**AVOID** This auction is a scam selling cars with dodgy assured reports or manipulated reports and on raising grievance shutting you out with bullshit excuses. **AVOID**

Vehicle collected 22/02/23

Vehicle collected 22/02/23. Voluntary repossession on behalf of finance company. Asked if I needed to do anything, told nothing more, they will send "new keeper" section off and it's sorted. 18 months on I'm receiving correspondence from debt collection company for not taxing or SORN-ing the vehicle! Surely had they updated v5 I'd not be in this situation. First vehicle I've ever technically "sold" (despite being a voluntary repossession). Now stuck with a fight with dvla. Nice.

This should be 0 stars!

This should be 0 stars!! This company is an absolute joke. Auctions are a risk but with this auction house the odds are stacked against you. We have won 5 cars and only one was any good, we stopped buying over the net you need to view the cars in person. The assured reports are pants, and done by people who clearly know nothing about cars. You have 96 hours( it think) from when you buy the car to report any faults bare this in mind from when the hammer goes down, to be honest if you have any complaints they are not interested. Short and Corcocan are arrogant. I will NOT be buying from this shower anymore.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!

I just heard about this auction and thought to buy something. created an account. The next-day bid on the BMW Series 3 2014 vehicle won the bid. Right after that, I spoke with customer service to know how to pay as the invoice was not uploaded in the purchase section, although I could see the car. However, I spoke with the lady; she checked it and clearly said i won the car after checking my account and said invoice will be there in a bit. I was waiting for an invoice, and after 45 minutes, when i checked again, they removed the car from my account. When I called them again, the lady put me on a long hold and then disconnected the call I called again, someone picked up the call, and after checking everything, I came up with a lame excuse as they think we don't know how bidding works. They said someone else bid with a nanosecond gap just after me. (where is going once, twice and sold?) I clearly heard it right after my bid, and no bid was there after me. PROBABLY GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE, AS IT WAS A PHYSICAL AUCTION AS WELL. However, they removed the car from my portal, promised that they would contact me, took my details, and never came back. It was definitely the first and last time I have tried to buy something from these people, and I will not recommend them to anyone.

The assured reports are not worth the paper they are written on, PLEASE IF YOU ARE BUYING AN EXPENSIVE CAR GO TO THE AUCTION. Do not go by the assured reports. They do not stand by them and they do not care as long as they get the cars out of the door. After sales/customer relations is shocking.

After service is a shambles

Purchased a vehicle (£11000) with a full mechanic assured report all passed had the vehicle bought to us via transporter to find the engine management light illuminated followed the companies complaints procedure to have no one contact me back after 4 days. We ended up chasing the auction house for an update to be told it's not covered and there not willing to do anything as the light was not on at time of test. However in there assured terms and conditions we have up to 250 miles to log a fault or 48 hours.
Ian short at g3 auction house has no customer service skills as we have had faults the same as this in the past and has always been rectified.

Stay away guys stick to the companies you can trust 👌👌👌

G3 has an incredible set up.

G3 has an incredible set up at their new site in Castleford. The atmosphere is brilliant, and all the staff are professional and can't do enough to help with any enquiry you have. Their website is not only informative but easy to navigate, so not only are they happy to help face to face but this site has everything you could need also.

Without doubt one of the best auctions out there. Also the new site and website is brilliant. As a buyer for a finance provider and the current buying on line due to Covid19, these guys and girls make the whole experience stress free. Got pictures, honest appraisal and great customer care if the is an issue. Out of all the auction sites we purchase from G3 remarketing are definitely the market leaders in remarketing vehicles.

NO MASKS!!!!

Update : A typical carefully worded response, passing the buck. Nevertheless I will be contacting the press, as you being the responsible people for the collection of the vehicle should have made sure your agent was adhering to the expected standards required in this covid-19 time. Pathetic response! Just had my vehicle collected, although the two men were polite here's my problem : why weren't they social distancing and more importantly they were NOT WEARING MASKS! Is it the policy for these guys to travel around and not wear any ppe whilst dealing with the public? I WORE A MASK, WHERE WERE THEIRS? So what is G3's covid-19 policy? Is it the policy of companies like first response finance Ltd. To actively employ agents who do not participate in protecting not just themselves but more importantly the public? Shame on you all!!!!

Reply from G3 Remarketing | Vehicle Auctions

Hi Mr Lloyd,

We have contacted you privately via email regards your review, however, we wish to reiterate publicly our stance in response.

Firstly, we have offered our sincere apologies for the collection experience you have referenced. To offer a nationwide service, we can, and in this instance did, outsource collection of vehicles to a reputable third-party supplier. Regrettably, in this instance we have been let down by the standards of one of these partners and we have now taken measures to ensure this specific instance does not reoccur.

As part of the agreement between G3 and any supplier who represents us, they are to adhere to a strict policy we set out, both pre COVID and during, that involves all employees acting in a responsible, courteous and professional manner towards anyone they come into contact with, that is customers and the general public alike - which you have stated was at expected levels. Latterly this has included the wearing of PPE and adopting social distancing measures to align with the governments requirements on the subject to keep everyone safe. I will highlight now that it is our priority during these difficult and uncertain times to ensure our health and safety guidelines are up to date and practiced, without exception.

I also wish to add that from our investigation and follow-up calls, this has been an isolated incident so I thank you sincerely for bringing this to our attention as we share the same values and opinion. This is entirely unacceptable and as a result, upon confirming your suggestion that the collection agents used for your vehicle were not adhering to the protocols set out in our agreement and by the government, we have suspended said suppliers relationship with G3 for the foreseeable future.

We are confident this was an isolated incident and we have reacted accordingly to both review and reiterate the high standards we expect to see from the partners who represent both G3 and our clients.

We have noted your request not to contact you further therefore we feel we have exhausted all avenues in an attempt to satisfy the situation and yourself however, should you feel you would like to speak with us further, please do so on 0845 1906363.
