Was HAPPY with them for a while..

I have been using them for economic long distance calls to Greece for years. Up until now I have been happy with the service. There was no contract, and I would simply top up my account by purchasing $10 worth of minutes. Today, I dial the access number, and am prompted to enter an access code. This never happened before. So I logged in to my account, go to my dashboard, and see that my account is showing $0 balance. I had just toppped it up before the last time I made a call, and barely used $1 worth of minutes. I should have at least $9 in there. It turns out that they no longer offer pay-as-you go, and is now subscription based, so I lost my remaining balance. I'm assuming this is so based on what I have learned through online research, as I cannot get through to customer support. The right thing to do would have been to honor our original agreement, and allow me access until I have used up the time paid for. If they correct this, I will update my review. I give 2 stars instead of 1 today, based on my previous satisfaction with the service..

Scam

Company: G3 Telecom
Issue: On October 23/3025, I purchased their $10 CAD + tax Long Distance package using my credit card thinking it was a prepaid plan like how I did in the past.
I didn't realize it was a monthly plan until I got charged today Nov.23.

I immediately logged into my profile on their website. Unfortunately, it neither offers an option to cancel the plan nor delete my credit info.

I've been trying to reach their customer service since this morning with no luck. The automated message kept saying I was #1 in the queue for more than 45 mins. I even left my call back number. I am stuck because the only way out is to cancel my credit card and get a new card.
It is so frustrating.
People, stay away from this company!!!

Very poor service

I was using G 3 telecom for many years, but this will come to the end. No customer service. Now every time you want to make it call, I have to enter pin #. This was OK 30 years ago, NOT today. Goodbye G3 telecom.

Horrible been calling all week and no…

Horrible been calling all week and no customer service at all. Nobody answers the phone after being on hold for over an hour. The call drops. I have emailed custserv@g3telecom lets see if they respond. I have requested call back but nobody called.

Not possible to talk to any one for problem solving

Today is Day 3 trying to talk to someone at the G3 Toronto telephone number. Have spent hours waiting to talk to someone and have also requested call back on their system. Three days unable to make contact.
I tried to make a long distance call and was prompted to input my authorization code. We have never had an authorization code and in the past three days it has appeared. When will this be resolved for us? After holding for hours, just got disconnected.

I would have given 0 if it's possible. Worst customer care ever. Once you use their service, they kind of trap you when u want to cancel the subscription. No once answer your phone. There is no way you can reach out to them and cancel. I had to cancel my credit card to stop payment

CHECK and RE CHECK YOUR BILLING!!!! . DO NOT PRE-AUTHORIZE YOUR CREDIT CARD!!! THEY OVERCHARGE SIGNIFICANTLY.
SEE pic attached on Google reviews. Bill of $14.95 becomes suddenly $35. Hey G3, fix your accounting ASAP!!!! And they WILL attempt to change your card again and again. Disgusting customer service. It is impossible to remove credit card info. They are overcharging every month and billing has arithmetical mistakes.
The Worst telephone company I ever dealt for the last 30 years.
