Having seen the high standard of installation by Future Power Team ony sisters home we decided to look at solar panels for ourselves. Future Power Team have been excellent all the way through the process, unlike other national power companies who quoted, Future Power Team - Kane, took time to understand what we wanted to achieve and design a bespoke system for us even advising against some additional items which would have been unnecessary cost.

Every question was answered in detail and their engagement has been excellent, keeping us informed regarding progress with DNO

Installation was efficient, professional, completed exactly as planned and to an excellent standard, any subsequent questions were promply answered by Scarlett, Kane and the Future Power Team

Overall the cost was competitive with other similar quoted but what makes Future Power Team stand out is their reliability, honest approach and understanding of customer requirements.

We would definitely recommend to anyone considering solar or battery power

Future Power team have installed the full solar system and batteries to our house. From start to finish they have been easy to deal with. Knowledgeable, informative, supportive, efficient and competitive on price. They have been a great to deal with all-round. The management, the admin team and the fitting team included. On each arranged visit they have arrived when they said they would, been polite and helpful and respected our property. They are even helping me in my dealings with Octopus Energy. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone who is looking for a solar energy system in their own house.

We had been deliberating about getting a solar system for many months and eventually decided to go ahead in October. We got quotes from a few different companies including the Future Power Team and decided to go with them.

We had a fantastic experience from the start to completion of our solar system installation. The communication was very timely and effective from all of the team.

Kane was wonderful with us including visiting us twice to answer all our questions. He spent time going through each question we had and also provided detailed explanations reflecting his knowledge and experience in this area. This provided us reassurance that we have all the necessary information to make an informed decision about getting a solar system. His advise was also highly personalised to our current situation (only 2 people at home, mostly in the evenings) and gave options on what can be added/optimised if things changed/planning for the future.

We had some queries about the battery when using the solar app following installation which they promptly replied.

A very poor place to work. They advertised for centre agents *No Experience Needed* in this case that went for me, but what wasn’t mentioned was that it cold calling and if you don’t get enough leads within your first week they let go of you without a second week to try and improve. If you get a cold call from the Yorkshire Solar Team saying we’re “in your area” it’s BS. Employment is serious for some families, not something to be toyed with. But we’re not allowed to mention Future Power Team on the phone due to them not being licensed to have a cold calling site.

After Kane's comments about me not knowing what i was talking about felt like updating this review after 12 months in service.
He either hid a lot of facts from me or lied, when I helped him plan the system I said I wanted enough battery back up to last 2 days without solar power, this we did do, TO mr great cost, he did say this way a grid tied system, what he did not say was that if the grid was not getting enough green solar power it would drain my system and it did not prioritise my system it prioritises the grid. Thus meaning it with not feed my system as promised and it also drained my battery back up. To the effect through one night when the sun does not shine it took over 2Kw from my batteries and left me paying for electricity when I had enough back up power to last the day. It also feeds the grid before fully charging my system. Total con i feel as I made my case very clear. Typical sales technique, no concern for the end user,just out to make money at any cost. Also he told me I couldn't have a total back up, but you can actually take one source from your system I.e 1 socket to run an emergency item I.e freezer. So I wonder who actually knows the most, or is the most genuine
As per Kane's response I do know how it works. But had i not he should have done as promised and come show me.
But as to my system he said the house got priority it does not as I have a 6090kw battery system and instead of filling that before the grid it will send to the grid before filling the batteries, so today my batteries are at 66% and it's sent 1.5kw to the grid so the batteries will be drained by morning. I pay 0.29 pence to buy and 16.5 to supply so it costs me although it produced enough to fill my batteries. Not sure he knows how it works. Very disappointing.
Be warned this grid based system even drains your battery back up system if you have one fitted !!!
IF WHAT WHOEVER WROTE THIS DID ACTUALLY TELL THE TRUTH AS KANE SAID THE SYSTEM WORKED BETTER IN APRIL ON 6 PANELS THAN IN JULY ON 13 PANELS.
IF I HAD A COMPANY STILL WHICH AT 71 YRS OLD IS A BIT MUCH I WOULD GO BACK TO THE CLIENTS HOUSE AND DO WHAT HE PROMISED TO SHOW ME HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM , WHICH HE DID NOT. MODELS SELDOM WORK IN REAL LIFE. ASK THE GOVERNMENT
Have to say i was very surprised, the after service is a SHAMBLES I spent 4 hours with Kane debating what i needed and the difference between kw and kwh, i called Lee who was very helpful and agreed the system was not producing what I paid for. The over specified the system to get what Kane said I needed so I could recup my cost quicker. I had a 5.5 kW system fitted which should recupe my money in 7 years.
Last 2 days has been brilliant sunshine with no clouds and the system has only produced 3.2 kW no where need the 5.65 totally predicted. When I called Lee he agreed it was not producing anywhere near what was quoted. Easy to work out 13 panels at 435kw each. When I rang the office Scarlet was very helpful said she called Kane he said it was working OK. Scarlet called me back telling me what he said I gave her the information and she agreed it was not working correctly and said Kane would ring next day, guess what no call disgusting as the system has not been in 12 months and worked better on half a system than it does now. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS SHAME I RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY
Rubbish as i expected i k ow exactly how it works, juggling figured never once made the expected output. I myself requested and paid for more than was recommended. I'm really surprised when people say calls are recorded Why?? And why wax i not informed my conversation was recorded? Believe that to be illegal without my permission, but both Lee and Scarlet did agree with my assumption. Just goes to show I never got shown how to use the app as promised. Kane never once called back to see how it was working and explain any questions. We stated with Kwh and Kw not we have Kwp and believe it of not Uv rays, my God will have to put sunscreen on panels. Bumf Short of all this is know it does not give consistent 5.5kw Kane is trying to twist what people say because the system does not work. I have a 5.65kw system feeding a 6.90kw battery system and it does not work with a 3.2kw usage. Please be very careful because like me you will still pay for electricity and it will not pay for itself in the 7 years he promised. ASK him why he uses 3.9kw panels and fits 4.35 to customers houses? And if you check the app provided it actually links to Octopus electricity, like a other review he does not standby the system, because it doesn't work. Take the money even told me he could have billed me for three days when I was let down by builders. Great company

It really is time to tell others who intend to use the services of Future Power Team some truth about the services. I decided 6 months ago to buy a complete solar system with installation from the company. My first contact with this team, I liked everything about kindness, honesty, people of their word, etc. The beginning with the installation was very fast from setting up the scaffolding to the very end, the director of this company had a well-organized team that did all the work professionally until the end. I ask the person who installed the solar panels on the roof if I can use his ladder while the scaffolding is there to clear the decisions, he says not to worry, he will do it for me, when he left I climbed the scaffolding and borrowed a big ladder from a neighbor and I was surprised everything was cleaned. Another problem with the octopus company was that they could not install a charger for electric cars because there were some solar system devices installed in the electric meter box. I called the team from future solar energy, a friendly woman told me she would talk to the director and he called after 10 minutes the problem no longer existed because he sent his team to do it so that octopus could finish installing the EV charger. During the installation of the solar system, the director of the Future Power Team came twice just to see how the installation was going. For now, this company should get 10 stars from me, but unfortunately it can't be given more than 5 stars. Very satisfied with the services of this team Future Power Team.

I have to say that Future Power (Kane) has been helpful with the installation, even when it was beyond their responsibility.

If you want a fair priced local installer for Solar, look no further.

Total shambles stay away from them our inverter went wrong after 3 years and they will not replace it.
When they originally installed it . It was installed wrong and Lee would not send anyone for weeks when he finally agreed to send some one the electrician arrived and had to strip everything out and start again because the first installer had totally messed up with it avoid like the plague. Also they will want a hundred and fifty pounds for coming that's the first hr out if your over the two years of installation from new . That's in front too.

Having been let down twice by previous installers I tried Future Power Team, I was sold a slightly smaller roof system than originally enquired about, seemed helpful/knowledgeable/honest, install of an acceptable standard and site team helpful even though they didn't clear the site afterwards. I accept some elements of registering the system are out of their hands but they do not appear to have registered with MCS and as I have NO certificate I cannot receive any SEG payments. DONT pay in full until they complete ALL of their side of the contract as their promises are of little value !

I was very happy with the speed and workmanship of my solar panel installation. The scaffold was erected swiftly and the panels were fitted very efficiently. The fitters, electricians and office staff are all very good. I was taught how to us the App (no easy task when you are computer illiterate). Andy was lovely and so helpful as was Kane. I live in Hull and am happy with this company.

The service we have received from The Future Power Team Ltd. Has been exemplary.
When I discussed with Kane about the timings for installation as the panels were going on the Beauty Salon Roof he made sure there was as little disruption as possible.

All the people involved from quotation, to the electrical installation, to James and his team installing the solar panels and the bird-guard, and the office staff, we had excellent service from all.

Had solar and battery installed in December. Really impressed with quick install, everyone we dealt with was really helpful and kept us in the loop with what was going on. Plus we've saved a noticeable amount already. Would definitely recommend.

I have used the company three times: installation of solar panels, boiler and most recently back up power batteries. Their customer service is really v good. They are well connected with services providers in different parts of the country. What I like most is that they are not pushy but patiently answer all questions I have. Queries are answered quickly. I have no hesitation to recommend them
