Deeply Disappointed as a Parent
As a parent, my experience with Gateacre School has been extremely disappointing. Communication between the school and parents is poor it’s often difficult to get a clear response to even basic questions or concerns. I’ve felt completely out of the loop regarding my child’s progress and wellbeing.
The standard of teaching and overall discipline seem inconsistent. Some staff clearly care, but many appear overworked or disengaged, which unfortunately reflects in the students’ attitude and behaviour. Bullying and classroom disruption are not dealt with effectively, leaving both students and parents feeling unsupported.
I had high hopes when we first enrolled, but sadly the school has not lived up to expectations. There’s a real lack of leadership, accountability, and motivation to improve. I wouldn’t recommend Gateacre School to other parents based on our experience.
