Original Post 09/10 (2023): IF I COULD GIVE THIS A LOWER RATING I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS.
APPARANTLY I WAS SENT A CODE FOR A DIFFERENT REGION ("ARGENTINA") WHICH MICROSOFT WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO REDEEM.
AND THEN WHEN I REACHED OUT TO THE SELLER I WAS ACCUSED OF USING THE CODE.
I SPENT WEEKS GOING BACK & FORTH WITH THESE CLOWNS.
NO ONE WOULD HELP ME GET TO A RESOLUTION.
AS OF NOW I HAVE REACHED OUT TO MY BANK TO FILE A DISPUTE CONSIDERING NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO RESEND THE CORRECT CODE OR REINBURSE THE FUNDS.
G2A IS CLEARLY A SCAM SITE.
I WILL BE USING MY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND STREAMING/VLOG SITES TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE AND A FORMAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.
ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE.
I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THIS SITE STILL RUNS OR IS "IN BUSINESS".
Edit 09/11 (2023): Actually, let me thank you in advance Lana with gta because it’s too late now. You had your chance. And by you, I mean the several people that I have reached out to for help. I have been trying to get a resolution since May when the purchase was made. I will not bother wasting anymore energy. Saves us both the trouble and time. It’s not like you’ll do anything anyway. Clearly, you’re just upset that you have yet another 1 star review on your page. The funny part is your overall ratings are at 2 stars. No surprise. Keep up the great work smh.
And you know what the funniest part about this whole thing is… is that I received an email yesterday requesting for my review. So here it is🤷♂️. Months later. Clearly overdue.
By the way all of these 5 star reviews are fake, probably either got paid to put a 5 star rating or they work for the d4m company.
Update 09/12 (2023): G2A attempted to have my review removed due to "Legitimacy".
I quote from trust pilot- "g2a.com has flagged your review because they don't think it's based on a genuine experience. To keep your review online, we need to ask for your help."
I can only laugh out loud that they are more worried about having my review removed entirely rather than coming to a resolution in the first place.
As of now I have copied the original post then deleted it and created this one to update the review.
Update 09/12 (2023): G2A since you want my order number so bad that you attempted to have my review removed for not providing it, request it once again and I will give it you. But let me just be clear about one thing this review is not going to change unless you reimburse that order. So, if you want to continue wasting both of our time go ahead. And hey since you have chosen to try to have my review removed prior, I will be monitoring the status. Come on gta do better smh.
Update 09/14 (2023): No Lana, just so I can clarify sadly your company cares more about trying to remove negative reviews rather than resolve them. Everyone I've come in contact within your company has been utterly useless. But now all of the sudden you want to move heaven and earth for this order number, otherwise my review gets taken down. Well guess what it’s not going to work, the order number has been provided per your many requests. So, I guess my final update will be to share with everyone how you unsurprisingly did nothing at all with the information you so deeply desired.
Update 02/15 (2024): I guess no news is good news. And to be honest I actually kind of forgot about this. Considering there was no response or anything done to resolve this. Either way I’m not surprised. Ultimately all I can say is save yourself the trouble and stress and stay away from this scam of a company or whatever you classify this as.
Update 09/18 (2024): My original trust pilot account got banned. I reached out to TP to explain how outrageous it is. They never responded it's been 2-3 months now. So, I created a new account to repost this review. I will not stop this review will not be removed. I will keep reposting until it sticks. F you g2a if you don't like it, you can feck all the way off. POS company.
Update 09/20 (2024): James, I have no idea what you are even on about. I don't even have a PayPal. This entire transaction has already been disputed with my bank who I will not share details of. The only thing I will say is that the charge was reversed and my bank handled the dispute with you. Anyway, I don't your replies. I simply will continue to share this review until it sticks so feck off. Your company failed to come to a resolution several times. And left me no choice but to resort to filing a claim with my banking institution which is not paypal. lmao stop responding I don't give a single feck what you say anymore.

Sold a FAKE key, G2A protects the scammer
I bought an AVG key, but the key was invalid. Official AVG Customer Support confirmed in writing that the key G2A sold me does NOT exist in their system and is 100% fake. I provided this solid proof to the seller and G2A Support. Both ignored me for weeks. I opened a PayPal dispute, but G2A used a technical loophole: they proved they 'sent an email', so PayPal's automated system closed the case, ignoring my proof from the software manufacturer that the key itself was fake. OTYX-989726 gave me false excuses about how refunds are 'impossible' right now, offering no solution. They are knowingly protecting scammers who sell non-existent keys. It is crazy! Do not buy here!

in my experience so far with them, have been bumpy. i tried buying products from them couple of times, sometimes worked but most of the time didnt. the sellers are pure scammers. leaving you on read , giving invalid keys or products and never doing refunds, i am fully ashamed i ever resulted to get work with this site. their support also is very bad, their team takes a very long time to respond to issues with their sellers and or even ghosts you leaving you to issue a complain directly at the bank to issue a refund cause they cant do their job. for next buyers of games, keys or whatever, i fully recommend to avoid G2A and focus on other sites or even buying the products from the source where they actually deliver.

Would Be A Great Site If Not For Poor Moderation
G2A has been very handy for me these past six months as I often received great low deals on the hiked subscription prices many of us gamers are experiencing today. With this, there are also many "sellers" taking advantage. G2A's site leaves many vulnerable to scammers and exploiters in an economy where we're already financially compromised.
When purchasing a subscription key, game, account, trial, etc., make sure you thoroughly read the reviews of the "SELLERS" and description details left under the item you wish to purchase. There have been many times where "sellers" with extremely poor reviews will be tiered at the top of the seller list as if they are reputable because of an convenient price. These "sellers" with hundreds of reviews from customers with the same grievances flies right under G2A's radar as they do not take the initiative to bring their pages down nor provide immediate aid to customers requesting for an investigation into the issue.
If you do attempt to reach out to G2A's support, you have to go through a AI bot named Dave who will then prompt YOU, yes you, the human, to have to wait 5 entire days for a response from an actual human being, giving the "seller," time to ignore contact with you, evade responsibility, and delist their items! :) Please do not fall victim to this because you may never receive your money (or TIME) back! (Yes, I contacted the seller, but like for many others, they will not respond!)
