I was asked for my name by the server as I was the only customer being served seems unnecessary.

Where's Plan B when tills are "down"?
Besides the over-charging that Gail practices for items like croissants (£2.95!), why close the store when your electronic card-only tils are down? It's absurd that you have no way of taking cash payments. Looks like the all-out expansion of stores is a money-grab, and service is a very secondary consideration. Rest in peace!
