Avoid this site

I am very concerned about my experience with this shop. I ordered a Giant Tri Clamp for €260.

The red flags started immediately:
1. My order was marked as "Completed" on the website almost instantly, yet no shipping information or tracking was provided at that stage.
2. No any response from gearup.ie mails about tracking number or order status
3. After I contacted to another email with the same shop address (giant-cork.ie), I was told the item was "just posted," which contradicts the "Completed" status on the site.
4. They eventually provided a tracking number (UB013043146IE), but it is not recognized by the official AnPost (Irish Post) system. It appears to be a fake or invalid number.

It looks like a deliberate attempt to stall and mislead the customer. Avoid this site! I will update this review only if a valid tracking link or a full refund is provided, but so far, this looks like a scam.

UPDATE:
The shop’s response is a weak attempt to mislead.

Fake ID: Even if a service is "non-trackable," a valid ID must still exist in the AnPost system (as "Accepted" or "Label created"). This number UB013043146IE does not exist at all. It is a fake.

Paid Shipping: I was forced to pay €10 for shipping with no other options. Taking money for shipping and then providing a non-existent tracking number is a scam.

Fake Status: Marking a €260 order as "Completed" on the very first day is a fraudulent tactic to trick payment systems.

Just to clarify, the shipping option selected at checkout is our standard non-trackable service, which is why it is offered at a lower cost than other delivery methods.

As the parcel is travelling from Ireland to the Czech Republic, delivery typically takes between 7 and 14 days, as indicated during checkout. Since only a few days have passed, it is still within the expected delivery timeframe.

I push my order on March 11 and still no news

I push my order on March 11. Still no news of the delivery date. And no answer to my mail.

Perfect

Perfect. Got what I needed reasonable price, Responsive customer service via email and prompt delivery. I bought a child seat. Came as ordered. Very happy and would go with them again at gearup.ie/ Giant shop.

After a week still haven received them.still waiting on phone call back. On when will I received my package. The an post won’t track my package

Joke of a place

Joke of a place. I called to add more to an order I had made and ask for some advice but I might as well have asked for their firstborn the way I was treated.
I heard a senior member of staff berating a junior member of staff because I had asked to speak to him. Called back only to be told someone would call me back. That call never happened. In the end, I cancelled the order and got of big box chain in the Netherlands. I wanted to order form an Irish company but they were just awful.
Re Reply - how convenient for you. There was no misunderstanding. I’ll pass my number and and email. I’ll swing by next time I’m seeing family in Ballincollig. I know the name of the person I spoke to and I know the name of the senior member of staff, he stars in a lot of your insta content. He was rude and dismissive. I’ll call today again to go through with someone.
