too. There is too much/ better competition out there nowadays to have to deal with finicky cameras/ difficult customer service. AVOID and shop Sony, Cannon, etc.
The "NEW" app is worse than the old…
The "NEW" app is worse than the old one. And the old one was bad enough. I can't wrap my head around it. In 2024, not to be able to upload images on your phone is a disgrace. Sorry, FUJI. You're software and customer support are garbage and we are having a break up. And not a nice one.
Product support hit and miss
Had a few experiences with Fujfilm, in some ways good they respond quite quickly to problems and questions, in other ways not ideal. I had one camera returned 3 times to fix a problem, and clearly there were some issues with the service of this camera. That's not really acceptable, but I give Fuji credit they did try to make amends with supplying another camera as compensation for a somewhat iffy service effort. I've taken this into account with the review.

My new x-T50 was having issues so I sent it to the camera repair department to be evaluated. Fujifilm sent me a brand new body within 24 hours. With that kind of service, Fujifilm has a customer for life!

Great Experience with Fuji
I emailed Fujifilm UK on how to get a replacement drawstring bag for my GF lens which I lost. I received an answer in 24 hours and I was sent one free of charge by DPD overnight. I’m really impressed. Thank you.
Cashback is not payed out at first
Suddenly I seem to get my cashback!
I am super happy with the product and it was just a sad thing they didn’t follow through on the cashback.
Cashback is not payed out.
Even though I asked for the status of the claim, several times, I was told my bank details were not valid? I then resubmitted the correct details, but just received a mail saying the promotion has ended and that I would not get my money

Good gear, awful support
Purchased a lens which did not focus correctly. Sent it in for repair, came back worse and, had a lens control error. Sent it in again, error and focus was fixed but OIS was incredibly noisy. I asked support to pay for shipping this 3rd time and they said “No, Fedex drivers need to be paid too”. Left a message for a manager to call me, never heard back.
Fuji makes good gear, good luck if you ever need a repair. Awful company.
Zero Support from Fujifiljm- VERY POOR SERVICE
The plastic door latch on my XP200 has broken. This was a refurb from Fuji sent as a replacement after my 1st XP leaked from new. Great camera, now quite old but wanted it repaired if possible. Went to UK support website (actually seems to be in Germany now?) and access to repairs only possible with a s/n. As a refurb mine had no s/n so sent a support request via their online form. 10 days later still no reply, sent a second request - this time a few days later I got an automated reply saying they would try and respond in 3-5 working days. They didn't, so sent another request - this time the automated reply appeared next day saying they would try and reply in 3-5 working days AGAIN. So after 3 requests and now approx 3 weeks they have not even answered the simple query - IS IT REPAIRABLE? Fuji used to provide great support now it appears non-existent. Will not buy another Fuji device because of this after having had Fuji digital cameras since the MX1700 in ca 1998.
I sent my XF33 1.4 for repair on 12th…
I sent my XF33 1.4 for repair on 12th Jan, it has been almost three weeks but they haven't fixed it. I have to chase them everyday to get an update on the repair and the staff were never helpful. Now they're waiting for a part to arrive so they could fix it. What makes me really angry is that the lens is still in its warranty period, but they refused to offer free repair because they found a mark of drop, which happened 7 months ago. The lens was functioning all normally after the drop so it's very unlikely to be the reason. However, they insisted the error of the lens is linked with the drop. Just saw just the comment above, a barely new lens having the same problem needs to have the same part replaced, I'm more confident about it having an actual quality issue. The repair staff answering the phone were so unhelpful and even 'threaten' me that i need to pay for it asap otherwise other lenses need the same part will get fixed in front of me and I need to wait way longer.
Fujifilm lens warranty repair
I sent Fujifilm an in warranty premium lens for repair (used a handful of times) XF33mm 1.4.
They have had it way over two weeks by this stage, and have not been in touch to tell me what was broken and why, what the fix is and when I can expect it back.
I have had to chase them for answers at every opportunity. They provide zero proactive updates and I still have not received my product back! It’s not even been fixed yet they are still waiting for the part. I sent it in on the 10th of January. Today is the 31st.
The staff I spoke with have been unhelpful and disinterested. If as a company I provided a faulty lens to a customer (these things happen) I would want to get the issue remedied asap. All I have been told is that they are awaiting parts and they will fix it and send it back when they can!?!?!
Honestly it’s the worst repairs experience I have ever used! They can’t even tell me what repair they will be conducting or even when?
Shame as I like their cameras however I can’t accept such an immensely poor service.
don’t buy this product
I purchased a fuji film disposable camera for a fun trip with friends to the beach. I was excited to get the results when we go back from the beach, but when i got my pictures back, 90% of them were black. When I tried calling customer service 3 days in a row, i got no answer. I wouldn’t recommend buying a fuji film disposable camera if you want your pictures to turn out.
Poor customer service with irresponsible attitude on bricking my printer
I had a Fujifilm instax share printer sp-2.
Last month, I clicked into Fujifilm's official app and noticed that a firmware update of version 1.21 was available. So, I clicked ‘update’ according to the instruction. However, after the update was completed, the printer was bricked with its LED lights blinking continuously, and it could not be connected to my phone anymore.
I was frustrated and took the printer to the repair centre. Then, I have paid HKD$100 (~ JPY 1740) for merely checking.
After checking on the issue, the technician replied 1) No other similar issues were reported on this fault, 2) I have to paid HKD$680 (~ JPY 11850) if I decide to fix it for the mainboard repair.
I found this reply irresponsible, and the arrangement was unreasonable and unfair to me, as a consumer and a loyal fan of FUJIFILM. It is clear that it is not a wear and tear issue and there is no user error incurred this event, where I simply clicked ‘firmware update’ according to your official instruction. In addition, the technician team failed to explain why the printer is bricking and only asked for repair cost. How am I going to trust this would not happen again and costing me additional cost again?
For your information, this is not a single incidence. If you search 'Instax share sp-2 printer firmware update issue', there are lots more reporting the same issue around the world.
As it is not wear-and-tear issue and no user error incurred, I would request Fujifilm for a free repairment on this issue with the checking fee refunded to me at the return of the printer. I sincerely hope that FUJIFILM could take this seriously, take the responsibility of fixing my printer, prevent this issue from happening again, and give a satisfactory reply. Thank you for reading this and I look forward from hearing from you soon.
I have an fujifilm XT-20
I have an fujifilm XT-20, is an good camera, video quality is excellent but the audio that is recorded by the body microphone of the camera isn’t so good. Audio isn’t clear at all and mostly i have do do a loot of editing to fix the audio. The audio level in the menu doesn’t change at all even i put in the minimum level, still record as it was at maximum level and this isn’t good. Also don’t have an option to see the microphone level in the screen. I hope you realise an new firmware to fix this issues, because is a good camera in general and i want to keep it, but if no i’m forced to changed! Thank you.
Poor service. Absolute disappointment
4 month ago I made a tiny scratch on my X-Pro3 on a wall, on the side of the camera, it never fellt, always maintained with extreme care, it was just a super soft scratch on a rough wall. After 3 month the camera started to have the (super common) shutter issue, while pressing the shutter the camera doesn’t shoot or shoot a bit late. It’s impossible that the two events are linked together.
I took the camera for repair and after 1 month they told me that the damage was done by me (IMPOSSIBLE) and that it is not covered by the warranty. 280€ to pay due to a manufacturing error.
After the amount of money given to this company and this treatment, I will share with everyone my disappointment to Fujifilm, that provide this kind of poor service. What a disappointment.
UPDATE: The camera is back, I didn’t paid anything because Fujifilm changed mind and decided that the issue was under the warranty service.
So good news BUT, the sensor is extremely dirty. So now I have to pay for a sensor cleaning.
Bahhhh.. 🤷🏻♂️
Terrible eyepoint of left EVF cameras
This is a review of the left EVFs. Only my old XE2 works with my eyes, which aren't particularly bad. It is the last left EVF camera to have a 23mm eyepoint. Quite a few others who wear glasses also find the sub 17mm eyepoints inadequate.
I loved the EVF on the amazing XT3, but it is central. I have tried all the latest cameras and all the left EVF ones have a small EVF with a 17mm or less eyepoint (sometimes known as eye relief).
Today I finally ended my wasted years of trying various Fuji cameras and moved to Sony. Even their basic 2014 A6000 is far superior to all left EVF's on Fujis, because it has a 23mm eyepoint, just like the XT3.
I wanted to give 1 point initially, but I love my XE2 and some of the newer film simulations. I hope someone sees this and fixes the issue, otherwise I will be upgrading my Sony and fully switching.
