Just received our second gate from Gatewrights having had the first one for more years than we can remember. We were delighted to be able to buy exactly the same one again. Despite all the upheavals of Lockdown and Pandemic, our gate was delivered at the exact time and on the exact date we were given. Beautifully packed with great care and attention to detail. Earlier in the year we decided that the time had come to replace our fast disintegrating 20 year old gates at our Yorkshire Dales home.

Having spent some time researching a replacement including visits to a number of suppliers we decided to place an order with Gatewrights online as the quality, style and price of their bespoke range seemed excellent.

Today the three gates duly arrived bang on schedule and frankly surpassed our expectations in every way.

Truly superb craftsmanship in Sapele hardwood, lovely detailing to the design and exceptionally well packaged for delivery.

Excellent service across the board from initial enquiry through to installation. Our bespoke wooden gate was manufactured and delivered on time. The workmanship is particularly good, and the gate is finished to a high standard with high quality fittings, etc. We are extremely happy with the finished product. We ordered our gate with installation and our experience with the installer was top notch as well. He arrived in the morning, installed the gate professionally and tided up after himself. Will definitely recommend Gatewright to family and friends that are looking for a new gate.

I recently bought out new double driveway gates from Gatewrights. Despite the wait during lockdown I am not disappointed. They exceed expectations and are of superb quality and the envy of my neighbours. I would highly recommend their quality and craftsmanship.

VERY pleased with quality and construction of hardwood garden gate. Have used company previously and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just received a 1200mm wide sideway gate from Gatewright. Wonderful quality of build with a top quality finish. The gate furniture was also very good quality complete with all screws and fittings.The delivery was per the order without any delay.
All together a great product with first class communication from a highly recommended supplier.

No replies to emails, kept calling, very unhelpful and not accommodating. Didn’t seem to want my business. Will go elsewhere.

I am absolutely stunned at the level of service I received from this company. From start to finish they have been excellent. Had to get advice regarding the 'keyed alike', as I had no idea what that was and they were very accommodating. Ordered my lock on 20th April 2020 and it arrived this morning, 21st April 2020!.

Considering we are in the thick of a pandemic, I would say that this is lightning speed. Thanks very much Gatewrights. Big thumbs up from me.

I recently bought two Long Throw gate locks and was very pleased with them.
However, one of the locks became impossible to operate and when I investigated I found two of the operating teeth on the cog had broken off.
Phoned Gatewrights at 0900 and explained the problem, and was asked to supply a photo of the lock and broken cog, which I did.
At 1300 I had a phone call to say that a new lock would be delivered tomorrow.

Fantastic service both from Gatelocks and the supplier of the locks.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them both and will use again in the future.

Very impressed firstly with the customer service and there extensive knowledge of all things gates and secondly the quality of the products as it's all top end kit, the 19mm t&g will last for many years.. !

Would not hesitate to use again as they ticked all the boxes and seem to actually care which is a rare thing these days..!

Had a very pleasant experience ordering my gate from Gatewrights. They were able to provide very useful (and much needed) advice over the phone which helped me order the correct size gate and hinges. The order was delivered on time by a friendly guy that put the gate exactly where i asked him to put it. Very happy with the gate, well made and exactly what I was expecting to receive after ordering from their website. Also liked the website - it gives loads of handy info and gives a real-time quote. There was a slight defect on the metal ring latch handle and after informing them about it, they sent out a replacement straight away. All in all a good service and would happily use them again and recommend them!

Becarefull when ordering gates, advertising 8 weeks delivery which ordinarily sounds quite a long time, take your money and then quote you 13 weeks for delivery because their really busy.
Just quote the correct delivery periods on your website and save us all some time.

We chose to visit as our gates were complicated, which was a good decision as the advice and help we got was excellent. Lovely family company, and what they didn't know about gates wasn't worth knowing. The staff were welcoming and keen to advise us, coming up with brilliant ideas we hadn't thought of. Questions answered before we had time to ask them! The gates arrived on time, beautifully packed with clear instructions. The after sales service was superb, and showed endless patience with all our questions. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend them
