25 year old Flymo brought back to life
I contacted Rob through my local Nextdoor Neighbour app. I have a very old electric Flymo mower which hadn’t been used for years and needed servicing and a new suppressor installed. Rob said he would have a look at it. He collected it and the next morning emailed me to say he could repair and service it for me but would keep me informed if anything else turned up. I didn’t have to wait long before it was finished. Rob kept me informed of anything he found during the service such as the air filter which I thought would need replacing. He sourced compatible parts as all the parts are now obsolete and a week later I took possession of my flymo which had been repaired, serviced and fully cleaned (it had had about 25 years of dust on it from sitting in the rafters of the garage). I gave it a go and it worked like a dream. The cost was very reasonable and I appreciated Rob keeping in touch. I felt Rob provided a first rate friendly service, completed the work in a timely fashion and have asked him to now look at my petrol grass strimmer.
