Received my turbo blanket for my Garrett G25-585 very quickly. I installed it using the provided spring-secure hardware and it went right to work! You can immediately feel the difference from not having one to now, having one. Definitely would recommend to anyone trying to manage the heat in their engine bay.

I custom ordered a Exhaust blanket for my Fiesta St with a tubolar exhaust manifold for S280 turbo. I recived the blanket 6 keep after the order, I was astonishing on the quality. I highly recommend this company for anyone who cares about heat management.

Spoke to the team about issues I was having with heat management. Their team suggested products that would help, I purchased heat shielding, sleeving and exhaust wrap and it’s certainly made a difference! No issues when racing now, under the bonnet temperatures reduced, couldn’t be happier!

Very good customer support, in order to find the right product, for your exact setup. Excellent products that helps keep a more consistent IAT, which means more power for a longer time. I'm super satisfied with the blanket for my manifold and turbo, the thermal tape for my air intake box and the thermal socks/tubes for my hoses and wires.

I bought a turbo blanket about a year ago and since have been in contact with Funk Motorsport regarding a custom exhaust blanket for my manifold.

The guys at Funk Motorsport had a wealth of knowledge when I was trying to find the right products for my Evo 9 Rally car. I was struggling with my engine being too unreliable due to excess heat. After listening to their advice about what products to choose, and seeing their collaboration with WRC teams, I went for it!

Gold sticky backed blanket to protect me, the driver, a turbo blanket and custom downpipe blanket and some heat sleeving to protect my hoses. These have made a huge difference.

The quality of the products is amazing, the speed they got it out, and their knowledge - amazing! Sean was so good with all of my questions.

Bought some heat management products for my mk7.5 GTI. Customer service was top tier in terms of guiding me to the right products, shipping was fast, and my package came to me secure an in one piece. It's no secret Funk Motorsport is a top dog in the heat management world, and their customer service speaks for itself.

I've been a customer of Funk Motorsport since 2018. The guys Ryan and Steve were always so helpful to me when I had any questions and were happy to give advice where needed. I've used the majority of their heat management products at this stage, on high horsepower drift builds and never have had any issues. Highly recommended 👍

They only focus on selling. Costumer service ZERO. If you ask them a serious difficult question. They just dont anser !!! Even after mailing 3 times and even copy pastes the mail history in fb messenger. They still dont answer. Not even a apoligy and the cant deny i did send it cause of the screenshots in messenger. BE WARNED !!! They only want your money and they never heard of costumer service !!!!

Bought one of their mk3 turbo blankets and absolutely blown away with the quality and how good value for money it is. Thing looks epic in my engine bay and really smartens up my turbo. Delivery was quick to the UK, shipped same day. Very impressed!

So I found these liers after a quick Google search. Their products seemed to be worth the price. But...

First it was very suspicious that they offered exactly same product for different generations of engines for BMW. But BMW uses different turbos functionality not to mention size across different engine iterations. Mainly N63 and N63TU, N63TU2 etc difference. Later I discovered that blanket fit will be different and not snug at all. These guys are very incompetent technically. Seems like they don't even know these differences exist.

Then I decided to ask them if they can declare at a lower price for me. Because paying almost double the price on top of already high amount wasn't in my plan for marginal gains. Ryan - their support and also a director said: "Yes it's possible only if you'll choose FedEx or DHL shipping method". I was happy that they do that and went ahead to order.

The difference between FedEx / DHL and budget shipping cost is roughly 45€. I wasn't in a rush to get my blanket but I had to choose the expensive option to be able to declare lower. I then searched online and found a -10% coupon I applied during checkout. I also added a note to my order reminding them to declare low at a mentioned value with clear instructions. I also sent them an email to order@ and info@ email addresses reminding about the declaration favour and asking to confirm the value.

Next day got a notification email from them that my order is on the way. But no reply over the email. I decided reach over using online chat. Ryan quickly responded saying not to worry and that they declared lower than the actual amount but he couldn't confirm the exact declared amount.

The very next day I received a notification from FedEx that I need to declare my order. There was also a Commercial Invoice attached with the declared amount. Aand... WTF!? It's actually declared HIGHER then what I even paid initially. No.. seriously. I was so mad... I have a long history of purchasing from all over the world for 17 or so years, but this is THE First time I got screwed that badly.

The actual amount I paid including shipping was 411,60€ but these idiots wrote 472,17£ in the declaration. I checked for added services and found nothing. The purchase invoice and commercial invoice both have exactly same lines but amount is clearly different.

I then reached Ryan over the chat explaining the problem but he completely ignored me for hours. Then I reached them from a different device using a different name and he answered within seconds.

I later found a few reviews mentioning bad fit, damaged product upon arrival, their refusal of support and lies. What do you expect from a 2 person company? They just source the materials from China, most likely make their stuff there as well and sell it for several time more at home. Well done, idiots. Don't give these liers a chance unless you want to deal with all that BS.

BTW. I have screenshots of Ryan chat support saying he will declare low, of him confirming low declaration. And then ignoring my messages. If you live outside of UK then prepare to pay almost double of what price you actually see during checkout. Import tax / VAT tax, service fees, duty and commodity tax. Also you will have to find a suitable broker and use their services for an additional hefty amount of money (90€ in my case), because only brokers can declare high value parcels by local laws. You can also refuse to accept the parcel but shipping fee (both back and forth) and a restocking fee of 10% of total cost will be deducted from you initial purchase amount.

That's how Funk Motorsport make their money. With lies and false promises. You would expect top quality service for that price but you won't find it here. This is the first time I've been screwed like this in 17 years. Even Chinese shady sellers are more transparent and trustworthy than this 2 clowns company.

So things gone wrong even more. These blankets didn't fit my N63TU stock turbos. You suppose to cut or completely remove the original heat shield. Wow thanks for telling me this after I received my order, Funk. They swear that this blanket is more efficient at blocking the heat from turbos than this OEM part. Well this might be true but... There's also heat coming from the downpipes. This heat shield is the only parts that blocks it. Otherwise even hotter than before air is coming through, frying hoses and plastic parts under the hood. Plus these blankets block the turbo blow off valves because they are so thick and space is so tight. The car shop mechanic said it would be an expensive and a very bad idea to actually fit these.

So I decided to return these with the original packaging, booklet, sticker. Blankets were returned in pristine condition. These scammers deducted 80% and refunded me 97,62€ out of 411.60€ I paid.

STAY AWAY!!!

I bought a turbo blanket from Funk When I received it I was super impressed with their quality and everything….just Top notch!

Unfortunately to my disappointment, the blanket couldn’t be secured due to the incorrect size although the size that was recommended by their salesman as per my vehicle info.

I reached out to them and initially they said as long as it fits it’s not necessary it has to be secured but if I am paying big bucks for a product I want the correct size. They wouldn’t even admit that they made an error.

However later they were happy to replace/refund but I would have to bare the International shipping cost both ways and customs charges which is almost the cost of the blanket and there is no way I’m buying another one.

So be very sure before buying from Funk and don’t trust what their salesman tells you.

Shady company, buyer shop elsewhere. Bought online from this company, paid over $100 for shipping only to have some scammer calling saying it would cost $25 more to deliver. Denied giving my card information over the phone and now this junky company is keeping that money. If u don't live in Europe, don't purchase anything from them.

Couldn't rate highly enough. So rare these days to find a product that lives up to the hype. The product itself far exceeded my expectations and when I damaged it they sorted me out some repair material. Customer service was fast, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Since I started using this company, i am been having such a good experience with everything, from the moment you buy a product, customer service is excellent, I will give more starts if I could.
Is hard to find reliable companies like this one.
