If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would. We have a contract for a biannual service and after their first visit they have left the lift unusable. No response from them despite multiple messages.

Contrasting service from the same company

The admin team responded quickly and positively to my email. This is in complete contrast to their maintenance department, which is lamentably inefficient.

We had a major breakdown on our lift

We had a major breakdown on our lift, the engineer explained exactly what had gone wrong and the approximate price of the replacement parts. Our estimate came in quick and they came within two weeks to fix it.

Extremely satisfied.

Kept very informed about time and what was entailed.
Engineer arrived on time, is the same person as has been here before, very polite and friendly, does job cleanly and with no fuss, explains anything that we wish to know, is reassuring and instills confidence.

Gartec identified a major problem

Gartec identified a major problem, a quote was made and accepted very promptly, but unfortunately the delivery of parts was very slow and our lift was out of action for over 3 weeks, which is an unacceptable delay bearing in mind we have disabled persons who are totally reliant on the lift working. This was not their fault, and the service they provided was excellent, but there should be a more reliable supply of spare parts as we were quoted a maximum downtime of two weeks.

Poor service experience

Cancellation of date given due to sickness of engineer
Delays in visits to site and had to ask for a quicker response.
Once engineer arrived on site and left saying lift was repaired within an hour the lift was faulty again.

If they have occasion to to come for services etc., they are aware my husband has Alzheimer's and go the extra mile for us.

I was very pleased with my last…

I was very pleased with my last maintenance. Your rep was very thorough. He opened up the whole lift and cleaned or fixed all the internal fixings. He cleaned up after himself and in addition he checked all the small things that I thought were odd. I was impressed by his professional attitude to his work. The name of the technician is Mr Pelleymounter.
