I have been waiting for a refund for nearly a month now. They informed me that they received the return and it would take 14 business days to process this, but after that time had passed, I messaged them and they were quite passive aggressive in their response.They said to wait a further 7 business days and implied this was for my bank to process, with no indication of whether they had approved the refund on their end. Despite now waiting the further time they asked for (nearly a month), I have still not received my money back and they have not responded. It was quite a large amount of money and I am growing extremely concerned I'm never going to get it back. Buyer be very, very aware of this- seems like a very sketchy company .

Excessively long refunds process - over a month since I returned my items and still no refund after 3 requests for information. Tone deaf response from customer services “thank you for your understanding” is the response to every complaint about their entirely cynical approach to actioning refunds.

Gaâla has a horrible service regarding returns. It takes at least a month if not longer until a reimbursement is issued (counting from the day they receive the returned items). I am sure, it would take even longer if I didn‘t keep reminding them.
I am still waiting for a reimbursement for several orders worth 1.000€, which were returned to and received by Gaâla (almost) a month ago. The customer service keeps apologizing and assuring me that my refunds are „on the priority list“ and will be processed soon, but these are just empty words and nothing happens.
As a result, I do not recommend ordering from Gaâla and will never do so again myself.
UPDATE: After „threatening“ that I would open a case with my bank institute and have it retract my payments, it was „suddenly“ possible for Gaâla to issue refunds for all of the remaining returns.

The Appoline Silk Dress, a collaboration from Anna Kloots X Gaâla is the most beautiful and special dress I bought lately. I just love everything about it. The cut, the material, the fit. Before I bought the dress I asked Gaâla for a recommendation regarding the size and the answer came so quickly and was very helpful. The size S that they recommended was exactly the size that fits. The dress came within a few days, beautifully wrapped and put in a special paper box. First time I ordered something but definitely not the last. I am a fan of the brand now. 10/10.
I am so happy with the dress and how comfortable it is. I can't wait to wear it to future events, like my conference. The process was easy and the website was very clear. The mailing was expected to take a little while for they are out of France and I am in the USA. The packaging was so beautiful and will be purchasing from them again.
The service was brilliant from start to finish. Size advice, prompt delivery and beautifully packaged. The quality and cut of the dress is great. Well made and high quality fabric and a beautiful design. I hope to treat myself to another one soon.
I’ve ordered a couple of dresses from Gaala (and own a couple of pre-loved pieces) and I cannot get over how their clothes make me feel! The craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes to each piece is extraordinary. Price tag is premium, however you get premium fabrics (no cheap synthetics), gorgeous designs and fabulous quality. For me personally, it’s the feeling of putting one of their dresses on that instantly makes me feel so feminine and polished! The fact that they do not do mass manufacturing is also amazing, since chances that you’ll bump into someone with the same dress (or any piece of clothing) is very slim. Amazing brand and customer service is also top notch! Always waiting for another occasion to treat myself with one of Gaala’s pieces.
I just love this brand. The dress I bought is just a little jewell and I love wearing it. Highly recommended!

I bought 2 dresses there for now and they are absolutely amazing, they fit well, the quality is outstanding, the flower smell for the one made of rose petals is delightful and the linen is top quality. The delivery was fast and very careful with a very nice and original packaging, it was such a nice shopping experience I'm eager to renew in the future for new beautiful dresses.

I ordered a dress on July 9th but within fifteen minutes read many negative reviews about the quality of the clothing and the unethical business practices. So, within one hour, I cancelled the order only to be told by the owner that I was not allowed to do so and that she would be sending the order anyways. I then read that it costs 60 euros or more to return the order. This is highly unethical and I would recommend to not purchase from this scam artist.
Beautiful clothing, excellent quality. I just got two dresses from them to wear during my pregnancy, they’re absolutely perfect and super comfortable.

Not only is the quality absolutely appalling given the price (one of the buttons of the dresses fell off after not even a full day off wear), the company is also absolutely unresponsive. I tried to reach out to Gaala Paris about initiating a return or exchange (after I was told by the website that I could not, even though according to their own terms, I absolutely could) for a 200 eur product and two months later, they have still not even responded to my request. Money flushed down the drain.
Out of the 4 items I ordered, I was fully satisfied with one - while the designs are beautiful, the quality is incredibly behind the price. If I wanted a cheap polyester dress, I would have gone to a fast fashion brand. Absolutely do not recommend.

I used to love this brand, the first pieces I bought were indeed very beautiful, and high quality, especially the sewing.
Now, very sadly, the quality has changed drastically, and in my opinion is no longer worth the price. It used to be, but not anymore. They mention on the webpage, that the items are: Quote: Craftmanship
Gaâla’s apparel is primarily crafted at our own workshop in Lithuania, allowing us to work closely with our skilled tailors and meticulously oversee every aspect of production.
The last piece I bought is so badly sewn, its bringing tears to my eyes. And it states on the item "made in China".
I am very disapointed and indeed, sad. It used to be a really great enterprice, but now, I dont think I will by again. And sadly, will also not recommend it further.

This is a truly unique brand that genuinely values its customers—not only through the exceptional quality and fit of its pieces, but also through the way it treats people. I came in looking for a dress, unsure of what would suit me, and the sales assistant was incredibly kind, attentive, and respectful. She responded warmly to every question and request, making the entire experience feel like more than just a shopping trip—it was a heartfelt interaction. In the end, I found the perfect dress and two pairs of ballet flats. This level of care is rare to find in Paris. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming little corner of elegance and grace—by far my best shopping experience here. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Unacceptable
I had ordered Gaala items on previous occasions and I generally found that about 75% were worth ordering and 25% were not as advertised. However they did take far longer than advertised.
I made the mistake of placing another order with them a couple days ago only to receive an email claiming that although they sent a confirmation email and charged my credit card for the item, they didn’t have the product and apparently could not make it even if I switched to pre-order. (Odd) Their customer service agent then made a suggestion I’ve never received before from any company, they offered that I accept a different size jacket (which obviously wouldn’t fit me properly). Next, the agent Darya suggested we switch the jacket in a 2-piece set to a different material that wouldn’t match the skirt. The cotton version turned out to be a completely different color which felt like a deceptive suggestion. I opted for a refund.
Then I get a strange response stating the refund would take “a little time”. I asked what that meant clarifying they meant the standard 3-7 days. The response I received was the absurd answer pasted below:
“We would like to kindly let you know that cancellations are treated as returns.
Please allow 7-10 business days for your cancellation to be processed and then 5-7 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.”
This is their response to a refund for a product they charged for but never had in their possession. They overtly admitted to falsely delaying the return of an error charge to take advantage of customers. I now feel this company has shady business practices and will not reorder.
I am going to report to my bank but I would suggest potential customers choose another company.
