ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS.

DO NOT USE! My heating system went down and I called this company. Without even confirming, someone just showed up at my door. Desperate to have the issue fixed I let him in. He didn’t have a clue what he was doing. Spent 1.5 hours, half of which was spent reading the system’s manual. Eventually I took the manual and started following the steps myself. After a while I asked him to leave as we were getting nowhere. They then proceeded to charge me £400, with no fix and no clue what the problem was! I called another company in who simply reset the system and it’s working now. This company is a joke!

Terrible company, use them at your peril. I wish I could say what I would like to say but if my tenant had done what they suggested she would probably be 6 foot under by now. I know some people give bad reviews when they are not justified but this review is as bad as it justifiably gets. If I could score with minis stars I would have done. If you use these people after reading this review don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Terrible company . I called them for help with my boiler in emergency .They sent a cowboy who know nothing on boilers, very rude and estimated £ 800 to get gas valve replaced which is a joke . Then he charged me £72 for doing nothing and I paid him to get rid of him from my property.
PLEASE don't call them . They should be banned in UK for faking people.

Wish I’d read the reviews before calling but they are one of the first companies to come up on Google for emergency plumber. We had a water leak on a Saturday night which turned out to be a pipe behind the washing machine - it took 5 mins to fix, the pipe was £12 - the job £479 - insane.

Terrible experience - not a proper plumber.
Called out as an emergency as pump to shower was not pumping water out, therefore was left a pond on the bathroom floor.
He took the pump apart, said he was going to get a part for it. Couldn't get the part at screw-fix.
He put the pump back wrong which made it worse than before and charged me £576.00 for doing nothing.
Got a proper plumber in. There was a piece of paper which blocked the pipe, therefore water not pumping out properly, he had to replace some of the fixings the previous plumber put it back together wrong.

We wanted someone to clear a drain, this 'company' came up as drain specialist, they sent a plumber - not a drain specialist, which we only found out after he hadn't the right equipment to deal with our problem. He was here for 5.5 hours, charged us £2,400 odd quid and the drain still wasn't cleared. Don't use these rip off merchants. They overcharge, demand payment before leaving and charge an 'admin' fee to add insult to injury. I suspect the guy they sent wasn't even a good plumber.

Absolutely disgusted by how they have ripped off my 73 year old Mother. They charged £300 for a quick fix of a leaky toilet

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Our regular plumber was away, so we decided to use these guys as they promised to arrive within 40 minutes, Four hours later the plumber arrived. Our toilet stopcock wasnt working properly, and after he repaired it he said "he couldnt leave until he had paid us" We paid online and was shocked that the bill was over £300!. After he had gone, the leak had been fixed, but the toilet didnt really hold much water and didnt flush that well. After a couple of months, the repair failed, but as our regular plumber was back in town we called him instead. I then complained to this firm and asked for some compensation as per their small print on their webite. They didnt want to know and made small print up on the fly to wriggle out of their legal responsibilities. It seems I will have to force a refund through legal challenges. avoid. avoid. avoid.

We used this company to repair a surgery toilet flush that had broken. Receptionist was quoted £69 for all-out. We went ahead as seemed a fair price for this issue. They sent their terms and conditions through email when the work was actually being carried out. They advised £200 per hour. The invoice was sent to me for £586.80 for a job that should be around £100 with parts. I have disputed the invoice five times and have subsequently got it reduced. Lessons to be learnt and we will not be using this shambles of a company again. Very unprofessional when I first contacted them.

Again like all others review this company is a complete RIP of company, AVOID at all cost.

Called to repair leaking stopcock. Plumber arrived after about an hour and made the repair. Very nice repairman, no problem with the work.
The Company charged over £400 for less than 1 hour work. Expected to pay a premium on a Sunday but this is a rip off.

Total rip off. The plumber who came was very nice but. Call out charge £63 (to lure you in) don’t mention vat.
When plumber arrived he waited until they sent contract £195 per hour !! Don’t mention vat. As plumber already there and it was a leak so we had no water, we decided to go ahead. Very simple job but a couple of complications. Total time 1.5hrs.
Total cost £613 !! What a rip off. Plumber waited until we paid. Do not use this company. If it’s an emergency (ours was at night and plumber turned up next morning ) turn off your water and contact a plumber the next day. This company is run by one man. He must be making a fortune.

Had a flooded kitchen on a Sunday night unfortunately. Was charged £69 for a call out fee which I expected however when the plumber arrived I was immediately told I needed to agree to a contract of a minimum of an hours work at £195 before he had even looked at the issue.
Once the contract had been agreed, he looked at the issue said there was nothing he could do except turn off my water, which I could have done myself. I have now had a bill through for £316 for literally 2 minutes work. Scam, do not use.

I requested a plumber to check earthing to stop cock, They quoted £60 call out fee. Plumber arrives , he send a message and they message back saying £189. per hours subject to VAT and terms. it doesnt specify the works - per rate charge. The conversation goes to fitting taps etc. Theu guys fis a tap which had to be paid for and ends up with a bill for £414. Discgraceful, that fitting a tap not even an emergency requirement should be charged at this rate. !!!!

Absolutely disgraceful. 3 minute job charged at 4 times the going rate per hour.

The telephone operator was clearly disguising the true cost of the call out when I asked about it.

Do not use.

The job was fine but they are very sharp with the money aspect. Only here 15 minutes, but charged for an hour plus a call out charge plus a 15% administrative charge plus vat. Will not use them again.

My tenants called out this company as an emergency, they didn’t fix the problem, bathroom still leaking and charged over £1,000 for another job which didn’t need doing…and now I cant get hold of anybody at GBSE Ltd!!

This company is a SCAM. Please head to plumbing immediately on trustpilot which is their new and claimed profile to leave your review as they change their names to avoid the negative ratings.

When you email them to complain they completely ignore you. Total scammer behaviour! Please take time and report to trading standards.
