Great Candidate Experience

Past reviews do not reflect the recent experience I had with Fused4. Their consultants are friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and informative. They keep an open communication channel throughout the recruitment process, updating you on progress and listening to feedback. They are professional and caring, which in the current world of recruitment can be lacking some what. In essence, they look after their candidates and put them first. Thank you for the great service and support I received, and I wish you continued business success in the future.

Fused4 - employement scam/fraud

Fused4 is a scam! They are fraudsters and criminals, possibly originating from the USA!
They prey on job seekers in UK. They find your details on a real job board such as MyCVLibrary, then they contact you by phone on the pretence that they have matched you with a job, and invite you to create a profile on their website, after which they say the employer will get in touch for an interview. The telephone call (from UK mobile number) is very believable (they say they are an employment 'network' not an agency) and they sound very professional and have a well spoken English accent, but my suspicions were raised as the promise of an interview (with US based employer/interviewer for job based in UK) sounded too good to be true! The subsequent e-mail invitation to create a profile is a standard e-mail and does not look professional! This is a scam to harvest your personal data and gain access to your bank account! Possibly they already have your DOB from your Companies House listing if you have previously worked as a contractor and used a Ltd.Co.
When you create a profile they will obtain more personal info and password / memorable words from your profile. Possibly also their website cookies may be more than just cookies! And if/when you agree to a remote interview with the so called 'employer' (who i was told was based in USA), then whilst you are on-line they will gain remote access to your PC and attempt to access your on-line bank account (or simply ask you directly for your bank account details, on the pretence of paying you your wages/pay). I was lucky and realised it was a scam before creating a profile! They had me on their 'hook', but I luckily escaped their 'net' (scam) !
Google search results for Fused4 intentionally try to reassure you of their trustworthiness in respect to their data protection/privacy/cookies. And their Linked-in Profile (in particular their news feed/posts) looks fraudulent and has probably stolen other peoples identities/photos!

Only use if outside IR35

I have worked through these guys for a while now, and while they are fine, the umbrella companies they use are so terrible, I am starting to look for a contract with *anyone* else.
If you are outside IR35 and can avoid the umbrella companies, they're probably fine, but if you are inside IR35, woe betide you.
I have even had to report one of the umbrella companies for fraud, so I probably can't really recommend these guys.
