Gateway API

I tried to get going with sinch and twilio. It was kind of hard to get going with them, especially for using alphanumeric sender ID or to even get good responses from support. I dont honestly know the reason, other than I am too small a fish.

So I ended up trying GatewayAPI. and what a blast it have been. From being greeted in a way that made me sure there was a red runner and a glass of bubles waiting for me, only to realize I was at home, in front of the laptop. Anyways.. After talking to them with all of my bizzare questions, and getting them answered, no later than 10 minutes after i had signed up & onboarded, I had already set up and integrated the sms to my custom built CRM and booking system, working flawlessly through API.

You made me loyal to the bone, and I will exclusively use them for everything going forward (unless restrictions on a project prohibits me), because if their other systems/services are as pleasant to use as the sms gateways are, I am happy.

Excellent and fast support!

Last year, I was looking for an affordable SMS provider with a fast and functional API for my web applications. GatewayAPI is such a provider; you only pay for what you use, and their dashboard makes it easy to check how much credit is needed for different countries. Another advantage of GatewayAPI is that they're based in Europe (Denmark). This means that as a Dutch customer, I usually get an immediate answer to my questions. Their team is incredibly helpful, even for customers who rarely use their services.

Rejecting legit URL

They rejected 2 legitimate URLs including my own domain, which has been linked to a live website for over a year.
They even rejected the official WhatsApp URL.
Customer support acted more like police than support. They would rather lose you as a customer than try to find a solution.

Rejecting URL of legit businesses…

Rejecting URL of legit businesses without any explanation. They send you a link to a generic page without any explanation. I do not recommend, they lose your time.

Not serious

Not serious - stay away.
There is lots of other companyes provides same service. Agents in chat is more police than service staff.

16.09: Written on psedonym - Trustpilot can get name and order number from me, if needed. Support is a tragedy.

They're rejecting a legit business…

They're rejecting a legit business without any explanation. I'd rather use my own phone than their service which is completely unprofessional and unfriendly. I hope they'll go bankrupt with this attitude.

We are sorry you had a bad experience using our platform. I have tried looking through our system for any dialogue we have had with you, but I could not find any information indicating we have been in contact.

I can see that you requested for a link to be whitelisted and this had been denied. We are under strict guidelines when it comes to approving links since they have historically been an easy way to get personal data from end users. When different links on a website are not working that is usually an indicator of a website that might redirect to another site after approval, which increases the risk of said link.
