I booked through Galaxy Escapes for a business class upgrade and paid roughly 1,800 CAD to be "first on the waitlist," with a guarantee that if the seat didn't come through, I'd get a full refund. Spoiler: no seat, no refund....at least not without a fight.

When I arrived at the airport, staff had zero record of any waitlist request, and there were no business seats available anyway. So I called Galaxy Escapes, they admitted it, and promised the 1,800 CAD back within two business days. That was over seven weeks ago.
In that time I called more than six separate times. Every single call, I was told the same thing: sorry, your agent isn't available, he only works between 11pm and 5am EST, but rest assured someone will follow up within two days. Nobody ever did. The one exception was a voicemail on June 6 saying the refund would hit my account within two days - which also never happened.

Then on July 16, over five weeks after that voicemail, I was told the refund had actually been "processed on June 6" - and that it would now take another 60-90 days to appear on my statement. Think about that for a second: normal merchant refunds post to a card within 3-10 business days once they're actually processed. If this refund was genuinely processed on June 6, it should have shown up in June, not be quoted a fresh 60-90 day window on July 16 - six weeks later. Either the June 6 "processing" never actually happened and I was told that just to get me off the phone or Galaxy Escapes is simply making up timelines as they go. Either way, it doesn't add up, and it's a textbook stalling tactic.

I only got my money back after escalating a chargeback directly with my credit card company and reporting the agency. Galaxy Escapes also, in my experience, misrepresented itself as an official Lufthansa USA booking partner, which it is not.

If you're looking at this company for anything - upgrades, waitlists, refunds, flights, hotels, vacations - save yourself the seven weeks of runaround and go elsewhere.

I booked a flight with Vincent Smith and this company is a total scam. When the airline scan mt ticket it showed it was refunded to another card tht wasnt mine and for more money than I paid I had to ourchanother ticket for over 800.00 in order to get to ny tried calling Vincent Smith and he was no help. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM

SCAM ALERT!!
On 2/25/26 I booked a round trip flight from Las Vegas to Bahamas for the dates of 2/28/26-3/6/26 in the amount of $610, through galaxyescapes via travel consultant Adan Vargas. I was supposed to receive my tickets 24 hours prior to my flight and I never did.
I arrived to the airport on 2/28/26 to find there were no reservations booked for a flight. After calling multiple times while at the airport I was assured a reservation was available for the same flight that I had originally booked and I would be placed on the flight. In which did not happen.
They were not able to provide the tickets after multiple promises to do so. They said Jetblue airlines had canceled multiple flights due to the war.
I was assured by Adan along with multiple other employees that a refund was issued to back to my card on 3/3/26, and I would receive the funds within 3-5 business days.
On 3/12/26 after not receiving a refund I contacted Adan who assured me the refund was processed on 3/3/26 and I would be receiving it this time within 45 days. I then asked Adan if I can receive a confirmation receipt via email showing the refund was processed. Adan assured me that I would receive a receipt showing the refund was submitted and being processed.
On 4/15/26, after not receiving a refund or receipt. I called back and Adan once again assured me that the refund was processed. However, Adan now tells me the refund wasn't processed until 3/12/26, and I should be receiving it soon.
I then requested to speak to a manager or someone from the payments teams, because, I was told multiple different stories by different agents.
I was told the payments team was an internal team and I couldn't be transferred to speak with them. I again requested a confirmation receipt via email showing that the refund was processed and was assured it would be sent to my email.
On 4/29/26, after not receiving a refund nor any receipts confirming any refunds were issued. I called Adan again, who acted surprised that I still hadn't received a refund. I asked Adan to speak to someone in the payments department who processes the refunds, because his word was no longer valid to me and I no longer believed anything he said. I told Adan I was beginning to feel like I was being scammed due to the different stories I was receiving from different agents. Adan assured me it was not a scam.
Adan transferred me to an agent named Victor who then explained that due to the war Jetblue would be issuing the refund on 6/30/26.
No refund has been received. I have been calling Adan since 7/7/26 and the calls are going straight to his voicemail. I have left messages, and no one has contacted me back.
When I go to the galaxyescapes website there's an Error 404 message that the site cannot be found.

Robert Jones was very helpful in cancelling our SunCountry Flight. He looked up other flights for us. Excellent customer service

I want to notify people, don’t trust the Galaxy Travel LTD Slough GB, they will lie to you as your travel is cancelled and charge you another amount above your ticket price and and after a few minutes as they said they will look you for a new ticket, but they will return your own ticket, which they said, it’s cancelled and if you call back to refund, they will never refund you.
Be careful with this agency.
